Nlng2014: Well dumb would be a harsh word to conclude as my assertion.
However "teamcaring" in the context it is used in this forum can take a leap off the 3rd mainland bridge. NLNG wants to see you freaking compete at your best. Care? You tell your competition even the color of the hotel, is that what people call caring. NLNG's model works like a charm. When you have attended your AC dude you will not even want to tell your dad and mum the full details. Coz you know what's at stake.
Talk is cheap, except you were part of the group that was successful in 2007. You have no clue what is required by NLNG.
Your competition in this excersize is the same as a contractor bidding for a tender. You better bring your best quote less you get dropped from the process. Competion brings out the best. NLNG wants to see the best and not a kissing contest. Well Said. I've always been on the side that this is a COMPETITION. I wish our old posts weren't cleared out. We are on the same side bruv |

kayceekels: How some peeps think..... How good is the food? So u want to know how good it is so u can come prepared with your own food and then having the chance to surpass us that ate the bad food.... No No No.... U will have to taste it yourself on that day.
On another note So if i want them to cancel this very very very long recruitment exercise, all i need do is take the following steps. 1. Go to the assessment center. 2. Try hard to pass but if i get the impression that my performance was not up to par. 3. Come to this thread and spew everything that happened on that day + names of those assessing. 4. Take a chilled coke and wait for the cancellation mail.
U guys never seize to surprise me. No hard feelings bro, however cease. |

DeeBlacque: But guy, why not just calm down and respect the fact that this is a public place and NLNG might be watching? If you must ask anyone for tips or reveal to anyone, you can do that privately; definitely not on this page. #WisdomIsProfitableToDirect Relax Peeps. I get the part of TeamFairPlay and i'm actually indifferent about any sort of info divulging. But truth be told, forget all those "NLNG might be here" bla bla bla. There are so many recruitment threads were pepole give out info, nothing happens. Even the last NLNG 2007 recruitment is guilty as charged. I Guess the tesion is nerve cracking, hence all this unnecessary drama. #TeamFairPlayStill |

But hey, there may be some extrememly magnanimous people who could give you such 'hints' what do I know?

Rizin: u r right man. When mustapha was released he was even begged to come and collect his entitlements while some relation of dead NYSC members are still at secretariat begging for the letters to be signed. Many were recruited just few months before NIS tragedy. Anyway miracle and magic sheared similarities b4 diff. 1 they are similar because they start with the same letter 'm' and differ in their second letter. 2. They happen on human but differ in the way they happened. Etc. This is nija the only impossibility is NOT ENVISAGED UnknownT: lol. But this is Nigeria, it may even be some people's "Right" The number of people left for this recruitment is even more than the whole staff NNPC has at the moment. Anyways whatever helps you sleep at night. |

I wish i had that opportunity many years ago. Perhaps i would have been long engaged in the oil and gas industry rather than wasting years in a goddamn manufacturing industry.
But then Let God's will be done. No complaints. Hehe. Nice. But maybe there was something you needed to learn in the manufacturing firm that would prepare you for this NLNG AC. You never know. |

Thanks for your response and for coming here to engage with us!
Cheers Just the same thing i was thinking. The difference is he/she hits the nail on the head. I was shocked about the guy that didn't receive the invite. Sharp sharp. "Send your mail, error detected, the guy received his invite". No ambiguity. Well i guess he's/she's just "nicer". |

ceetee: @scarletdp So why do vehicles have spare tires? why do people take insurance. Succinctly the last paragraph would have suffice I get you, though you kinda missed my point. We do things in a particular way but when we want to do that same thing in a situation we rate at a high value, we automatically think the worst might happen. Normally, you send mails all the time., never once worry wether network would mess it up. Why now? When you drive cars, usually you should have a spare tyre no matter the situation. And just because you have a spare tyre doesn't mean you be on the look out for vulcanizers. Why not let things take its course and remember everything happens for a reason. |

DivineU: No, I have gotten my invite but am scared network will not affect anyone's confirmation(availability & present location) mail to NLNG HR. Am of the opinion for them to send a reminder or acknowledgment mail to us on or before 22nd May,2015 so that some people will not forfeit this golden opportunity because of network wahala. Thanks. I will advise you get this mind set out of your system. Don't get me wrong I truly understand where you're coming from. However, you must have sent series of mails in your life time , 99% must have gone through, why would you think this NLNG reply would fall on the 1% that do not go through because of network? Back in my school days I wondered why people take two pens when it's time for exams. All through lecture days, one might suffice, why have the mindset that on that 2 or 3 hour exam day, one would fail or something. Like i said, I understand we all want to be on the safer side however the glass is either half full or half empty. It all depends on how you look at it. Anyways my point is BE POSITIVE. |
