3-0 Ezenadu.
Alice Ogebe has been an eyesore - had three different 1v1s with the AS keeper and fluffed all 3. Not only that, she has been extremely selfish. She had a 3 on 2 and decided to take a shot from a tight angle in the box, when the smarter play should have been to lay a pass to 2 open RA colleagues. Hit the post. The coach had to call her to the side and give her a tongue lashing (could hear his voice on the sideline - he was pissed). This girl has really declined. Nigeria could have easily been up by 6 or 7. For someone like her with years of foreign experience, so disappointed with her!

On a positive note, Viv has been fantastic on the right wing, ditto that for Ezenaku. Impressed with the midfield play of Abiodun #9 - rugged and a good box to box midfielder. Light afternoon for Ibube Whyte - not sure she even touched the ball in the half, except for goal kicks.
Are you seeing the job Mary Saiki is doing in the Midfield??

GeneralDae:
The zambian team is quiet promising. Even when down to ten men, they still tried to keep the ball on the ground and play to the nearest man. I think they learnt a lot from their mistakes against the Netherlands.
For sure, if I were to be the Coach I would retain the same Squad for the Upcoming AWCON qualification game which is just two months plus from now.. All maybe add one of two..

I just hope Coach Randy Waldrum Field a Strong Squad during the Six Nation's Tournament in September since he already had a look at 98% of the Players...

*** Aisha Buhari invitational Tournament September 14-20, 2021.

*** The first round will take place October 18-26,2021.

*** Second round will take place between February 14-23, 2022.

No need Fielding a squad made up of mainly Home base... At least few of the regular starters can be exempted if need arises though the tournament is taking place during the FIFA international Free Window which is between (13-25) of September, Clubs should be able to release their Players..

China is the worst of them. They should be rivaling USA in world stage of women's football because they are the pioneer power house then, but just fell off and never recovered. Same way with their distant friend Norway.
The Germany I used to know are gradually following the decline.....

Maryann Ezenagu should definitely be the next SF candidate on the list. She was brilliant, confident in herself and was deadly for Rivers Angels.
This is the kind of player you should be recommending to Waldrum, not Njoku (we've been there and done that).
Wanted her back because of her past performance, due to some unforeseen circumstances I didn't bother anymore after then...

What do you think of Maryan Ezenagu and Peace Efih?
Ezenagu another young and Superb winger, performed well at the U17 Women's World Cup in Jordan....

Peace Efih My Warri Connect, can play as a Central, Box to Box Midfielder, Attacking Midfield and From the Wing she's good with the ball at her feets

Would give a little more on them later on...

Nah not even a right back anymore and we don't need her as a center back
Ugo Njoku could have been Superfalcons greatest Right Back with the way she started at first but the hiatus from the team have really affected her game especially after coming back from France Croix Savoie Ambilly FC (2nd Division Clubside) at the end of the 2017/18 season. She added up a lot of weight and the international Friendly game against France in 2017 exposed her a lot cause she was looking so heavy and slow in pace.
Retuning from France she had a break from Football not until this 2020/21 season before she returned to Rivers Angels..
Having returned to Rivers Angels she started playing as a Center Back, probably were Coach Edwin Okon think is better for her right now..

Already told Coach Randy about her alongside Ebere Orji months ago, Let's see if she can work her way back...

Rasheedat Ajibade says she is built for competitive Spanish League
25th July 2021

After switching from the Norwegian Toppserien side, Avaldnes to a more competitive Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Atletico Madrid, Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade says she is built to surmount the challenges of the league and overcome when next season kicks off.
It has been fun and competitive. Sometimes easy, sometimes challenging, but that’s what I am built for. To face all odds and overcome.

The former FC Robo Queens player scored 12 goals in 40 league games and improved her personal best during her second season with Avaldnes where she played from 2019 to 2020.

In her first season with Atletico Madrid, the former Nigeria junior international scored two goals in all competitions for the Rojiblanco.
Ajibade celebrates one of her goal with teammates
“No, that was not my best. I have a lot more to offer and there is a lot more to come.” Says Rasheedat Ajibade.

Rasheedat, 21, scored her first goal under the tutelage of Randy Waldrum for Super Falcons during the African Champions’ 3-3 draw with Portugal at the 2021 US Summer Series.
She sees the American gaffer as an amazing coach and opens up on the interesting and competitive nature of the Spanish league.

Rasheedat Ajibade in action for Super Falcons of Nigeria vs Portugal
She said: “Coach Randy Waldrum is amazing.
All leagues have their uniqueness. The Spanish Primera Iberdrola has a lot of games in the season, lots of good teams to contest against, and many competitions in the country, which all makes it interesting.
Ajibade and Atletico Madrid will kick off the 2021/2022 Spanish Primera Division Women’s league season with a home match against Rayo Vallecano on September 5, 2021.

Super Falcons on the other hand will feature at the Aisha Buhari Invitation Tournament in preparation for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) Qualifiers against Black Queens of Ghana.

Rasheedat wants to give her best for her Club and national team with the aim of winning more titles with both sides after winning the 2018 AWCON title with Nigeria.
“My expectations with Atletico Madrid and Super Falcons are numerous; to be the best, to give more than I have given in previous games and competitions, to help the team win, and lots more.” She concluded.

Rasheedat Ajibade featured for 2021 Aiteo Cup finalist and Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, FC Robo Queens before moving to Norway where she played for Avaldnes and switched to Atletico Madrid on January 1, 2021.

Oparanozie makes scoring return on Plumptre debut as Nigeria pip Olimpija

Desire Oparanozie made a goalscoring return in her first Nigeria match since June 2019 on Ashleigh Plumptre's debut as they defeated Slovenian giants Olimpija Ljubljana 1-0 in an unofficial friendly fixture.

The Dijon striker made an immediate return to the Super Falcons' starting XI on Friday in Vienna after reuniting with her teammates since a two-year long absence for administrative reasons.

Besides Oparanozie, Sundsvall striker Ebere Orji Eskilstuna United midfielder Ngozi Okobi and Paris goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie were also making a return for the first time since missing out of action since October 2019.

Friday's match in Vienna was a wrap up test match for the West African nation following a eight-day training camp ahead of their upcoming international engagements, beginning with the Aisha Buhari Cup in September.

Oparanozie continued with her fine form from Dijon as she found the back of the net 16 minutes into the encounter to hand the Africans the lead from a free kick spot against the Slovenian aide at Vosendorf Stadium.

Despite six changes at half time, the introduction of Joy Bokiri for Rita Chikwelu, Gift Monday for Okobi, Ebere Orji for Uchenna Kanu Nicole for Chidinma Okeke, Ini Umotong for Oparanozie and Yewande Balogun for Nnadozie did not mar the Super Falcons bid for a slim win over the Dragons.

And British born Leicester City defender Plumptre, who made her maiden appearance for Nigeria, along with American born goalkeeper Yewande Balogun.

No actions for Bayelsa Queens goalkeeper Onyinyechi Okeke, Evelyn and Josephine Ijeh, while Levante star Francisca Ordega and Houston Dash woman Michelle Alozie had earlier been permitted to return to their various clubs.
With victorious outing, the Super Falcons camping has come to an exciting end in Austria as players and officials are scheduled to return to their various bases on Saturday, July 24.

From 2006 AWCON to 2010
Africa women football faced such challenges with E/Guinea Fielding both player's then, they were finally dropped from the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany which also speaks volume that they were possibly men..

But I was shocked to see Salimata Simpore play for Dinamo Minsk FC of Belarus through out last season...

Salimata Simpore Played for Burkina Faso the year 2016, I wonder how CAF operate sef!
Even Equatorial Guinea Captain Genoveva Anonman faced the same charges but was later cleared after Series of Check...

From the 1st pics, the no.5 is Bilguisa Simpore who played Center Back for E/Guinea then, while her sister no.8 Salimata is a Striker

I did not even look through the lower part before commenting... I see why they keep accusing her, she bears some resemblance to Equatorial Guinea's Simpore. Something might be wrong somewhere ; she's even got a flat chest... Wow!
Bilguisa Simpore and Salimata Simpore twin Sister of Confusion hahaha

Tough one for me.
In her debut against Jamaica (2nd half), she was very dynamic and somewhat impressive - she actually scored a disallowed goal (offside) and seemed to be full of confidence. However, when she played against Portugal and the US, she seemed to be out of sorts a bit.

Now, unlike the Payne sisters, Onumonu, Alozie and Plumptre, even though she did play NCAA soccer, she did not have the priviledge of playing the NCAA Div 1 tournament, as she did not play for one of the 'big women's soccer schools', like Duke, West Virginia, UC Berkeley, Tennessee Vols or or USC State, respectively. She does attend modest Lamar Univ. here in Texas, which is a small school and is not renowned for its soccer program, even in the state of Texas. It made sense then, that she would struggle against teams that were tactically based (Portugal and US), which was what happened.

Having said that, she is still very young and has a bright future ahead of her. If she is lucky enough to be picked in the NWSL draft or she can find a club in Europe to hone and harness her skills, I think she might excel. But for now, I really don't think she is ready yet.
Okoronkwo was Selected to MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List by the members of the United Soccer Coaches Women's NCAA Division I All-America committees, For her to be picked as one of those to watch out for, don't that speak volume about her potentials cause that's the biggest award as far as the NCAA Women Soccer is Concerned..!!!
For me I will give her 50/100

Between her and the Home Based that where opportune to get game time at the Summer Series, what's your say??

The likes of Christie Patricia Rampone (Center Back), former US Captain who have two Children, gave birth to her second daughter in 2010 before the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany and was able to recover on time to play all US games at the World... We should know that response to internal and external changes from our Body system varies

That happens when you fail to train and recover yourself properly. There's another lady in the US team that had a child then too. Alex Morgan was playing football even with a heavy belly.
I don't think that's the issue with Alex Morgan right now, one of the top scorer in the NWSL this season but I'm pretty certain she hasn't hit her top form yet...
Sydney Leroux is still doing well, have two kids already still Playing for the same club with Alex Morgan but is no longer in the USWNT set up...
