One day I boarded a bus from yaba to bariga, we were 14 passengers and we paid 200 each making it 2800 in total. On leaving the park, the agbero asked him to pay, he gave them 200 naira, they refused and forcefully collected 1k from him leaving him with 1800, worst of all , they almost beat him up, an elderly man for that matter. Fast forward to when we got to pako bus stop , another set stopped him and asked for money, they forcefully collected 600 from him, leaving him with 1200. I really felt for him. The way these agberos are cheating these people is highly unfair.
That's why you see some at ikorodu road with soldiers to follow them all day to avoid extortion
