hi

if cashcraft is bad as u people claim, don't the NSE list out honest and competent stockbroker for the public to consider?
Which regulatory body in Nigeria has ever done a thing like that? How many banks with bad customer service has been listed? How many bad telecom companies has been listed? How many rude, reckless and animal bus drivers and conductors has been listed by NURTW? The list goes on and on. Take the bold step and do it on our national newspapers.
BusinessWhich Nigerian Bank Has The Best Commercials? by Scopium(op): 1:36pm On Mar 13, 2008
Which Nigerian Bank Has The Best Commercials? In my opinion Bank PHB is the best. Man! their concepts are so off the map. As far as ads are concerned, with Bank PHB there is no COM let alone PETITION.If being successful is by ad alone then they DON'T have any rival at all. Which bank do you think is better or worse?

PropertiesIf You Have A Generator Pack Out! by Scopium(op): 7:16pm On Mar 11, 2008
I once heard that the ridiculous part of a story is always the truth. Can you imagine that a landlady actually issued out this ULTIMATUM to her tenants. Her reasonless reason is that they want to burn her house. Simple she doesn't want your progress in her house. The generators are kept well away from the house. If not for PHCN what will people be doing with generator. Rumour has it that she wants to squeeze in another cage in the name of a room where these generators are kept. God! It's just a malicious absurdity. Is this creature and her act something women in particular or the entire humanity should coexist with?

EducationJamb Online Registration Now N6000 Plus by Scopium(op): 12:00pm On Feb 28, 2008
I bought a JAMB scratch card for my younger brother and for the past 2 WEEKS Plus I've been trying to fill the form online. I even called the so-called Sidmach Technologies powering the JAMB portal and the stupid girl who picked the call had the criminal gut to A.N.N angry Y me the more by telling me that there was nothing wrong with the site from there end. She was so lucky because I would have strangled her over the phone with the telephone cord had it been I wasn't using a mobile phone.

How can somebody pay N3000 for JAMB scratch card and spend close to N3000 or more in cyber cafes trying to register one thing one thing. I'm still trying to register as I write. This Sidmach Technologies is not something the Stone Age Generation would have been proud of. I beg oo Nairaland, is their any faster way of filling the form online? By the way things are going a lot of people won't be able to register until 18th May 2008. Help! help! please help a brother!

Tayo-D:
@topic,

While I have read the first few pages of this thread, a lack of time restricts my going through all the pages, so I apologise if the points I will be making hereafter are already discussed.

Central to this debate is a determination of who owns the currency in our pockets. Once we determine who owns the paper, then we can begin to rub minds on what rights others, including the government have over our use or otherwise of the paper.

It is my understanding that after putting in my 40 hours of work in a week, what I get in return does not belong to anybody but me. What the government could lay claim to is what they've already deducted - taxes. So while the government has a share of my gross income, they government has no business with what I do with the Net because the money is MINE. In essence, this debate is all about determining how far the government clan legislate what I can do with my property which I own fair and square.

I would understand if the legislation is about the misuse of our roads and public utilities. These infrastructures are not mine. That is why I pay taxes, which is a fee for the services received through these public infrastructures.

Money is quite different. The government does not own the money, I do. The only money owned by the govt, is what it receives in the form of taxes. The money in my pocket is mine because I earned it, and I can do with it whatsoever I please including defecating on it. If you don't like what I do with it, you can reject it if I offer it to you as a gift or as an exchange for goods or services. And you know what, I can even burn the money for all I care. It is now my property and no one has a right to it until I offer it as gift or a means of exchange, after which I can no longer lay claim to the money. Until then, let the government or anyone for that matter stay out of my pocket.
Point of correction you earned it not own it. You don't even know where it is printed, how much it cost to print it, how much it cost to distribute it and all such statistics. Maybe you should start paying for the the naira you earn so that you can own it. If you make 50k, CBN being a profit oriented businessman will sell the naira to you for 80k that way you earn and own the naira in your pocket. And you can handle it anyhow even use it as manure in your garden but once your 80k stock of naira is finished you'll starve until you make more naira to buy more naira.

Just kidding up there. You should talk her first about your relationship and then about her friends so that you can know where her heart and loyalty really lies. Maybe also you can ask her to invite her friends to her place and you can go there and rub mind with them nicely in front of her. It might just be helpful.

RomanceRe: Can U Marry A Male Virgin by Scopium: 4:06pm On Dec 13, 2007
uspry1:
for me, NO i will not marry a male who is virgin!!! I do not have time to teach inexperienced virgin male to do this and do that in sexuality. It make me feel like he is 10 years old boy who ask TOO MUCH QUESTIONS on sexuality.

I have my knowledge of sexuality at early age through men's favorite magazines (you men all know what i talk about) that I found from hide in the wrong place, lol.

That was THE BIG ADVANTAGE for me reading the whole sexual forum articles on that magazines knowing what men like for women in sexuality. I know how to please man in sexuality only for marriage. Not for boyfriend---I won't do it exposing my broad knowledge of sexuality---STRICT FOR HUSBAND ONLY. grin grin
A guy being a virgin don't necessary mean he doesn't know jack about sex. Before I deflowered, I watched a lot of porn knew a lot of shit and talked a lot of dirt sometimes my peeps found it hard to believe I was a virgin. The only thing was, I was a little nervous the first time but 90% of the virgin guys can keep it under control like I did.
