It was OBJ that ammend the constitution that gave birth to state electoral commissions and this is because he wanted to get the 2nd term ticket in PDP. And that is part of the conditions the state governors gave him.
So how can you say there's never LGA election in Anambra before Obi?

Obi conducted LGA election once and that was few months to the end of his 8 years as Governor of Anambra state

Law should be passed, and any government or government officials who did not do well should be ineligible for reelection.

You don't need a law for this, there is a reason for election every 4 years and there is also right to contest except someone who was convicted in the last 10 years.
Any Government you think is not working to your expectation mobilise against such person/people during the election.
You can start this from your LGA and State.

Emotional people here were just talking rubbish. The case will end up to supreme court. Obaseki's faction will lose the appeal but may win at supreme and their plans would have worked then. Going to the court will make many key supporters and even followers to have double mindset and other party, expecially Apc will capitalize on it to win some or most of the supporters to their side. Politics is just like mathematics. Calculation and permutation can't be taken for granted.
