orgasticdance: as a close friend of one of MIC's nephews i'll tell u that those guys were successful because the were excellent at what they did. the same rule applies to most things in life. stop applying christian logic to something u know next to nothing about
Is this any different from what I wrote? Mr close friend on one of the nephews, nonsense. Do you wan to tell me that deep down in their hearts, they weren't wishing for more customers?

They made riches off other people's death, I can imagine how they constantly prayed for more people to die so that their business will grow. Now it's their turn.

PDPwayoo: This country is morally sick. After Japan tsunami, Cash worth billions of dollars was handed over to victims family and govt.
Billions of dollars? As in the money found in their pockets and houses were worth that?

rigormortis: 1. the dead don't spend dough, except maybe in nollywood

2. even if they do spend money in heaven, I assure you it wont be naira

3. the money from the victims was probably stolen from public funds, so it has gone right back to where it belongs

you want them to hand the money over to the police.......................niqqa please!

wake up and smell the coffin, coffee
You have a point though, even though people wouldn't see it from that angle if it had happened in Igbo land.

oyb: [s]What sort of pathetic excuses are these? None of you is disturbed with the way people are being stacked like dead animals or refuse? You have no idea how shameful it is? Or you do not realise everyone of those corpses was a person like you with dreams and aspirations?

Instead of silence there is idiocy, they were at sea. Mor-ons. Silence is golden if you have nothing smart to say. Or in your worldn accident victims are supposed to be stacked in tha back of pickup vehicles.

What is bad is bad. Stop this pathetic defense of the undefensible. Think about any of your loved ones being stacked like a piece of garbage[/s]
Your Mom and Dad are the Morons here. Take your own advice and keep quiet, if you can't post without insulting people. Idîot

berem: There's nothing outrageous about the money. The education sector needs proper funding. If our leaders can send their kids to foreign schools that are well funded, why should they not equally fund our own universities to meet up to international standard? The money required is small compared to the excessive looting going on in the presidency. angry
Those foreign schools are funded by the exorbitant fees they charge not the government. You aren't too smart, are you?

Kanwulia: No need to mention them!
We BOTH have arrived at the same conclusion!!!
Nigeria is not qualified for any form of break-up!

COWARD of the EAST or COWARD of the WEST, the SAME CURSED NIGERIAN COWARDS will only continue to LIVE AND DIE LIKE COWARDS!!!

Off to my sweeeet American job jare!

Proud to be an American, where at least I FEEL SAFE AND FREEEEEEE!!!!! cool

PoliticsRe: National Conference: "We’re Not Afraid Of Nigeria’s Break-up" – Northern Elders by sCun: 11:57pm On Oct 03, 2013
Gayigaskia: Let Nigeria brake up to form many oil rich countries in the south south ; like equatorial guinee with dictactors like the obiang family or Gabon like the Bongo family. One thing is for sure the north will come out bigger and stronger and more united. Honestly do you think James Ibori will have step down as governor of Delta after his second term if Delta was a country? No i don' t think so .

Talk about the region that has produced the most dictators and looters in Nigeria; Abacha, Babangida and the rest
PoliticsRe: National Conference: "We’re Not Afraid Of Nigeria’s Break-up" – Northern Elders by sCun:
geeez: The only people who should afraid already know themselves. The same people whose region offers no incentive that they have to go out of it to make any meaning of their lives

I don't think the North has anything to be afraid of really

As it stands today, a number of states in the north are more viable, with a higher IGR and GDP than a good number of states in the south

There's also an abundance of mineral resources in that part of the country with a landmass that will make a good number of countries go green with envy

They also have the capital and capacity to attract impressive investment

Kaduna, Kano and even Katsina for instance can only be beaten by Lagos, Oyo, Ogun and perhaps Abia in southern Nigeria in terms of industries

The north has an enormous potential and should there be a balkanization of this country, they won't be the poorest.

All they need to do is invest in human capacity development and they can be the biggest country in Africa

Only myopic and shallow minds will think oil is a valuable resource that a country can build it's future on, in this day and age
You mentioned that the north has a lot of mineral resources then went ahead to say oil is not a valuable resource, is oil any different from minerals? As for human capacity it will take years to develop the human capacity in the north, they have the worst standard of education and the worst literacy level in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Ali Baba And His 27 Thieves In Imo State (part One) by sCun: 11:39pm On Oct 03, 2013
The article was making sense to me until I read the ending part where they demanded for the 10 000 sacked ''civil servants'' to be re-instated. I mean we all know, that those people were appointed as the last desperate move by Ohakim when he knew that he had lost the support of the people, those appointments were done right on the brink of the elections. Even Ohakim himself would have sacked them had he been re-elected, they were purely political appointments by him. How did people expect Rochas to carry the burden for such appointments?
PoliticsRe: PHOTO: Nigeria Accident Victims VS. American Accident Victims by sCun: 11:10pm On Oct 03, 2013
At least those who survived the plane crash were not killed by Ambulance unlike what happened in the US earlier this year where an ambulance crushed someone who had managed to survive the crash.

stebell: @ OP, even wit out yu saying anytin, we kno hw tins work here and there. look at both pix and yu will see de difference. it takes an ambulance in Naija almost an hr to get to an accident scene whereas, it takes jus 3mins(5mins tops) for most foreign countries emergency unit to arrive at a scene. rest in piece to de Death

First that is not America but Italy where some illegal immigrants drowned in a boat.
Secondly, their body was recovered from the sea and was still fresh while the Nigerians were recovered from a burnt vehicle on a remote road.

This is absolutely a hard moment for we Ondo State people. A lot of us were already at the Democracy Park in Akure awaiting the arrival of the corpse before the news of this disaster came in.

I pray that the God heal the survivors of this crash quickly and that my good God should should lower the hands of evil in my dear country. crycry[/s]
