Health8-limbed Girl Undergoes Successful Surgery by Scopium(op): 2:59pm On Nov 07, 2007
BANGALORE, India - Doctors in southern India completed a grueling 24-hour operation Wednesday on a girl born with four arms and four legs that surgeons said will give the 2-year-old a chance at a normal life.
The surgery went wonderfully well, this girl can now lead as good a life as anyone else.
Imagine being born with eight limbs. Natural human spider that is.

TravelLekki-Epe Motorists Are Heartless! by Scopium(op): 7:24am On Nov 07, 2007
Lekki-Epe motorist are so damn heartless. The worst culprits are the private motorists. They will never stop for pedestrians to cross the road unless they are about hitting somebody or scratching their fucking car. Especially in the morning when the roadside is flooded with pedestrians like overflowed river banks, these vermins can't brake unless the pedestrians risk their life trying to cross amidst oncoming vehicles. I have only seen one commercial bus driver that did it. I boarded the bus, the driver stopped at Jakande roundabout waved down the private vehicle on the other lane for pedestrians to cross. He repeated the same laudable feat at Jakande first gate. It's funny that the private vehicles have all kind of stickers proclaiming their false love, trust, fate, fear and respect for God on them yet they can't do good for just 10 seconds. Na only God go punish all of them, Amen! What is it like in your area? By the way, are you one of such motorists?

FashionMirror And Make-up: Women's Best Friend by Scopium(op): 4:23pm On Nov 06, 2007
Surveys says British women look in the mirror up to 71 times a day. That sounds like and understatement. 71?! Maybe they mean 710 times. Some other survey say it's 34 times a day.
They reapply their make-up 11 times a day, with 89 per cent of those questioned saying they carry a compact mirror in their handbags.

On average, males stand in front of the mirror 27 times a day. shocked

People aged 27 are the most image conscious - they scrutinise their looks an average 52 times a day.
Over 60s check just five times a day on average.
Imagine working manhours lost to mirror and make-up.
What do you think about this survey? Should the figure be higher, lower or is it correct?

PropertiesDemolition @ Jakande Estate: Over 50 Families Rendered Homeless! by Scopium(op): 9:12am On Nov 05, 2007
Demolition of illegal structures at Jakande estates Lekki roundabout on sunday 4th November 2007 left many homeless. The timing of the demoliton was impeccable. When the people of of God and satan has gone to church was when this act of heartless destruction took place. They won't allow people to rescue their belongings. The goons said they were recovering government land at such a devilish manner. Well, my deep heartfelt condolences to those affected. Now what fate await these affected people?
