He opened the thread on the day he got laid off. It means he was working until the very day (or hour) he was told to go home, of which he then created the thread we’re reading. Where in the world does someone’s account balance enter zero immediately they are handed a letter of resignation? If he has a family then it’s all the more reason he should have saved cash to last the full period and more. So, if he suffered a car accident it’s the same way he’ll lay at the scene posting a beg thread on Nairaland?

There are a lot of menial labourers working despite the lockdown. OP should go look for a construction site and lift breeze blocks all day. At the same time there is no way his savings ended one full hour after losing his job.

In this day and age everyone has savings. No matter how much they receive monthly they are able to keep a small percentage, if not for a rainy day then out of abundance. OP is trying his luck since Nairaland has turned to a non-investment piggy bank.

I stopped drinking a while ago so I can't relate. Sometimes I miss the taste of beer, but when I realize abstaining will make me live life to the best of my ability I endure through my decision.

From there it is cut off while the poor creature cries for its life and served up for the customer. The chefs and butchers are desensitized to animal screams of agony, to them it’s another in the office. Ways are implemented to make the animal stay alive for the longest time for more torture while it is eaten alive.

I'm surprised at how the casualty numbers have quadrupled in less than two weeks. I'm still on lockdown till further notice. Anybody ready to die should go back to work and daily outdoor activities.
