Lagos did not join Oodua Group because the Yoruba nationalists regard it as Non Yoruba. The Oba of Benin knows this.

@ seanet, Eko is a Benin word. The name Lagos was given to Eko by the Portugese. Even Yoruba nationalists will tell you that Lagos is Aworiland.
