NWC, APC leaders differ on voting guidelines

Meanwhile, the NWC and leaders of the APC in Lagos, yesterday, disagreed over the mode of voting to be adopted for today’s rescheduled primary.

The meeting, which was in two sessions at the party’s Secretariat, Acme, Ogba, lasted for several hours and ended about 8.55pm.

Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, the panel chairman, Mr. Ebri said:

“The primary will hold. For you to participate in the primary you have to be a member of the party and you have to have your membership card and your name must be on the register. If you don’t have a membership card and you have a slip and your name is on the register, you will vote.”

Councillors are puppets, just like Ward Chairman and his or her cabinet. It would have been easy for Ambode if he actually had the people on his side like Fashola did but 60 to 70% of Lagos voters are disappointed in his performance, when you now add the vote of no confidence by party leaders and Jagaban himself, I see no path for Ambode.

For those saying we want end to godfatherism, please who or what gave us Ambode? Who knew him before Tinubu imposed him on us? Fashola gave the blueprint of good governance while satisfying both the public and the wishes of hose who put him in power. Ambode disappointed in both areas.
