sweetrace: I work for myself and experience has taught me that the president is absolutely right. Have you tried employing some of the youth before So many are not ready to work.
As for the farming there are so many banks ready to finance that. Land is the biggest deal here. You work for yourself right? those guys working for you, how much do u pay them as salary? Let me tell you this!! any job in that country that the starting salary is below 50k aint job to stress about because i know for sure that you too will reject it if you are sincere with yourself. I always weep anytime i pass by and i see young people hawking items along the highways cos these are young souls that need to be engage in meaningful prospect with good salary reward but everyday are wasting away. There was a thread about a young soul selling pure water in ABU, will you call that lazy? do u know how many youth are leaving this country on daily basis to do demeaning job in Europe cos of the good salary reward over-there? well u can go confirm that at the airport |

Just like someone pointed out, up north is enough for Fulani to raise their cattle. I've lived in far north close to Chad i.e. Zurmi and apart from availability of unused vast land, I observe that there were plenty and abundant harvest of crops like beans, rice, maize, sorghum especially tomatoes wasting during its season. How come common feed grass cannot be farmed and stored to cater for this cattle in dry season. Even their camel and donkey were fed with store left over harvested maize and sorghum chaff. There is more to this nomadic farming lifestyle. I believe it's a grand plan to a calculated end. |

GavelSlam: Free news is limited news.
That's not to say it is bad but you must realise that is indirect censorship as the news is mostly nationalistic.
In UK you get the Metro and Evening Standard free newspapers which can only give you news of limited scope. Its limited but that formed the basics or background information that individual will consume that particular day. Some might even be satisfy with dat information alone. My point is get to them before sahara reporter, nairaland or nnamdi kanu spread their own information |

GavelSlam: Good since Nigeria is not China what concept are you then trying to follow?
This is the Nigerian model.
As long as Nigerians prefer to tell bold-faced lies about everything and anything then the government reserves the right to censor fake news.
Only now would you realise technology can also be used to censor technology. Why are citing china which is communist state as an example. It still bother me how guys like u, buhari, tinubu n co still use 10th century mentality to lead people in 21st century. Who do you think is in control of cnn n bbc which are top notch media outfit. Now i give u example how finland control what their people listen to. Everyday in finland, there is free newspaper found almost everywhere especially in busy areas where people can get news at tips of their fingers. |

neoapocalypse: Odd is on Algeria to win today's game. I hope Zambia wins because Nigeria has outstanding home game with Zambia. If Algeria wins then Nigeria will need away draw against cameroun or Algeria. But in all qualifications is already in the bag.
Check very well again , Zambia and Algeria have an outstanding match ( which will come up tomorrow ) assuming either of them wins tomorrow the team which wins will have 4 points , hope you get it to this point. Now if we win one more match and lose 2 from our remaining matches , we will end with 12 points , if the team that wins tomorrow goes ahead to win their remaining 3 games after tomorrow that team will be on 13 points and they will qualify. I don't think I can get any clearer than this. |

TrumporIdie: In a world where the demand for sex is high, where men walk about with an erection, I believe runs girls and prostitutes are easing the tension in the heads of sex starved and high libido men, they are meeting a need.
A runs girl is a hustler, she is earning a living by donating her body to hungry wolves who have lost their ability to control their sexual urge, she is paid for this donation. If she has class, she makes good money, she is able to pay her way through school, start a business, take care of her demanding family and all that. it's morally wrong to have sex for money, but so many other things are morally wrong, but we still engage in them, like fornication, adultery, lying, cussing and lots more.
we should stop condemning them, we should always advise them to always use protection. Men are the fastest to call them names, the same men who cant do without them .
enough said Anyhow u try to explain it, those ladies are making money from what they like doing always i.e hobby . sex is hobby to them and cant do without it. U cant separate messi from football., so weather money or not they must do it. |

kissGuys: ...please read carefully...
i am still very young.. in my late teens now...the last out of six siblings...done with secondary school....bt couldn't further because of finance....
right now tho...the last thing on my mind is furthering my education ...thing is...i see it as a waste of time and money...even though i intend going back...bt that will be when i have made some cool cash...
so...for at least two years since i rapped up secondary school...i have been working as a sales person for people...with few ups and downs once in a while...
then...the opportunity to join the Nigerian police came...right at the peak of a frustrating time...so i thought less before registering for constable cadre....went through all the processes...and now am selected...#do note that i did this with little or no help from anyone...so i think the selection this time is on merit#
bt the problem now is that...i have a bigger dream...i intend going into business if my brother will help...the NPF..tho is good bt..then wont give me the financial buttress that i aim for...
their salary scale is quite poor...imagine making sales of eighty thousand naira in 3days for my present boss...thats like the salary of an inspector...and we all know how long it takes to get to this rank....17 to 20 yrs.. just to be paid that amount...its quite dis-heartening... i blv starting a business will be more fruitful than joining the force...
bt on the other hand...i have no serious capital to start a business and i dont know if my brothers will be willing to support me financially...am quite skeptical about that...
so thats were the confusion sets in...i might reject the offer and my brothers may later disappoint me...i might take the job...bt will not be fulfilled knowing i would have been making much more money doing business.....
pls what is the best thing to do on this issue ?? am terribly confused Bro, u av 3 task at hand u need take serious. Ur education, business sagacity n police job. Now note dat u can rise fast to the rank of officer in few years if u incorporate ur academic qualification into ur rank n file police status. So i will advice u go back to school n get degree in any crime or political studies or any course dat av relationship to police job. U Being in d system already will get u selected easily for officer course . Ensure u use ur spare tym to do what u like n dats ur business. Dis is d way to go n u can achieve ur dream if ure determine n diligent. |

Seriously u guys were happy with the China trip and all the things they promised now to rectify it as a law u now complain
Majority of this is not a loan as we know it... China and the rest will identify a project build it operate it for an agreed time frame and hand over... so we won't have an increased debt servicing. .. the others from the world bank have a grace period of 5 years and very low interest rates.. . By then our economy would have stabilised and taxing would be more effective so we should have a revenue of close to $100bn dollars per year so it wont be a problem
This is how u guys stopped Jonathan from removing subsidy then. .. Now we have ended up at the same point buying fuel and 145.. How wise is that
All the professors of economics we have it is ur petrotic responsibility to break this down for the common man. . Out news news won't even look for such people. . Instead will look for people who know nothing about economy

Explorers: 5. Rwandan Genocide.
The Rwandan genocide was the well-planned ethnic cleansing and massacre of 800,000 Tutsis and “moderate” Hutus in Rwanda. The genocide, which began on April 6, 1994, was orchestrated by Hutu tribesmen, who not only attacked the Tutsis, but also any of their own tribesmen who protected them. The genocide had been in the works since at least 1992, when the Belgian ambassador to Rwanda warned that the Hutus were preparing for an ethnic cleansing. Another Belgian, Professor Filip Reyntjens, also appeared before the Belgian senate and warned that the Hutus were operating death squads. He even mentioned one of their leaders as Rwandan Army Colonel Theoneste Bagasora, who would later command the genocide. In January 1994, the commander of UN troops in Rwanda, General Romeo Dallaire from Belgium, also sent a fax, now known as the “genocide fax,”to the UN, wanring that the Hutus had plans to wipe out the Tutsis. He requested more troops and permission to attack a Hutu arms cache. The UN turned down his requests and instead told him to inform the Rwandan government, which was filled with the same people planning the genocide. That same month, Dallaire seized an arms cache, which was placed in custody of United Nations and Rwandan troops the same Rwandan troops who were training the rebels who perpetrated the genocide. Genocide was as a result of the power tussle btw the tutsi tribe outside rwanda n the ruling hutus.those tutsi outside rwanda just sacrificed thier brothers lives in rwanda to gain political power. |

RedCapChief: You are wrong. The matter of subsidy removal was never about how the money was going to be spent. APC just seized the moment to whip the masses into a frenzy. People simply didn't understand why we should pay more for petrol in a country that has crude oil, and nobody wanted to hear anything. Even the cerebral Fashola advocated for a reduction in pump price since the price of crude oil had gone down. Now he is in government, he has gone silent.
me opposing it then was cos of management. Maybe u can outline what jona achieved from the partial savings he did. Even surep chairman had to resign cos of too much corruption. Buhari already mapped out infrasture revamp as main things his govt will focus on. N i still av much trust in him dan jona. |

The position I formally took was against subsidy removal. Doing away with such a scheme was actually the right thing to do. but lack of trust for the past goverment made a lot of Nigerians protest against such a move. Why nigerian rose against the removal then was because everybody already knew that jona led govt wont be able to put the generated fund into good use. Likewise everyone could see how the govt was known for extravagant as well as lavish lifestyle by the officials hence why nigerian were at least we going to av little benefit .also note that he never prosecute any of his officials that were caught in corrupt practices.by the way u cant trust such individual with huge fund. I hope buhari n his entire crew can be trusted to use the fund judiciuosly |
