And that brings us to sayin that no man's intergrity is water tight and that men whose reputations lived were just lucky that there secret compromises were never discovered, |
I have once opined in my philosophy that all men are bad. That men are only good when they do good and are seen as bad when they do bad to the same men to whom they did good. Consider another element in this scenario: an activist says while making a speech that he can give his life to ensure that justice is done and suddenly gun shots are heard all over the arena. Would he for the sake of being an activist not scamper for safety? And if he does, does that change his activist inclinations? People dont realize the "human" in humans. |
@Bluetooth I meant 13 years! cuz dats wen we're gonna start havin UPS. U've got to start before u celebrate. Got it now? |

This is more philosophical than political. It is understandable that people expect the critics and radicals to be unreservedly dogged and rugged and as such must not acquiesce to the whims of unpopular governance . The masses refuse to take cognizance of the "human" aspect of these individuals havin developed personality cult for them. They neglect the relative subjectivity and volatility of human idiosyncracy and are dissapointed when these men exhibit such human compromises. |
@na-so It is understandably laughable for GEJ to be expected to change in few months because we nigerians are used to protracted administrative inefficiency. Here, the intention, actions and policies are the bones of contention as his swearing in speech and manifesto are a far cry to reality, If really he is committed, we shud have witnessed reasonable changes in the country's policy, political institutions, anti-graft agencies and social and welfare amenities. He'stagnant in actions and full of indecision. |
@na-so i actually responded to this particular post nt being aware of his previous connotations and i thank u 4 alertin me. All the same am presently unconcerned with the pdp candidacy of 2011 but deeply concerned abt the present maladministration by Goodluck jonathan. He needs to step up and take infrastructural development in the nigerdelta seriously |
13 yrs is too short for dis to happen. |
First of all, i'd like to commend the poster for his insight and also condem those who have disparaged this post; because they're blind and shallow minded and if i read the post correctly, the poster said nothin of ibb. Why then would u numbskulls say he is supportin him? Indeed GEJ has nothin, absolutely nothin to offer. I heard some of u eulogizin him when he came to power but now its clear u all were wrong. Look at the niger delta in a mess: no infrastructural development, the south-east: beacon of insecurity. Nw his concerns are centered on his return. What manner of leadership ineptitude is this? |
The ladies actually ask me how i satisfy my strawberry and i tell dem lies to their fantacy and they beg me to 4uck them |
I meant "Wat d 4uck" |
@my ealier post, i meant "wat d f.uck!" Moderators, stop this! Hw will someone get d meaning of " wat d be intimate" there better ways to do ur job! |
@bachangel, u're a fo.ol! I can't believe an outcast like u can open ur unbrushed set of teeth from London or wherever the hell u're. Do Nigeria and London share any resemblance? How dare u say one is unintelligent? Wat d f**k are u studying there? Let me challenge u. C.U or U.C whatever u numbskulls call it has no generally accepted degree valuation system. And since it is discrepant, it has no modicum of comparative superiority. Let me inform u depending on ur age, that mst of the nigerians who studied abroad in the seventies were unable to pass jamb. Today, a lot of the babies in private universities did not pass jamb and thus were unable to secure admission into the public universities. Ignoramus! |
Babbling mum's kids! |
I was initially pertubed by the projective attitude of the poster who rather should have been informative. I may tender my acquiescence to the reasoning that the inconsistencies in public universities should not be blindly and irrationally upheld. However am obstinate with my reservations against self-acclaimed superiority by private university ambassadors. Such melodramatic projections of standards are counterproductive and could culminate in further alienation of private universities. Succinctly, they should be more productive rather than being projective. |
Enough of this Abiola bullshi.t! Yes he won the election but that doesn't mean he's a saint. Rememba he was corrupt. Is he the only one that was murdered in the military regime? Whats this fuss about immortalizing him? All of u should divert ur attention to the livin and forget the dead. He was never a president neither did he have time to contribute to our democracy. Even whatever u think he deserves is equally deserved by his opponent Bashir tofa. He just contested and won an annulled election. Get busy! |
I nid french if it is 1000 |
It doesn't end with us tryin to impact on the society but until these private university megalomaniacs understand the discrepant skews in the value system of their degrees. Their standards are quite quixotic and do not integrate into overall degree value system. Also, u must attest to the dexterity of the lecturers in public universities who except for their nefarious and witch hunting attitude are incomparable to those in private universities. Such lack of standards in private universities, they tend to offset with pecuniary superiority and ostentatious display of frivolities. |
Sychophants! |
He's a Godforsaken saboteur of the igbos. Does that mean the igbos lack leaders with courage? He is as dumb as his looks! |
Am havin palpitations inceasantly afta bein diagonised with generalized Anxiety Disorder. |
@dominique u say have they died? Bt they are still unable to find d causes of their flu and cancer. Nt sayin poster is right but give it a second thought. Just like fresh vs tin tomato, fresh fish vs sardine, fresh orange fruit vs canned juice which is beta? |
Tel ur friend to go and nt sin again! He cant contract hiv like dat. But dnt suck again cuz the next cud hv bre@st milk or sore. Sum1 said he shud find a gf. Interestingly gfs are d most risky nowadays. Protect urself. |
I meant he's tastin american vag.i.na |
Poster listen to what chopie2 said. Ur man is tryin 2 be african an typically igbo in nature. I'll advice u guys to get married soon and have children. As such hold him down. If he had no green card, i'd have said u have an upper hand but anything else, he's just tasting american Kitty-Cat. |
O boy long nails 4 a guy? May be he's got ten sisters. That is gayish! |
@xynerize u're f.ucked up! So becos u think u've made little cheese, there's no mamaput again. Hav u 4gotten wen u eat mamaput? thats if u're nt stil eating mamaput. Onye okomoko! @OP d gal may nt really like u cuz mst gals wil wanna go out wit their new guy. Luk around, there are other girls who nid u |
Stop collectin the money and start given her. Stop sleeping with her and wen she talks abt marriage, tel her u're gettin married in the next ten years cuz u wana make money. Bt wait a sec, u said she's dark and ugly. I assure u dat by d time anoda man wil get hold of her, u'll start admirin her and she'll detest u to d last. U luv her bt u dnt knw it. Think again o. U can manage her; dats d meanin of love and marriage. Bt if u stil dnt want her, do wat i told u. Dat shud gt her searchin |
Dis goodluck of a president shud not rescind the decision o. Theives! |
My dear, i really understand ur travail. I think ur problem is comin 4rm dissatisfaction with guy B. If u are true to urself, what is d reason 4 ur dissatifaction? Is he ugly or maybe nt that handsome in appearance becos i think it cud be his appearance that is d problem. Maybe, u're uncomfortable with the too much love and u think he's buggin u. Plz think again. |
Nw it doesnt jst take ur certificate to get a job. U need to be connected. U know that my guy. I finished my nysc last year and am still searchin. Well i applaud the fact that private universities help to solve our educational problems and dats good. But when they come up with such quixotic standards then they're awakenin the eyebrows of the hunter. I have a friend who is a 1st class graduate of a private university. He is truly intelligent but not like the renowned genius u need to be before u bag first class in a public university. |
@darqly and darkey its obvious that u dudes have resorted to unobjective analysis of issues because u're all graduates of covenant universities. U cease to admit that ur jobs are a function of ur families' connection. U know what it takes to get a job. About accounting and auditing firms takin mostly graduates of CU. Have u forgotten that ICAN has just signed a MOU so that u dudes will be taking ican while in school. Face it, most of d first class dudes in CU arent worth it. Its just like comparing london GCE with WAEC. Wait, did u guys bag 1st class too? |
