GIFT OF HOLY GHOST

TEXT: "We are His witnesses and also the Holy Ghost, Whom God hath given to them that obey Him" (Acts 5: 32)

The Holy Ghost was given to believers in Christ as a gift from God. The fulfilment of that promise was clearly manifested in the life and ministry of the Apostle Peter and his colleagues as they declared to the rulers that they had the Holy Ghost. The Spirit has a special role to play in the life of the believer. Any believer without the Holy Spirit is like a flying aeroplane without the aviation fuel. Do you have the Holy Ghost?

That would not be a wrong boasting, but please be informed that the Holy Ghost is given to you for the fulfilment of a specific responsibility—that of being a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:4, 8.) You must desire daily to fulfil the purpose of the Holy Spirit in your life. The power of the Holy Spirit will make you to be more fruitful in soul winning.

What laws was God referring to when He said, “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts”? The laws that God puts in our minds and writes on our hearts refer to the royal law of love (Matthew 22:37–40), the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25) and the law of faith. (Romans 3:27) These are the laws of the new covenant.

You live according to the laws of the new covenant when you are conscious of how much God loves you. And the more you are conscious of His love for you, the more your heart is filled with love. Secondly, when you know that you are perfectly accepted by God because of Jesus’ sacrifice, you can have the courage and liberty as a child of God to come boldly into the presence of your heavenly Father. This is the perfect law of liberty operating in your life.

What Nigerians And Africans Don't Know About Men Of God (Pastors)

I have recently met with a Doctor who called me offline after seeing my comments and posts here on Nairaland. He told me that he felt somehow in him that the stuffs I am posting here on Nairaland are true because he has been into human relationship for decades.

The man told me many things about life which I can't actually share here online. But in particular, he told me all the atrocities committed by doctors who have been paid by pastors, imams, etc. One of those things he said was this:

A Pastor came to him and told him that they should work hand in hand. The doctor asked what he meant and the pastor told him what to do. Here are some of them:

1. Diagnosed people with the ailment they didn't have.
2. When you test people who come for pregnancy test, tell them that they don't have pregnancy when they have it. Then direct them to my church.
3. Give me information of those who are newly pregnant in your clinic before you give the information to them. Then I will locate them and pray with them to get pregnant.

The doctor accepted the offer because he needed money. He lamented that working for the government as a doctor did not pay.

The doctor told me the case of a pastor called Fire Fire. When the pastor wanted to hold a convention, he came to him and told him to tell lies to people who come to his hospital with ailments. Then one particular lady came with sickness which he diagnosed as typhoid. But the doctor told her that she had HIV. Then the pastor told her of the FIRE FIRE convention. After the convention, the woman returned to the doctor for check up and the doctor told her that the ailment was no more their. Then the woman shared her testimony after.

Many other experiences of scams were told by the Doctor Who says that he is now an agnostic.

Now my concern is WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE TO DECEIVE OTHERS, BEARING IN MIND THAT THEY WON'T LIVE FOREVER ON EARTH? IT IS QUITE PAINFUL THAT MANY GULLIBLE ONES WILL CONTINUE TO FALL VICTIM. THAT'S WHY I GO EVERYWHERE NOW TO ASK INFORMATION FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED NY PASTORS HOW IT HAPPENED TO THEM. I HAVE OVER 27 CASES RIGHT NOW(including the ones I got from ex-pastors who are now atheists and doctors who have one time or the other played to the tune of the pastors).

I can't forget this episode till I leave planet earth.
We went for Wednesday Prayer meeting one evening. During lntercessory prayers, the M.O.G through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit said that the angel of death will visit a family that same night. Omo come see prayers, trust Nigerians.

After the usual family prayers at night we all went to bed. That night I couldn't just sleep maybe because of the harmattan cold which was not unusual in the North. I was sleeping next to my elder bro who is a deep sleeper onced he hits the cover, till the next morning. I covered my eyes and ears with my head warmer.

I now saw my sister come out from her room because it was next to ours. She was searching for something frantically on our bed with her star com phone for like 5 minutes. I got furious with her but I couldn't say a word. She went into the parlour frantically looking for her slippers so my dad told us because he was in the sitting room praying. She wanted to go into their bedroom but came back into our room and entered my sisters room then came out of parlour and banged the door which was the hobby of my kid sis.

My dad came into my room and asked me if my kid sis was back from the loo Because it was built separately from the building and I told him no. So he entered my sis room and found her deeply asleep. Dad woke us all up and we both recounted our experience.

We now concluded that it was a familiar spirit. Who took her appearance, used her phone. When we counted the slippers it was complete and my dad said he saw her wear a slippers. Banged the door as my sis does and left.

3 days later our neighbor child died. He was 4 then and he looks like me. He always go to church with us and sleeps either with my parents or my sister.my sis take him out if he is going out. People keep asking her, Is he your kid brother she will say yes, the resemblance was uncanny. He disses his mother food for ours. The day he died he was with his aunt in her family house.

Dad said the direction the familiar spirit took was near the boys family apartment. I recalled Dogs seriously barking. We both saw the evil spirit but she couldn't see us. Christ Jesus had the power to save and deliver us from death.

As I type this, I shed a tear losing a brother from another mother. We have him in one of our family pictures frame. Visitors keep asking where is your last born, my mother wwill start shedding tears and the visitors will start consoling her.

exactly! they don't ever believe you. as a child growing up, i always see things. even as an adult, once im chaste for about three months without sin or stain, those things kick back in.

as still remember clearly one particular incident. i was in bed with my mother in a hot night. the bed was simulated just below the window and it was open to let in air. my mother got up and went outside to pee, it was her noise at the door that woke me. minutes after she was gone, i looked up the window from where i was lying and behold, a dark image was standing right above me on the window, starring at me. it's eyes are laser red and in contrast with the dark body. I asked her how she can turn her eyes sparkling red and just like every other kid she was impatient with my questions and went back to bed. in the morning i narrated my story to her again but she didn't take me serious. i knew what i saw and though nobody believed me, i knew it was real.

another thing is i have this uncanny memory or i should say a gift. as a grown guy i used to tell my mom my childhood events and things i remember but she swears that somebody must have told me cos those events happened when i was just months old, but then only her was the only witness of those events and she never told me of them. Not all spirits you see come from God. Even the Bible tells us to test every spirit to know if dey're from God (1 john 4 vs 1).

If U're seeing spirits or demons, the real purpose is for U to take authority over them, tell them to go.. The demons/spirits will try to communicate with U to win U early and deceive U just like many have been deceived.

If there is anything that is starkly spurious in christianity, it's the whole notion of speaking in tongues.
What christians call speaking is tongues, is just someone saying random meaningless words and claiming it's of heavenly origin. Anyone can do this.

Just study any christian who frequently speaks in tongues and you'll notice that every time he speaks in tongues, he uses the same string of phrases. This is because his brain has already become accustomed to those words, and invariably made it his default "heavenly tongue."

I know relations who have been using the same string of meaningless phrases for years now. They are so used to it, that they don't even know that it's the same bland group of words that they use.

Christians need to know that whatever transcendent feeling they experience, that causes them to speak in tongues, such feeling is not exclusive to christians. People from other religions also experience this feeling when they engage in their own so called spiritual activities, which can range from worship, to prayer, or even meditation which is isomorphic to quiet prayer, and such feeling can be so profound and overwhelming, that it makes them susceptible to suggestion and weird behavior. I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed this video much better than her singing during the Benny Hinn program I reviewed earlier.

However, I have a problem. At 4:32 she spoke some words which I don't understand: "bo shadada vandasanda". After singing some more, at 4:52, she sang these words "o rerererebo shande yama zeke allelu," which I don't understand either. When I asked for the translation, I was told she was speaking in tongues which, fortunately, can be interpreted by those who have the gift of interpretation.

I hereby call upon Nairalanders with the gift of interpretation of tongues to interpret those words for us so we can fully appreciate the song.

Speaking in tongues is a biblical phenomena and deeply spiritual, but it was intended only for the highly anointed and not the masses. The highly anointed are servants to the suffering masses. I am not speaking confidently on what I don't know. I am speaking confidently and assertively because it's a subject I am very familiar with. I also spoke in tongues when I was a christian and I know people who did, and who still do, and they all speak jargons. And funny enough, there is a very strong similarity between the jargons they speak. This is because everyone who speaks in tongues, tries to imitate someone that they've heard before.
Just listening closely to the sounds people who speak in tongue make, you'd realize that its almost the same rubbish. Even Nollywood actors also successfully imitate the same heavenly tongues.

This whole subject of speaking in tongues just shows how suggestible people can be, and it also accentuates the power of belief, especially belief that's reinforced by group followership.
