Guys read d heading wella b4 unah start tearing d legend apart. "Mikel is part of our problems" not Mikel is the main or real the problem. Looking critically he's very correct cos at chelsea its like to whom much is given much more is expected cos this team is huge investment. Mikel suppose rise up to the occasion when the likes of fabreagas, matic, Oscar and ramires are performing poorly. For he ought to seize this chance just what William is doing right now. Well mou is the main problem cos he allowed all major replacement to leave at the season beginning depends to much on hazard and Costa as well as fabreagas

This is a very stu.pid mentality.

Obviously you have no idea of what I'm talking about. If you don't understand something you shut your mouth instead of saying rubbish.

What if MTN has a hefty turnover in Nigeria? Aren't they offering a form of service? If you sell a box of chocolate to every Nigerian with a profit of N1 do you know how much profit you'll make overall? Have you in any form erred?

If you'd said MTN's services are poor and expensive, that's a different matter and it's valid. I don't like MTN anymore than the average Nigerian but we have to be sensible in what we say.

If you feel NCC hasn't done much to punish MTN for the poor services they've offered, fine. I agree. Those guys have been passive and inept for a long time.

However, their latest move to remove the base lowest price for data subscription is a good move as it'll encourage competition and force telecomms coys to bring down data price.

However the reactions to the news aren't as intelligent nor sensible as one would fathom. You're probably one of those teenagers who can't read separate your perceptions and deductions from your prejudiced emotions.

Read and understand. Then comment.
Well, you are contradicting yourself about this issue. I ain't talking about mtn alone but all the mobile operators but I just sited mtn highhandedness as an example. What has this ncc been doing all this while when Nigerian had been paying exorbitantly for poor services from mobile operators and yet support this costly and poor services with benchmark price. So, it's about ncc not standing up to their responsibility earlier by regulating this guys which clearly portays shady deal and corruption on their part. This is what most Nigerian you called juveniles were saying.

It's really disheartening to read the comments on this thread. This actually means that the average Nigerians is lazy, insecure and probably has an IQ of less than 60.

The move by NCC is a good one as the competition between the telecoms company is more pronounced nowadays. Removal of the "data floor price" will definitely make data subscription competition more intense, hence cheaper plans -which is favorable for the
masses. NCC also says it's willing to impose it again if things don't turn out as they should.

In my opinion, this is good news. I don't know why most people will jump to unintelligent conclusions and utter stupid things. Most of the first and second pages of this thread are filled with disjointed comments and prejudiced rantings that begs the understanding of the subject matter.

If we as Nigerians can't be civilized and sensible then there's nothing the government can do to change the nation for the better.

1 kobo.
Bros I feel u are the one here that couldn't relate with what the true Nigerian are talking about. Have you consider finding out Mtn turnover in terms of profit over the past years while this same NCC were looking at the other way. This price control is in collaboration with those operators to

@ op religion was able to find ways into our daily activities cos of the failed system that we call government. A government that couldn't provide good roads, standard transportation network, no credible transport alternatives, no standard auto inspection institutions and that's why religion became highly celebrated in nigeria. The day government rise up to its responsibility will be the day craze for religion die natural death in Nigeria. All these are just mere n easy things for people that run serious government.

CultureRe: Some Similarities Between Ijaw , Urhobo And Itsekiri by sean079: 4:53am On Sep 06, 2015
stpat1:
1. They all love Woman : An Average Urhobo , Ijaw and Itsekiri man loves women, You hardly see them getting married to one wife… I.e polygamous Family

This is correct to a large extent and that is because there is an abundant supply of alcohol coupled with the cold terrain. So what do you expect.

2. Wealth : Apart from oil been located in our land, An Average Urhobo , Ijaw and Itsekiri man is rich, if the ijaws re nt fishing the Urhobo's and Itsekiri are Farming, you hardly see them suffering.

I strongly disagree with you, If you have circumnavigated the most of their communities, you will be amazed at the rate of poverty and suffering amongst the people even though they are surrounded by so much opportunities that come with Oil.

3. Accommodating : we are all accommodating, Have you met with any typical Ijaw , Urhobo or Itsekiri man b4, How was his behavior towards you ?, they love strangers and hardly do you hear them maltreating any body.

This is also untrue. Naturally, Ijaw are hostile, unaccommodating and cantankerous. They seem to want to take everything by force and see strangers in their communities as a threat to their livelihood. Same to some extend are the Urhobo's but the Itsekiris are more accommodating, but I can relate this to the fact that they are more educated and have lower population strength.

4. Funny : Well don't need to emphasis more on this, If you see us alone , You already started laughing, 60% of Nigeria Comedian are either ( Urhobo , Ijaw or Itsekiri)

I agree with you on this. Though if you have been through what these peeps have been through, then you will understand why they are so humorous. What you see as jokes elsewhere are stark realities in their communities.

5. They are not lazy : Hmmmmm, don't Bleep with the big Three's , they are very strong.

Hmmm I don't want to be categorical on this, but in most of the Ijaw and urhobo communities (I don't mean the few privileged ones), most of the hard labour are being done by their women. When you transverse the waters, farm lands, creeks in these communities you will agree with me. I have not lived in the Itsekiri community enough to be able to draw a logical conclusion.

6 . Culture : They all have similar culture

I agree with you to a large extent. Their cultures have been entwined by years of communal living and close proximity. Especially influenced by similar terrain. So yes I agree.

7. Well Educated

Fallacy. It's fallacious for you to state that they are well educated. I will rather you put it that the level of education amongst the populace of these communities is growing. How dare you try to obfuscate the readers concerning the reality on ground in those communities. The Itsekiris are more educated that the other 2 communities, followed by the urhobos and then the Ijaws come a distant third. Numerically comparing the few educated ones with the uneducated lot, The general populace CANNOT be term "WELL EDUCATED".

8. They love alcohol

Yes, The Ijaws and the Urhobos love alcohol. As I said earlier, I have not resided long enough with the Itsekiris to draw a logical conclusion on this about them. The reason for their love for alcohol is not far fetched. They are close to the water bodies which make the environment cold, they need to be fired up to be able to carry out their fishing activities well, the local alcohol comes cheap and it is readily available due to the the abundant availability of raw materials.
Ure correct about high percentage of ijaw n irhobo men as very timid n lazy. I really respect the hardworking n industrious spirit of their women folks. Same with isoko men. An instances of this is gej n his wife. I wish the men in those areas will emulate the kind spirit that their women possess

Extensive interviews with officials of NNPC and industry operators revealed that contrary to the perception that has been created for some time that the nation’s four refineries were operating at suboptimal capacity, thus necessitating the massive importation of petroleum products, certain elements within the system, with endorsement of the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, ensured that the refineries were starved of crude oil.

That's why Abacha, Obj, Yarauda imported fuel, because GEJ and Diezani wanted to pay subsidy on their behalf. I'm certain Juve will win this trophy.
The question is why must casillas play every match even when it's clear he's no longer the Man we know?
And the defense is awful poor!

Make R7 a striker next season, buy a quality defender, sell Bale or play him on the left, get another deadly winger.
Do this and Madrid will be on fire!

The most unfortunate thing is the injury to Modric. Probably the best midfielder in the world!
Many of these games would have had different outcomes with such a maestro controlling the game.

Those criticising CR7 must understand that he is the most reliable goal scorer in the team.
When he drops back to try create play, all he gets are teammates who can't convert simple chances he creates eg the Bale header. Very similar to the messi situation where messi got marked out of many big games before Suarez came along.

Aside Cr7 the attack is toothless.
Benz becomes an handicap after 50 minutes. Lol.
Bale is clueless most times and should really be played on the left to get his best performance.

Ancelotti messed up the season anyways with his non rotation policy which created many injuries.
Is Ilarramendi really so poor that you had to even play Ramos in midfield?
u analyzed d whole situatn very well but got it wrong where u critizes bale. remember dis guys played similar pattern last season d problem was d injury to modric n bale dis season. dat frontline with cr7, benzema n bale for me is still d leathal weapon
