isan:Tochukwu Oluehi have been a good goalkeeper right from day one...Her lost of form before the FIFA Women's World Cup Last Year in France, Really baffled me, anyway we now have Chiamaka Nnadozie who's doing great at her tender age!!! it will be good to have a competition among them for who's going to be the First Choice, either she's wins her Spot back as the First Choice goalie or Chiamaka Nnadozie continues to retain it because she currently seems to be unstoppable.. We also have Alaba Jonathan, our 2016 AWCON heroines in Cameroon... Onyinyechi Okeke 22yrs old Goalkeeper currently playing for Bayelsa Queens is still one Promising Goalkeeper during her U17 days in 2014... before moving to the U20 in 2016, She is taller than Chiamaka Nnadozie and was very good then.. So many of the followers of the Women football game thought she was going to be the next Superb goalkeeper for the Superfalcons of Nigeria but haven't lived up to Expectations and Chiamaka Nnadozie is already ahead of her in the perking order.....

lakesidepapa:Lol Rinsola Babajide is a quick player but not as fast as Ordega or Oshoala.... She and the likes of Okobi, Uchenna Kanu and Uchendu can be compared in terms of pace not Oshoala at all..... |
Congratulations Christy Ucheibe...... The Versatile midfielder who can play as a 4,, 8 and 10 to me she's Best play as a Defensive Midfielder...
|
Unsung Heroine - Christy Ucheibe Undoubtedly Nigeria's best player at the 2018 U20 Women's World Cup was goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie but defensive midfielder Christy Ucheibe was absolutely the second best player in the team. The former U-17 player broke up plays at will to win possession back and pass the ball to her more attacking minded teammates. Ucheibe is a gem that has been discovered since 2018 and hopefully could be an asset for the Nigeria Superfalcons soonest.

isan:Atletico de Femenino is good enough to pay her but I think they weren't ready to pay a huge amount on her... |
BascoVanVeli:I guess she's after the Money as it is right now... |
BascoVanVeli:it's a team game (collective effort) though so I can't say... Atletico Madrid should have signed Ordega permanently, she's that kind of striker i think they need now to do the job from the Wing using pace, skills and good delivering into the Box. |
BascoVanVeli:Hermaso had a slight knock and she isn't fit yet... Asisat Oshoala is having the game time she deserves...Her Pace, strength and finishing is one thing the coaches can't do without. |
The referee really made a great mistake there because there wasn't a foul from Oshoala ... That France Defender fell down after hitting her left leg against Oshoala own, Oshoala was even the one who's supposed to fall down not #19 Aïssatou Tounkara.. That's a Clean goal not a Foul |
[quote author=TheSuperNerd post=86441376]Asisat Oshoala's goal vs Atletico Madrid...
Then below is her powering past Atletico players like she's wonder woman... Lol... a Goal even if I'm not a referee, considering the Physical tussle and how she was able to get past her markers... Anyway the referee knows Best. |

French, German coaches jostle for Falcons’ job • Okon, Danjuma, Mmadu also listed From Andrew Abah, Abuja At least two foreign coaches from France and Germany are among the notable names being considered as the next coach of the national women’s team, the Super Falcons. The Super Falcons post is one of the prime positions being jostle for after the exit of Swede Thomas Dennerby and other indigenous coaches in the mix include former international and former Falcons assistant coaches, Maureen Mmadu and Ann Chiejinne; with others being past handlers of the team including Bala Nkiyu, Christopher Danjuma and Edwin Okon. BascoVanVeli:She's such a great talent that have been overlooked by the NWSL Club's even with her World Cup Experience she didn't get Drafted.. The US Women football experts and followers have always rated the NAIA women football as an equivalent to the NCAA D2 which i think was a major factor, because the NCAA players have been the only side considered for years now.. if Kanu was to be drafted before it's would have been another history for her as the first NAIA player to get Drafted by a NWSL club, although only one player from the NAIA division have be signed by a NWSL club in History but not through the Draft process but Trail... Some of the NWSL fans who knew Kanu very well also responded to her not being drafted saying it's because she's not from America, due to the fact that only the US, Canada are mainly considered.. some said the NWSL have lost another great player because she has played at the highest Level (FIFA Women's World Cup) She's currently at her based in the US, but hope she moved to the European side soonest.. Considering her response when asked what your next move on playing PRO since she wasn't drafted!! she said she's still considering who to Sign for which means there are offer on ground. |
Give marriage a chance, Chiejine tells female football players Former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Ann Agumanu- Chiejine has advised female players in the country to give marriage a chance, even as they continue their career in the round leather game. Chiejine, who ranks top among the first set of female footballers in Nigeria, spoke at the 2020 SheFootball Conference organized by another Falcons star, Ayisats Yusuf Aromire, went down memory lane to educate the players about the importance of starting a family early. The four-time African Women championship winner, admonished the players not be discouraged by friends, teammates and peer pressure in giving a shot at early marriage. “It is sad that female footballers are perceived to be marriage shy. Let us move away from this stereotype. As female players, we are good at what we do in the field for our clubs and country, we can equally excel in building a home if we give it a chance. “I was discouraged by my teammates and friends when I wanted to marry because they thought that I will not be able to play football or hang out with them anymore. “I have a 24 year old daughter and when you see us together, you will think she is my sister. I got married at the age of 17 and till date, I have no regrets about giving marriage a chance when I did because I enjoy everything my friends and teammates felt marriage will deny me. “Whatever you think you are doing now, give it your best shot but also have it at the back of your mind that marriage is good”, Chiejine advised. |

Super Falcon Onome Ebi committed to Henan Huishang FC and will remain in China Jan 6, 2020 1:19 AM Super Falcon Onome Ebi has rebuffed all offers from Europe and the US and has announced she will remain with her Chinese club Henan Huishang FC. The 36-year-old Nigerian star who became the first African to play in five World Cup tournaments in 2019 [male or female], signed for the club in February 2018 shared: "China is super good. I'm still in China and will not be heading anywhere else. I've signed a new contract so I will remain at the same team as I love it here." Speaking on why the Super Falcons did not make it to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics the sublime defender said: "The change of captaincy has nothing to do with us not qualifying for the Olympics. Maybe a change of coaches contributed because the previous coach Thomas Dennerby knew what he wanted and had worked with the players. The change of coaches two weeks to the qualifiers was a huge blow. It feels bad because we've not qualified for like two Olympics so we focused on qualifying for this year's edition but that's football, you win some, you lose some," "I've been asked when I will retire but as long as I'm still giving value to the team, retirement is not on the agenda for now. "We had up to six good defenders in the Nigerian league who were good covers for the foreign-based players. We have to take care of our league to make it standard," Ebi stressed. We wish her continued success and maybe even a sixth World Cup in the making. As we say in Nigeria "Nne carry go!" |
