I ve not argued that as at the first century, when the congregation/church was in its infancy, that miracle was not a proof of God's backing. It was, it was ONE of the way God showed that he had shifted His attention from the then Jewich system to the Christian Congregation.

Neither does such miracles indicate that demons cannot perform such miracles, even in Christ's name. I have given a scripture for this position. The shepherding of the church is not occupied by one man called pastor, they should be many shepherds/pastors overseeing the running of the church, all having equal right. 1Pet 5:2: Acts 20:28

They should meet the qualifications outlined at 1tim 3:1-7. none of such should be there weakness.

Their teachings should be based on the bible, not man made rules. John 17:17.

Though 'pastors', they are not more important than the flock they shepherd. They should rather be least of the church. Those special treatment of calling daddy, wearing special garment is rubbish. matt 23:11, 12. james 2:1-4

Jesus didn't call it fake miracles and wonders as if it didn't happen. These false prophets will wrought real miracles that can be verified as having happened. But God is not their backer. Acts 16:16: Exod 7:11,12

With such miracles, you would think that God is backing him up, but you use the Bible to analyse any such persons. Act 17:11.
