I started reading the comments o, naso most of dem started saying the money isNOTHING in Nigeria and can’t do nada on the building, you will think most of them are millionaires but if you run background check on them, most of dem are salary earners of less down 100k .. now a particular guy commented , I personally know him , this is a guy earning 30k working in one hotel i lodged last year dec , he’s living with his married uncle living in two rooms face me I face you , found out he also finished from my school , we talked about life and we exchanged contact that day o cos he helped me get some stuff that day and I discovered he’s a nairalander.


This guy was talking about how he’s spent so much on his 5 bedrooms flat and it’s yet to complete, brother I was rolling on the floor yesterday , he’s telling the guy that his 7 million is nothing . Bro this is someone earning 30k working in hotel . Maybe he forgot someone like me was on the thread. I already put 200k as extra expensive. And that should cover sands , 14k per tipper, 12 tippers is more than enough for everything ,
And yes price changes, 12 mm last year was 4k, now it’s 4400, shingles step tiles was 3250 last year now it’s 4200..
It’s better to build it now with whatever you have . And in future , if you hit it big, you can build mansion in banana island and travel go yankee like say u Dey go Lagos , Taking blind risk these days and things don’t turn out as expected fit lead to depression ..

By the way , in this kind economy for you to have two lands and 7m, you try , try to expand more on the husle that pays your bill, honestly abroad is not a big deal. It’s always easy on paper , and it’s harder if you don’t have anyone over there to put you through the system . No matter how smart you are, you will start off like a stranger in a strange land .. 7m will take 3bedroom flat to 85 % completion, it’s better to lose the opportunity of traveling to abroad now and have a house to fall back to, then go take blind risk and loose it all. If you’ve built the house, you can then travel with your new savings and if worse comes shove, you always have roof over your head.


Cements was 2000 2 years ago, now it’s 4500..

I have a friend that roof his house with 2m two years ago, today it will cost atleast 5m. What does that tell you? Some Americans don’t have 5k$ savings at the end of the year , but you have over 10k$ bro, infact you’re better than 80 of Nigerians
