freeradical: I now understand that the figures you posted before were not exact tho u pronounced them with so much authority one may think it's the real deal. As for the GTs earning close to 9m p.a I do not mean fresh graduates for other companies but some prospective NLNG GTs that probably hav gained close to 5yrs work experience and as talents have earned themselves the high flyer status and gotten quick promotions. Remember also that it's going to 2 years since we all applied for this job and a lot can happen in that span of time. I don't think NLNG will budge on the Q1 pact they have signed with us. They won't want to rubbish their integrity before miserly GTs. . I believe the stall in the recruitment process can be linked to the current political uncertainty that is tainting our nation this season. Well at the level we are now I'm not sure there is anyone left in this race that isn't battle ready for the AC. For most of us the preparation mode will kick in when we start seeing invites for the event. After all said we r surely keeping the hopes up cos we got nothing to lose but a lot to gain. #Q12015 We got nothing to lose but a lot to gain. I had to write that again #Q12015 |

KevinKupr8: Dear Mr. "Forkadict" as your Moniker infers..... I can see you have turned your hopes to God, which is the wisest decision any man can make. But I must tell you a salient part of turning to God. His word says that them that must worship me must must worship in truth and in spirit. (John 4:23-24) i.e. Every thing about you must turn to God, your heart, body, and soul. The lord should reflect in every area of your life, then your answers will granted to you as yo desire. My Advise, Let your Moniker reflect the name of the Lord. Let your signature change from the status-quo. "God is the Greatest" "Remember, Action speaks LOUDER than WORDS". Have a fulfilled February. I declare Peace in every community where we all live. Non of us in this race will fall by any bloodshed or Violence during the election. Our Journeys (Goings and Comings) are covered with the Blood of Jesus. At the end of the tunnel of NLNG recruitment, we shall all be Fully Kitted as the Ones who were not forgotten but at last were employed. I wish each and every one of us The best of the Love Season. Regards, ..................................... #TeamVictory #AOAII BUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA... Nothing Funny about this post but somehow it got me cracking.... |

I think these are part of what keeps the thread alive, and foster relationships. In that thread they were like one big family but in this thread, everybody is a stranger. God bless you... freeradical: I know there is a politics section before I decided to drop the post here, thank you very much. We are human beings here on this forum and not some robots. Why cant we discuss politics as it affects our collective interest right here on this very thread. In the course of our wait at different tyms in the past there has been a lot of digressions on this same forum which we all caught our fun with why cant politics be one of such. @scarletdp, Attyms the way u respond to peoples comments is both condescending and downright rude. If you don't have any comments to make why bother quoting the post? Not picking any beef with you man but you have to chill at tyms before you rush to your keyboard and type.
Others on the thread pls feel free to bear your minds on anything that you deem necessary. Last I check it's a free country and everyone is still entitled to his own opinion. I would love to believe I'm. also free to air my opinion about not wanting to turn this thread to a Jona N buhari thread... P.S.. I don't use my keyboard ... its spoilt... freeradical: Since politics its in the air right now I feel we should not shy away from discussing it in this thread. Apart from being a good past-time while we await the end of Q1 due date(like expectant mothers ) i also feel it's imperative we discuss it because one way or the other the outcome of this forthcoming elections will affect directly or indirectly our chances of taking our respective careers to the next level with NLNG. Quite unfortunately many of us here including myself will not be voting due to one reason or the other but with strong arguements we can be able to convince those who will want to vote so as to enable them to make the right choices that will positively impact on our collective interest as a group of propective NLNG workers.
So my educated future colleagues I put the question to you all....who should we vote as president come feb 14th, GEJ or GMB? That's why there is a section on nairaland forum called Politics section... |

JosephCudjoe: My dear,it is not him that planteth nor soweth but God dat giveth increase.Don't let God use the foolish things of this earth to disgrace you.Never undermine prayer. What if wit all ur hardwork,ur script gets missing while gathering the answer sheets.what if d section B 51/61 dosent work in your favour,What if the person dat was gonna send u an invite for an interview just dislike u and choose not too.My dear Humble urself and PRAY.PRAYER goes beyond what u think it is. Why do we pray for an NNPC job n not a GNLD. .. ans is simple, one has a higher MAN MADE VALUE. not God's value ... I still maintain hardwork is prayer in action... In a fair setting if he works hard n doesn't pass ppl who did worked harder.. n if u do poorly in an exam n u r still called, ppl did worse... no magic to it... why do we think getting the job means ur favored... There is a reason it's called "thy will b done on earth as it is in heaven"... sometimes we want to change d will in heaven with wat we want on earth... why can't we Blv even if u fail, it's God's grace taking u to where u should be..... and before someone gets me wrong I'm not saying don't pray... I prayed in hardwork before d exam n in words on d day of d exam for God's will b done n will continue to do so... and if I don't get it that's HIS will, dt's d favor coz He alone knows Best... |

scoffield245: I still postulate. To write an exam and have a thread for it only to come dia and be asking wats de next stage and wen interview and offering prayers on the thread won't help anyone. Even if u pray in the pinnacle of the tabernacle. It won't put food on ur table or money in ur pocket. Rather hard work does.and hard work is achieved by reading. And learning wen u fail so u will do better next time.if everybody passed like everyone us claiming here then wud dey employ all 50000.many will fail while many passes.the essence of doing correction which no other forum can do for u rather than the thread of fellows. Google can sometimes but even sometime it fails to clarify and only others choices convinces u. It's very funny seeing many refusing to offer solutions and hiding behind superior knowledge and work and positing that they are big boys and girls while those of us commenting are small boys.to me u are notin but a dead brain .redundant and defunct without prospects of intellectual growth cos u have chosen to get stagnated by virtue of hiding behind nonsense higher level tins. I only said dat the exams were relatively cheap and many will pass and many decided to crucify me wit missikes.now many others have repeated the same tin but like he vultures that only hover above a corpse but restrains from the living u avoid dem becos u finally noticed how wrong u were in thinking am an easy pik. I'll have u kno I only write the nnpc exam as a means to further test my ability not cos I want the job.many bankers and people in private firms left their job to write it since it is greener pastures. For me I already have a federal govt equivalent position which I achieved not by fed character but was selected based on a very selective process that involved one of the worst gmat exam history in Nigeria which I proved my mettle and was selected by merit despite being a fed govt ministry prone to the usual syndromes of federal character, quota principles, spoil system and godfatherism. In essence wat I'm saying here is that hard work pays and u achieve it sometimes faster by mutual sharing of info and ideas concerning exams and questions not prayers.dibt turn the thread to a sentimental ground for failure miracle changes.rathers identify ur weaknesses and correct them.sometimes we have beliefs about answers that are wrong. We write exam and fail but tink we passed and wen we are not called for interview we start screaming corruption, while the problem lies with ur approach and beliefs about questions. So help urself by positively impacting on urself by improving on ur courage to learn ur weaknesses .a journey of a this and miles begins with a single step Be wise I seriously hope no one tries to insult u back for calling some peeps defunct n dead brain... However dude u could have passed ur message across without those words... everyone can't be you.. I agree with u about the prayers for all to pass.. coz it's not possible.. when I see posts like that I just laugh... coz hard work itself is prayer in action. ... If you have a goal at sight, hard work alone is most likely gonna help u achieve that goal Dan prayer alone... der is a reason it's called work and pray n not pray n work.... but a wise person would do himself good in doing both.... you go through the stairs n I take d elevator, some even jump through windows, but we still get to the top... different paths same destination...that being said .... its different strokes for different folks... We all can't be you no matter how hard we try.... |
