You said you had total of 25,000 in your Statement of Accounts ( Yours and your brother). Next question;

If yours and your brother in combine is 25k leaving out just 14k as Cost of living after balance of tuition , they will have issue with your sponsor survival…
Why will He want to empty His account to sponsor you because if both of your account total 14k, what will be of him ?
Maybe SOP was not properly stressed on his incomes and source of steady incomes…

Just my Opinion but wait for Gurus to address properly.

I will advise you pay full tuition this time and have the cost of living in your own account this time Or your sponsor should have more than you need in His account.

Long time my People. After Canada served me hot breakfast about a month ago, I couldn't accept that I sharply faced UK and I'm closer.
I got my refusal reason today and it was crazy. Yes I was going for an education program which they pointed out that I was going for a second degree blabla bla but every other thing writing in the refusal was rubbish. My father is my sponsor they said my mother. My father is retired but for years hes been a director at a major company in my state. I showed appointment letter,I showed them AGM minute for like 5 years. They are paid on schedules which I showed and I showed over 1 year bank statement showing the company continuous payment till date.
They said my mother will be using her retirement fund for an expensive study which is opposite of what I filled.
They said i didnt submit evidence of relationship to sponsor but i submitted birth cert and idcard of all family member and my father own separately again.
They said I didnt show personal statement to show money whereas I showed my own acct with over 5million and even transaction history in multi millions.
This people are just stupid.
I'm so angry right now I swear it would have been better if I didn't order this note coz this only increase my anger and determination. I will leave their Canada alone ' For now's and face the UK but I will be back for them,

UK test is different from Canada.
Canada test are Chest X-ray, HIV, syphilis, Vitals and Physical examination.

Sorry, which medicals do they require for canada study visa. I have seen so many canada applicants at IOM office ikeja when I was doing my TB test for uk medicals.

It’s Uk that conduct TB test.
Canada do not for study visa.

I actually tried the date overlap before posting here and still didnt work.Found out that you need to exclude any period you have stated as part of post education period in your employment history else you would get that error as well.its kinda weird as it suggests they expect all post secondary education to be full-time

To be fair to them they did state it on their page however somehow weirdly I didn't think that they actually meant what they stated coz it defied logic and practicality.Well,i removed the work experience period that overlapped with post secondary education and viola ,it moves on to next stage

Learnings is you have to choose which is omportant for your application i.e either your post Secondary education or any work period that overlaps with yhis.i left post Second education and shed off that part of work experience

What you posted here means you left March 2014 - April 2014 out.

Since you resigned in March like you stated, what were you doing before getting another in April ?
(1) Either you put another one ( Mar 2014 - April 2014 UNEMPLOYED)

Or you overlap the employment below as it applied to you;
(a) July 2009 - March 2014
(b) March 2014 - till date

Or

(a) July 2009 - April 2014
(b) April 2014 - till date

SOP- Re-adjust your SOP properly if you have more add, which you should have gathered more experience on this morning or things you never included earlier.

Reason; The VO that will attend to your case might be different this time. So to avoid another VO pointing out another excuse that was omitted by the previous one.

You don’t need to travel to another country before you can be consider for Canada…

Your SOP is the judgement.
Even someone that has traveled to many countries can be rejected based on purpose of visit and travel history.
SOP is the judgement…
If you’ve not gone anywhere, tell them and explain why you suddenly want to travel now and why you must come back.

I submitted in July and got a request for updated letter of admission and medicals in September which I did and had medicals passed in October but since then I haven’t heard anything back. I’m getting worried. The status of the additional document says “the additional documents provided has been uploaded “ and that’s it.

Even for a study Visa, You will state when you will likely leave your country and when you want to return too.

Nice observation. I only noticed that many seems are eager to try it knowing fully well that that have applied before and will want to try it, after he/she said in 2months, decision can be made. From my own observation, the path was brought up to facilitate family reunification as they termed it so that applications decisions can be made faster. I only observed it was for visit visa, used for people who applied before September 7 mostly SOWP and others who initially applied and would like to join their spouses and family fast fast.

I also noticed that it is super fast for visit visa and any application be it SOWP which was submitted with visiting visa. But when you apply separately for SOWP and others, it may not be that fast. Also noted that, even if you have applied before, you cant link it as it will be a new application and old application fee will be forfeited.

Now back to old days IRCC promises. Sometime ago, IRCC came with a promise that if Nigerians can follow NSE route, application will be decided in 20 days. Now what's the fate of that? Again, sometimes early this year, they came up with another promise that if we can submit complete application before May 15, decision will be made by August 6th to be able to resume class for Sept fall. Now we all know the outcome.

So my brothers and sisters, if you have applied before and because of desperation and anxiousness to receive decision, you want to apply through this one. know it that once you do, your old application will likely be withdrawn and no certainty that you will receive fast decision with it. That A did it and got fast decision doest mean if B should do it, he will receive the same fast decision. Don't throw away the time you have waited so far cos of this.

If you haven't applied before, you can use it. You're safe.

Also note that this path have already had many applications and if fast at the moment, may begin to slag as they will likely be paying attention to only visit Visa applicants. I even noted that wen applying for visiting visa through that link, you will state when you want to visit and when you will come back. You think they don't know why the specified it for visiting visa only. They are looking for who will come and boast their economy and not gain from it as you know that visitors spends and don't get from the nation.

This is just my humble observation and may be totally wrong oo. So please just relax ok.

I really don't think that's a problem.

I just copied from my resume and pasted on the space provided being mindful of the character limit of 100 for each employer.

I said it. I know it will be an issue for many people. I almost gave up too but I love solving problems.

Never leave a year out of the 10 years work experience they asked.
Let me use myself as an example;
1. Working with A ( Sept 2020 - till date)
2. Worked with B ( Jan 2019 - Sept 2020)
3. Worked with C (Sept 2017 - Jan 2019)
4. NYSC (April 2016 - April 2017) You can see there's a gap between my NYSC before my first job. Secret is You cannot leave any space blank. If you were jobless , tell them. If you were selling, tell them. Something must be there since time cannot be paused.

So what I later did was;
5. Unemployed (April 2017 - Sept 2017) So this will come in before the NYSC to show in between.
If you were in school during that 10 years too, Show it there and state it as Unemployed
I was in Uni from 2011 - 2015, so I stated the next this way;

6. Unemployed (Nov 2011 - April 2016)
Since the Uni has been stated ahead on the form.

That has covered the 10 years.
If you leave any month or year out of the 10 years they ask, It will always give ERROR.

I've checked the process out myself. It's actually cool as it eliminate the imm forms but soo complicated also.
The Employment History will give lot headaches to get through as I used up to 45mins before I found a way through.

My only issue with this new IRCC model is the 2MB limit.
Mehn, Using that will make lot of documents invincible trying to meet limit...
