neduboo: Sir, can you please explain to me in a simple term so that I can understand you clearly. I was told that piling will prevent the building from sinking due to the nature of the soil there. Or is it that bungalow doesn't require piling? Hi, Let me try to breakdown what has been said. You have an architectural plan for a bungalow and you are making plans to build. However, your land is a water-logged area I.e A swamp. As such you shouldn't take structural advice for this kind of project from just anybody, so that you don't end up with regret. The right thing to do is to consult a structural engineer, he'll head to the site to see for himself and he'll recommend that you do a soil test to ascertain the allowable bearing capacity of the soil and type of foundation that would work in that area. After which the structural engineer would do the structural design and he'll be the one to estimate from the structural design the amount of rod you should buy. |

hakeem4: Well it is my favourite analysis software, so I might be bias about it.
I actually like staad pro because it allows you use your intuition. You can fully release moments, partially release moments. You can tension members, or force them to behave as a compression member. It produces good and elaborate calculations sheets.
Staad foundation is the best when it comes to foundation design.
But I prefer etabs to staad when it comes to RCC concrete design, because etabs produces more economical elements I noticed that on staad foundation, the minimum dimensions for a column footing is 1m by 1m whereas RCDC could go as low as 700mm. I also found the result of staad foundation to be different from that generated by the batch design mode of staad using plates and when I modeled a beam slab raft foundation. I wonder why the results are different. Any ideas? Also my staad foundation recently started acting up, I'd appreciate a link for another if you have one. If any part of what I talked about is unclear kindly let me know I would expantiate. Regards |

BAZ001: At this point you should have just begged or scope her a lil and let peace reign If ur video show internet dis season Uber no go like am and Internet never forgets Nah, I feel differently. There's no need to beg when she's called him stupid. He already begged at the beginning. She wanted an ego massage and I'm glad she didn't get one if things actually happened as narrated. If she posts the video, she has to post his full name fit it to stick. Also, if he's serious about having the video removed from the internet, it's doable. |

Everything is not about selling. We need to understand what’s happening in other locations to better appreciate our brothers and sisters who are making a big difference in our dearly beloved country.
There are 30m plots here even 500m+ but the vast majority of land on this side start from 200k Can you kindly share locations where lands from 200k can be gotten. |

hakeem4: ok, I would make video on that for you. But you can split the secondary beam over the primary. And in case rcdc has splited the primary. you can join members back.
just right click and you would see split brand Thanks man, please if you can use a drawing while making the video for better understanding. |

hakeem4: use a member load That would act on the beam directly, how do I reproduce that 'cantilever-like' loading of the concrete fascia? Which program do you use for your footing designs now, STAAD Foundation or RCDC? |

How do I represent the load coming on the beam carrying the concrete fascia on STAAD?

Mechanics96: 1. The answer is the difference between the sum of even numbers and the sum of odd numbers(whichever is greater). Hence; (5+5+7) -(2+10) = 17-12= 5. ☑️
2. Add vertically, the sum of each column is 14. So 14 - (2+4+4) = 4 ☑️
3. This one took my time... The sum of the preceding two terms minus 4 gives the next term. That's; 3+6 - 4 = 5 6+5 - 4 = 7 5+7 - 4 = 8... So, 11+15 - 4 = 22 ☑️ Thank you |

Oliran: I am sure the person ticked all what is required to get approval for you. However it is done in stages. From your description I am guessing it's a bungalow, I'll list the stages below.
Stage 1: Survey Architectural drawings
The survey is charted to be sure your land is free of Government acquisition, your drawing is vetted and ensure comply with the required setback, airspaces etc.
Stage 2: Someone from the district office will go for site visit to be sure of the size of land and confirm you've not started building if it is a proposed drawing.
Stage3: Calculations are done using your architectural drawings to calculate assessment, the amount is depending on the size of the building (Length,Breadth and Height), the rate also depends on the location, Lekki fee is not same as Ikorodu fee. Each LGA is categorized into Low, Medium and High density.
Stage4:
After payment is done, the receipt for payment, deed of Assignment for the land, Affidavit with stamp duty and your passports with your drawings is used to open a file for you, a registration number will be issued. The file is then forwarded to LIRS
Last Stage is the tax clearance stage.
I hope this helps. What if one has started building? |

PatrickOkunima: I may be wrong, but I understand pen-testing to be part of social engineering. Since you can't handle that, can you get me someone who can. It's an assignment, not really carrying out the test. It involves developing strategies and plans for penetrating a vulnerable company, and developing another plan to mitigate the actions of the tests. They're different but are both used to detect vulnerability. Pen-testing tries to find vulnerabilities on the network. Social engineering is geared towards individuals to make them reveal certain sensitive details etc. I can't handle pen-testing, hopefully you get someone who can. |
