Politics / Re: Top 5 Ethnicities In The South East by slivertongue: 11:53pm On Apr 21
"You've a disgusting hatred towards both Hausas and Fulanis or to say Islam, this is glaringly obvious. It's pathetic. Sorry."

This is how you started. Hausa, Islam and Fulani ain't the same. Like I said earlier, they are different and should be interrogated differently. There are Hausas and Fulanis of other Faiths, and not all Muslims are Hausas or Fulanis. The mistake most people do is to use one for all.

"There is no point educating you about Shehu Uthman Danfodio. If you lack a basic comprehension of a simple geographical and historical issues, I doubt if you can understand that one."

Another salvo you fired at my mention. There was Islam in Northern and Yorubaland long before Uthman Dan Fodio was born. Atleast Fodio wasn't born in the 11th, 14th or 16th century. Dan Fodio was an ethnic purist as seen in his actions. His Jihad saw to the elimination of Hausa Kings and their household but elevated foreigners - his kinsmen to the traditional stool of another ethnic group. How is it possible that amongst the Hausa people that sided with his religious teachings none was found worthy to lead the Emirates he created, even Bauchi Emirate which was said to have gone to a non Fulani drew protests. What makes an ethnic group more godly than the other? Isn't his actions which has survived till today colonialism in the guise of religion? I understand the fact that most of you folks don't want a spot on, on him for the sake of the Faith. But the ethnic imperialism cum his Jihad ain't really rocket science for me to comprehend.

"but if you don't know that there were indigenous Fulanis in Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, and zamfara, among others, then I'm afraid you're not the person you desperately want us to believe you are."

The Fulanis came to those areas hundreds of years after the arrival of Hausas as a 'come and go' herding groups. Very few stayed behind. They are not autochthons, they effectively became indigenes of those areas after the Fulani Jihad. Can you school me on the kingdom they controlled in Hausaland in the days of say, Idris Alooma of Kanem Bornu?

Well you been driving in circles. And your attempt to label my take the position of a stranger is unfortunate and of no importance to this discourse. I also deliberately refused to muddle up my take with issues not relevant to the area under focus. I stated clearly that Adamawa is derived from a Fulani source ie a Fulani name but the Fulanis ain't majority there and that's is what led you mentioning my comment.

"Adamawa Emirate founded by Modibbo Adama in 1800s".

Thank you for stating the obvious that Adama Modibbo Emirate came on in 1800's, of course that's within the period of the Jihad. So weren't there people there before that time? Did the Jihad conquer Fulanis or trees and mountains? No!! it conquered people, autochthonous ethnic groups living there for centuries. I don't remember saying Fulanis are older than Hausas in Nigeria, I opined that even the Hausas migrated into Nigeria and the interminglings led to the loss of native tongues especially with advent of Islam hundreds of years before the Fulani Jihad.

"Check my earlier post on Kwararrafa, Nupe, and Kanem Bornu, I pointed out earlier that there was no trace of Fulanis in those kingdoms, I don't know what brought about claiming "majority status". I maintained that the Kwararrafa was the Jukun part of Taraba and Benue, has anybody to this very day told you otherwise?"

I also opined that the was no kingdoms ruled by Fulanis in 1600 and what existed was Kwararafa, Nupe and Kanem Bornu, and they had little or no Hausa and Fulani in their midst. If Fulanis didn't exist there and had no control of the affairs there, how come they have kingdoms in these places today? And the answer is simply that these kingdoms are a product of the Fulani Jihad. But even with that the indigenous people weren't all killed or dislodged by the invaders neither did they the invaders outnumber them in population, the natives were only out gunned so they accepted the forced rulership of the minority.

" Who were the original inhabitants of Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Lamurde, Mayo-Belwa, and Mubi (both north and south), among others? Jukun, maybe."

The question to be answered by you is, who inhabited those areas before Adama's Kingdom came on board in 1800's. Are they the same inhabitants as seen today? If there was a Fulani Jihad who was it against? Again the places you mentioned do have autochthons who are still there till date.

"If your problem is with reducing the influence of Kwararrafa (Jukun) Gowon, not Danfodio should be blamed for introducing state system in Nigeria in 1967. You did say that you speak Hausa but that "Arewa mu" is, with due respect, saying otherwise. Sorry."

"Kwararrafa comprised largely of some parts of Taraba and Benue but the "spanned about forty thousand square miles that covered parts of northeastern Nigeria, entire northern Cameroon, and part of Central African Republic." (Wiki) So between Kwararrafa and Adamawa which one needs to claim "majority status" (to borrow from you)?"

Kwararafa went beyond Jukun land, it was a multiethnic confederacy stretching from today's North East to central Nigeria. Language and cultural similarities attest to this fact. At it's peak, it was a peaceful and powerful kingdom, at it's fall all the groups under the kingdom went their ways and established their ethnic ruling structure opened to all natives regardless of religious persuasion. Even though they dispersed to various directions they continued to unite to fight off invaders. Gowon wasn't around in the 1800's. He didn't kill the natives and didn't enthrone a Fulani dynasty. Gowon's State creation liberated alot of polities along the axis of my focus, Atleast the establishment of LGA gave most groups the opportunity to unveil their true identity and enjoy some levels of freedom.

I also made it clear that Muslim dominated areas speak Hausa as first language and possibly the only language because it is the language of propagation and interaction, thus those with native tongues easily drop them for Hausa. In non Muslim polities Hausa is spoken but not as first or only language that's not to say that there are no Hausa and Fulani Christians or traditionalist. I also used Benue and Kogi as two states in the North were Hausa ain't an everyday lingua, (infact those who speak, learnt it outside the state) maybe because their neighbors are also natives but most importantly is the fact that there are no ethnic tongues that gave way to Hausa language or was swallowed by Hausa language, also the Fulani Jihad didn't anoint a leader or set up an Emirates there. Today, should any tribe there for any reason loose it's identity or settle for Hausa culture, Hausa language will become their lingua, Islam will set in, then migrant Fulanis from neighbouring countries will troop in to claim indigeneship - this is a known pattern. All I have said ain't unknown to you, but it is normal to hinge on 'the route' and the speculated origin of the Fulanis to seek to drive in circles instead of interrogating the issues. The word Hausa - Fulani is an amalgamation of Northern polities but when broken down the reality stare's one on the face - that is the story of Adamawa and some parts of NC and NE.

"I don't know what you mean by the "attempted attempt in Gombe", it may be another fallacious assumption."

Of course I don't expect you to be in the know of the attempted attempt, the people saw the whirlwind coming and took shelter in a counter move without drama, those who didn't heed the warning on Elrufia eventually are tasting the bitter pill of taking things for granted. Even though I have kept to my area of focus and haven't really bothered about all the examples you gave but I didn't find Yero's name on the list of folks who became deputy governor and governor in a strange land. Like I said I won't bother myself with issues on Political and Economic Fulanis - people who claim or speak Fulani language to gain mileage, a northern scholar has also attended to the issue even Myetti Allah folks have also alluded to that, 'Idon Mikiya' of Vision FM have also contended that some of those in Myetti Allah organization ain't really Fula, Fulbe or Pulaaku... but folks using the ethnic group and organization to pursue their personal interests.

"Is good seeing you saying, correctly this time around, that "Hausa language came first before Islam". This debunked your earlier assertion ecenthpugh you now introduced "Hausanised" again. Lol"

I also didn't say, Islam came first neither did I say Fulanis came first. You mentioned my post because I said there were 'vanished' tongues as a result of the movement of Hausas into Nigeria but you objected to that listing Hausa states and further raised questions. At no time did I say that Islam came first. in my last response I further emphasized that people's of the areas under focus existed before the birth of Jesus and Mohammed, meaning they had a way life distinct from that introduced by Christianity and Islam. of course you understand 'nized' when applied to tribe. Hausa language swallowed and is still swallowing the tongue of natives. I also tried to give example of a tribal Muslim and a non Muslim, and there usage of the language. While Hausa is commonly spoken in the North, it is more pronounced amongst those who use it more. A Karekare Muslim like Distinguished Senator Ahmed Lawal an ethnic Northerner and a non Hausa and a non Fulani may still understand his tongue but it may not be spoken in his house on daily because of Hausa is the official language of interaction amongst Muslims and with inter marriages, native tongues become more submerged. That is not to say Christians don't use Hausa language in Churches but it is limited. Today is Sunday, native tongues alongside English is used, Hausa language is also used especially is mixed communities where people understand Hausa language but were they to be 'Hausanize' Hausa language takes over completely. After it takes over completely, Islam sets in, then Fulanis will show up from other parts of world to say 'ai garin mu na gado ne'. Where Hausa has taken over completely is in Muslims areas in the North West.

"If you want to quote me, do so correctly pls, I didn't say religion is the first consideration for electing pu lic officers, and I also didn't make a sweeping generalisation, I said "in most parts of the North". Check."

Below is your take which generalized;

"NORTHERNERS PAY MORE ATTENTION TO RELIGION THAN TRIBE. That's the reason they voted for Abiola in 1993 and Tinubu in 2023. If you're a Muslim, you can easily contest and win an election in most parts of the North."

MORE, means it scores higher mark or comes first on the table of preference.

"You're yet to convince us that Fulanis truly migrated from North Africa. And you want to bring Buzus again into the discourse. Lol"

The Fulanis themselves speak of it, they have a complex origin because they are 'cluster' with variant tongues. They migrated into and dispersed in Africa, and adapted to cultures of their host before seeking to topple existing kingdoms as seen in Nigeria.

The Buzus are related to the Fulanis and most people even in Nigeria confuse the two principally because there is a political identity in the Muslim North which places religion as the first requirement for sub national and national leaders. A scholar of your faith has treated the origin of some of the prominent personalities in the North who are thought to be Fulanis. That came as a surprise to Southerners not Northerners who already know what he authored and more. So am not making up the Buzu story, i brought it up to affirm your position that religion comes first for a Muslim when voting even if it means voting a foreigner but who is a Muslim.

I also opined that Gobirawa way a distinct group but Hausa language swallowed it up and today Gobirawa is considered a Branch of Hausa language,

If Hausawa refer to Hausa speakers, Bajari refers to Jarawa speakers, Angasawa refer to Ngas speakers etc how come Gobirawa, Bussawa, Dukawa, Zarma, Kambarri etc are refered to as a branch of Hausawa?

l have interacted with people from some of those place and majority of them convinced me that they were a distinct ethnic group with a distinct tongue before the coming of Hausa migrants who funny enough sucked them into their ways of life. I also interacted with people who say the are owners of Kano - Maguzawa I was made to understand it is a religious and tribal description. The folks from Zuru told me they have a mother tongue and they still speak it till date. To my amazement most of the non Muslims I interacted with still speak their mother tongue alongside Hausa, while their Muslim brethren prefer Hausa and hardly bother about their mother tongue. Each relied on oral history passed down from generations to generations as the source of there fact,. The early Hausa migrants were traditionalist.

I had an acquaintance from Michika who one day told me he is Hausa-Fulani. But you told me you are of Higi ethnic stock, So what changed i inquired. I then asked him if his folks who are of other Faiths share in his 'new ethnic identity'. He told me that when he is with his kinsmen he speaks his native language but reverts to being a Hausa person while away. I further inquiried why he wouldn't agree to be a Hausa man in his village he laughed telling me that would be counter productive. But adopting or belonging to Hausa-Fulani will give him mileage. I encouraged him to hold on to his native identity instead of adopting another man's identity or subscribe to the Hausa-Fulani political identity which only benefits those who designed it and is of little benefit to the surviving ethnic groups of North.

What I narrated above is the common experience of majority of the youths who have lost their ethnic identity because their parents don't speak their mother tongue at home or they themselves don't speak so as to be regarded as Hausa or are seeking for visibility within the national and national space.

What I have expected of you in this discourse is to put it to (me) that some parts of present day Northern Nigeria were coopted from Cameron Chad and Niger. Lumping some of this strange fellows together by the modern governance architecture of Nigeria is what is giving many the wrong impression about origins. My takes ain't borne out of revisionism, pettiness or primordial intellectual discourse. But like I said I am informed.

FiftyFifty:

This seems to be your best attempt so far in this discourse but even this isn't without its deficiencies. If truly you're from the NC you should know some of the points I raised even if my "known tales" will not change your "position".

Check my earlier post on Kwararrafa, Nupe, and Kanem Bornu, I pointed out earlier that there was no trace of Fulanis in those kingdoms, I don't know what brought about claiming "majority status". I maintained that the Kwararrafa was the Jukun part of Taraba and Benue, has anybody to this very day told you otherwise? The Wiki referred to Yola the capital of Adamawa state as "the capital of a Fulani state until it was taken over by the British in 1901." Who were the original inhabitants of Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Lamurde, Mayo-Belwa, and Mubi (both north and south), among others? Jukun, maybe. If your problem is with reducing the influence of Kwararrafa (Jukun) Gowon, not Danfodio should be blamed for introducing state system in Nigeria in 1967. You did say that you speak Hausa but that "Arewa mu" and "garin Hausa" are, with due respect, saying otherwise. Sorry.

Kwararrafa comprised largely of some parts of Taraba and Benue but the Adamawa Emirate founded by Modibbo Adama in the 1800s "spanned about forty thousand square miles that covered parts of northeastern Nigeria, entire northern Cameroon, and parts of Central African Republic." (Wiki) So between Kwararrafa and Adamawa which one needs to claim "majority status" (to borrow from you)?

Is good seeing you saying, correctly this time around, that "Hausa language came first before Islam". This debunked your earlier assertion eventhough you now introduced "Hausanised" again. Lol

If you want to quote me, do so correctly pls, I didn't say religion is the first consideration for electing public officers in the north, and I also didn't make a sweeping generalisation, I said "in most parts of the North". Check. You cleverly smuggled in competence as a yardstick in electing officials in the Christian north, but what we've seen so far especially with Ortom, Darius, and even Lalong suggests otherwise. I don't know what you mean by the "attempted attempt in Gombe", it may be another fallacious assumption.

You're yet to convince us that Fulanis truly migrated from North Africa. And you want to bring Buzus again into the discourse. Lol

Politics / Withdraw Offensive Remark Against Northern Elders, Marafa Tells Matawalle by dre11(m): 8:38pm On Apr 21
A leading and founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign in zamfara State, Senator Kabiru Marafa,…

A leading and founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign in zamfara State, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has countered the Minister of State for Defence, Mr Bello Matawalle, stating that Northern elders are neither a burden nor paperweights whatsoever.

Matawalle had, in a statement with the title, ‘Tinubu Presidency: Northern Elders Forum, a political burden to the North, said they do not speak for the region, and described the Northern Elders as ‘paperweights and a burden’.

In a statement, he issued on Sunday, Marafa said rather than negatively portraying the Northern elders, Matawalle should have listed the achievements, programmes and policies, projects of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the North and the country as a whole in the first 10 months of the administration.

He said calling the elders of the region, which has and gave the highest number of votes to ensure victory for the Tinubu presidency, was counterproductive and a great disservice to the president, who is working tirelessly towards addressing the numerous challenges facing all segments and sectors of the country, among them terrorism, insurgency, economic and financial malfeasance and infrastructural decay, to list a few.

At the moment, Marafa insists that what President Tinubu needs from his appointees is support, loyalty and hard work to actualise the Renewed Hope Agenda conceived to return the country to the path of progress and prosperity, not sycophancy and unguarded statements.

Marafa, who represented zamfara Central Senatorial District (2011 -2019), called on the minister to withdraw the offensive statement and tender, without delay, an unreserved apology to the Northern elders and Northerners in general.

“In the last one week, I have been inundated with calls from well-meaning and prominent stakeholders in our region and party, the APC, who know my relationship with the President.

“They are worried and disturbed that the unfortunate statement by the Minister of State for Defence, if not addressed, could affect the president’s electoral fortunes in our region because it will be seen as if the minister spoke the mind of the president or the Presidency.

“The crux of the matter is that; whether you like them or not these people are called Northern Elders, so, unless they are stripped of that title by the people of the region, insulting them is tantamount to insulting the entire people of the region.

“It’s not in our culture and upbringing to insult elders. No descent society will refer to its elders as a burden and paperweights. The North is not an exception.

” As one of the senators who worked very closely with Asiwaju as party leader (as he was then called) from the formation of APC through the primaries that led to the emergence of General Muhammadu Buhari as APC presidential candidate in Lagos, the politics of the National Assembly leadership in 2015 and 2019 and the processes and intrigues that characterised the 2023 Presidential Primaries, I can say without mincing words that President Tinubu holds the North, the Northerners, and their leaders in high esteem.

“Although, I’m not the mouthpiece of either the president or the Presidency, as a Northerner and an elder in the region, as an APC stakeholder and one that has worked closely with both the president and the Vice President, I want to state categorically that this view expressed by Mr Matawalle is his personal opinion and not in any way that of Mr President or the Presidency, and should, therefore, be disregarded.

“I know for sure that the North, Northerners and the Northern elders are neither a burden nor a paperweight in the scheme of things in the region and the country as a whole. The president shares this view, and therefore he is with me on this,” Senator Marafa concluded.

The war between Hausa and Fulani is still in the future not now. Anybody who tells you that Hausa and Fulani are one is deceiving us. The same scenario happened in zamfara state. The season film will be long.

So, this is the performance of a Nigerian youth governor. And we are talking about youth presidency.
Bello is not the only youthful governor, so it will be wrong for you to judge the youths base. On Bello's performance.

The following people were younger than Bello was when they became governors.

1 Donald Duke of cross river state
2 lucky lgbinedion of Edo state
3 Orji Uzo Kalu of Abia state
4 Sani yerima of zamfara state.
5 Chimaroke Nnamani of enugu state
6 Saminu Turaki of jigawa state ( note that Turaki was sworn in at the age of 36 and finished at the age of 44 )

Also note that James lbori and Rabiu Kwankwaso were the same age with Bello when they became governors.

This man really dent my confidence in youth taking over power or youth been better and less corrupt than our parents generation
Yahaya Bello is not the only youth to have become a governor ad most of you erroneously think.
Nigerians have been using Yahaya Bello as yardstick to measure performance of youths in governance forgetting that their are many other governors earlier who were younger than Bello as at time they were sworn in.

Let's even assume that Bello is 48 years as written here, it means he became governor at the age of 40.
Now the following people became governor at less than 40 and they include
.1. Chimaroke Nnamani of enugu state 38
2 Orji Uzo Kalu of Abia state. 39
3 Lucky lgbinedion of Edo state. 39
4 Donald Duke of cross river. 38
5 Sani yerima of zamfara state. 39
6. Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of jigawa 36 ( the youngest)
Note that all the above were born in 1960 and were all sworn in in 1999 except Turaki who was born in 1963

Again James lbori of Delta state was born in 1959 so he either became governor at the age of 40 or 39.

The aim of this comment is to make it clear that many other young people have been governors before , even younger than Yahaya Bello, the only problem is that some of us were very young in those days and so could not notice the youthfulness of these governors

Yes,I agree with you that Muslims slightly outnumber christians in taraba.i met a Fulani once who did the demographics for me and based on my calculations,I opened a thread about it on nairaland.in order to counter this, the Christian tribes usually unite under jukun hegemony to counter this including some minority Muslims.a simple calculus of Taraba shows that Muslims slightly outnumber Christians in the central and north of taraba.even in the south,Muslims are much in ibbi and ussa lgas.
I used to think dankwambo and goje are Hausa fulanis but I learnt that they are minority though they still identify as Hausa fulanis.i heard once that bala Mohammed is a minority,I know yuguda is minority.i don't know of adamu muazu though he looks kuje a fulani.i think nasir Idris the present kebbi gov is Hausa,i don't know where Dare or zamfara is from.umar namadi of jigawa looks hausa while Uba sani is Fulani same as Abba gida.i kbow shekarau is originally not from Kano same as abacha.tanko yakassai is from Taraba

It'll be nice meeting you too Sir, though I'm out of the country ATM.

Yes, Taraba is a Muslim majority state. That they produce two out of the three senators every election year says it all.

Goje and Dankwambo are neither Hausa nor Fulani. Yuguda is Fulani, Muazu too is Fulani from Boto, T/Balewa LGA. Bala is half Fulani from his mother's side and half Jarawa from his father's side, he is from Duguri, Alkaleri LGA. Tanko Yakasai is originally from Jimeta, Adamawa not Taraba. Abacha was Kanuri from Borno, his facial marks said it all. Both Abba and Ganduje are Fulani, Kwankwaso is Hausa. I don't know much about Dare and Nasir but they all look Fulani. Namadi is Hausa from Kafin Hausa.

The way you talk, I doubt if you've ever been to the North, the core-north. You use the data from Wiki when it suits you and when it doesn't you tender an "apology to wiki".

So Hausas migrated from Sudan but the same Sudanese speak Arabic. The few Hausas there found themselves there due to the journey to Mecca for pilgrimage.
You alo said the Hausas came through "Tripoli route" If you are coming to any part of Nigeria from Sudan you have no business with Tripoli which is far north, you head westward pass Chad and you're in Nigeria. Geography is added to your problems after history.
Churches in plateau uses Hausa in their service just like I told you that the Birom people uses Hausa language even among themselves. You don't know all these you're here presenting yourself as an authority in a subject you're obviously oblivious of.

Kanem Bornu is in the south of Hausaland? Lol. This is embarassing to you, wallahi. Kanem Bornu is in the east, take note.

You shy away from a answering this simplest question: Before Islam came to Hausaland, what what was the language of the original inhabitants of Kano, Zazzau, Katsina, Daura, Kazaure, Gumel, Gusau, Gobir, Rano, and Mafara among others? Waiting for your answer.

The Fulanis, you said, came to Nigeria from North Africa, how come there's no any country in northern Africa that speaks Fulfulde, or they just decided to migrate all at once, and in millions?

Nupe people are largely in Niger, Kwara, and Kogi states; Kwararrafa is the Jukun side of Taraba and Benue states; Kanem Bornu was Borno, and some parts of Yobe states; there was never the trace of Kanuri, Jukun, and Nupe in Adamawa so who was the inhabitants of Adamawa, or it was just a plain land?

Politics in Nigeria comes with its peculiar intricacies, it is not always a determining factor in this regard. Late Abu Hashidu was a Governor in Gombe in 1999, he was Fulani. Inuwa Yahaya, the current Governor is also Fulani. Gombe, like some states in the North has a negligible percentage of indigenous Christians, there's therefore an unwritten agreement to always give them a Deputy Governor's slot except where they misuse the gesture and provoke the Muslims like in Niger and Kaduna that's where they will lose that opportunity since the Muslims can win any election without them. In Gombe, just like in Adamawa the relationship between the two faith is cordial, so? This further exposes your ignorance about the north and its politics. Another example is Taraba which is a Muslim majority state (I know you'll argue but try and have a heart-to-heart discussion with anybody from Taraba and he'll tell you), another pointer is that from 1999 to date, two out of the three senators representing the date in Abuja have always been Muslims. That tells you all you need to know. Why they are not been governors is a topic for another day. Also, from 1999 to date all the governors in Bauchi state came from one senatorial zone, is Bauchi south senatorial zone more populous than the northern and central zones? Still, consider this points, Jonathan is from Ijaw tribe, is Ijaw among the major tribes in Nigeria? In the recent elections, Tinubu lost to Peter Obi in Lagos, does Lagos belongs to the Igbos? Same Tinubu lost to Atiku in Osun, yes Osun, not Adamawa. What is this telling you? Northerners pay more attention to religion than tribe. That's the reason they voted for Abiola in 1993 and Tinubu in 2023. If you're a Muslim, you can easily contest and win an election in most parts of the North. Shekarau governed Kano for 8 years, he was a minister and a senator but he is originally from Borno. The immediate Governor of Bauchi M A Abubakar is from Kogi. I can go on.

There is no point educating you about Shehu Uthman Danfodio. If you lack a basic comprehension of a simple geographical and historical issues, I doubt if you can understand that one.

Chai,I am learning a lot from you sir.ill love to meet you one day.ive always wanted to meet a Fulani with a large grasp of history of Nigeria.

Nigerians have always been sentimental about issues concerning Politically Exposed Persons and it is understandable.

I still remember what many Nigerians said about Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) then. What has happened to Dasuki and all the Arms Money they claimed he stole? Has anyone been convicted on the basis of the basis of what was termed then as Dasuki Gate?

Even Dasuki that they claimed had weapons “capable of disrupting the peace of any city in Nigeria for a while” is in his house now, enjoying life.

I remember what many Nigerians said about Ayo Fayose then too. Some people even said that Fayose would go to jail the moment he was out of power as Ekiti Governor.

While still in office as governor, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives were everywhere, invading properties perceived as his. A petrol station in Akute, Ogun State was shut down by EFCC operatives. The news was that Fayose owned the petrol station, but a few days after shutting down the petrol station, it was reopened by the same EFCC operatives having found out that they acted wrongly. Many buildings in Ekiti were marked with the usual EFCC INVESTIGATION KEEP OFF! The marks were latter to be cleaned when they realized that Fayose did not own the houses.

Then, when Fayose said he will report at the EFCC office in Abuja at 1pm on October 16, 2018, many Nigerians said he was only using that as a decoy to run away from Nigeria. But as he promised, Fayose reported at the EFCC office in Abuja, wearing a T-shirt with inscription, “EFCC I’M HERE.”

Today is April 19, 2024, Fayose’s trial which started on October 22, 2018, is still on, close to SIX YEARS after it started.

Early last year, EFCC bragged about how the then zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed Matawalle will be arrested and prosecuted after his tenure for alleged N70 billion fraud.

Today, Bello Matawalle is a serving Minister. He is in charge of defence!

Also, in June last year, the Federal High Court, Abuja, restrained the EFCC and Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) from detaining former Governor of zamfara State, Senator Abdulaziz Yari.

Up till today, EFCC has not invaded the residences of Matawalle and Yari to arrest them. They have not been declared wanted and placed on the watchlist either.

It is about Yahaya Bello, immediate past governor of Kogi State.

As usual, EFCC is presenting Yahaya Bello as one who is running from investigation and prosecution. His residence has been invaded. He has been declared wanted. He has been placed on WATCHLIST.

But in all these EFCC usual dramas, the public has not been told whether or not, Yahaya Bello was at any time INVITED by the EFCC.

Methinks EFCC should oblige Nigerians with its Invitation Letter to Yahaya Bello with the date it was received and who received it.

Furthermore, on March 14, 2024, EFCC charged Yahaya Bello before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja for alleged N84 billion money laundering offences, alongside his nephew Ali Bello, Dauda Sulaiman and Abdulsalam Hudu.

Now, the question is, if someone has been charged to court, of what essence is the arrest and interrogation?

When charges are filed by the investigating authorities against and accused person and such person is arraigned in court, it presumes the conclusion of investigations, meaning that such an accused only has business with the court, not the investigating authority any longer.

Therefore, in the case of Yahaya Bello, he only needs to appear in court on the next adjustment date or when he is served with the court processes.

Meanwhile, there is a court order barring arrest and prosecution of Yahaya Bello, and EFCC is at the Court of Appeal, challenging the order. So why not wait for the Appeal Court to determine the appeal?

Also, a Federal High Court, Abuja, is scheduled to rule on the application by EFCC, seeking a substituted service of the charge on Yahayo Bello, on April 23, 2024.

Justice Emeka Nwite fixed the date after counsel for the EFCC, Kemi Pinheiro (SAN), and the ex-governor’s lawyer, Abdulwahab Mohammed (SAN), presented their arguments for and against the oral application.

Mohammed, who announced appearance for Yahaya Bello, challenged the validity of the charge on the ground that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter on the one hand and to have issued the arrest warrant against his client on the other hand.

He informed the court that a preliminary objection had already been filed before the court, to the effect.

The lawyer urged the court to vacate the arrest warrant order, and pointed out that a High Court in Kogi State had on February 9, 2024, restrained the anti-graft agency from arresting, detaining or prosecuting the former governor.

He said the ruling was on a fundamental rights suit filed by the Yahaya Bello, and that the EFCC was a party in the matter.

So, why should the EFCC declare someone it is already prosecuting in court wanted? Isn’t it the duty of the court to issue warrant of arrest against an accused it is trying?

Methinks once an accused is charged to court, the prosecutor no longer have any right on him or her.

In this case, having charged Yahaya Bello to court and his lawyers were in court to represent him, should the EFCC still declare him wanted? Isn’t that the duty of the court? Is it right for an agency of government to act in a way to suggests that it is overreaching the court?

The court adjourned till Tuesday, April 23, 2024, to rule on EFCC’s application for substituted service on Yahaya Bello, why should EFCC act like it was seeking self-help?

These are questions lovers of democracy and the rule of law should ask, not falling for the usual drama of the EFCC, which in most cases has led to shoddy prosecution of cases.

Let me say this again, I am in support of the investigation and trial of anyone for corruption in this country.

After all, when the police in Ekiti State invited me for alleged stealing of N13 million while serving as head of the State Broadcasting Service, I reported at the Police Headquarters in Ado Ekiti almost immediately.

I was charged to court and granted bail, and I was going from Abuja to Ado Ekiti to attend court from March 2020 till May 2022 that the case was dismissed for lack of prosecution.

For more than three years that I was going to court, the Ekiti State Government that took me to court for corruption did not show up. They simply abandoned the case and left me to waste my time and resources coming to court.

After the usual drama of the EFCC, the same situation I faced for more than three years is what many Nigerians being prosecuted by the the commission are facing. In some cases, it will be the EFCC that will raise issues about the integrity of judges, causing transfer of cases to other judges and the matters starting afresh.

Like I have maintained, corruption cases are not prosecuted and won by public drama as being done by the EFCC. They are won through diligent investigation and prosecution, ICPC has been more successful in prosecuting corruption cases than the EFCC.

I hope that soon, Nigerians will begin to ask questions as to why ICPC does not make noise, but has achieved more conviction in corruption cases than EFCC, the Aláríwo (Noisemaker) of Nigeria.

It is Yahaya Bello today, tomorrow, who knows whether it will be you or someone very close to you. Reason EFCC must be told to stop being dramatic and do its jobs by the laws of the country.

I am still Lere Olayinka. I am here with the Irunmales of Oke Agbonna in Okemesi Ekiti, doing Night Vigil.

I dont know for other region ooo but here in zamfara price of goods are dropping fast. Though the state govt took it to themselves to solve the issue of using dollar as a means of estorting from the people. As of yesterday a bag of rice is 52250 from 75-80k

How's the insecurity situation there?

I've never been to zamfara. I don't think I will be visiting soon as well, considering the security reports from there.

Crime / Bandit Kingpins, Kachallah, Madagwal, 12 Others Killed In Zamfara by ManirBK: 7:09am On Apr 20
Notorious bandits Kachallah, Madagwal, 12 others killed in faceoff with rival groups in zamfara

Two notorious bandit kingpins, Kachala Gwande and Kachallah Madagwal, and 12 others have been killed following a confrontation involving three rival bandit groups at Kaurar Zomo village in the Kunchin Kalgo district of Tsafe Local Government Area of zamfara State.

This was disclosed in post by Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad.

The three rival groups involved in the clash were Alhaji Tsauni, Kachallah Jafaru, and Kachallah Gwandu’s groups.

According to Makama, they clashed in a fierce gun battle on Thursday at approximately 1545 hours, resulting in the reported death of 12 bandits from the three factions.

Jafaru, a notorious bandit kingpin known to operate from Faskari LGA in Katsina State, descended upon Kaurar Zomo village, which serves as Tsauni’s stronghold, under undisclosed circumstances that led to the violent confrontation.

The security expert explained that Jafaru’s fighters were overpowered and naturalised by Gwande and his fighters.

The fight, however, escalated to other enclaves shortly after the news of Gwande’s death broke, resulting in another heavy gun battle with Kachallah Madagwal’s group who was nutrialised in the aftermath of the shootout.

The report added that several bandits who sustained severe gunshot wounds were promptly evacuated to Munhaye Health Facility for urgent medical attention.

“The people of the area were currently trooping to the battleground to see the dead bodies of the neutralized bandits,” he concluded.

You've a disgusting hatred towards both Hausas and Fulanis or to say Islam, this is glaringly obvious. It's pathetic. Sorry.

So, the Hausas came from Tripoli (There are two Tripoli by the way, one in Libya and the other in Lebanon, both countries speak Arabic, not Hausa. So?) Who were the original inhabitants of Kasar Hausa like the one in Kano, Rano, Katsina, Zazzau (Zaria), Daura, Kazaure, Gobir, Gusau, and Kauran Namoda, among others? Have you ever heard of Bagauda, Bayajidda, Bawa Jan Gwarzo, and Queen Amina of Zazzau?

I don't know what you mean by "Fulfulde is an invaders language" but if you don't know that there were indigenous Fulanis in Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, and zamfara, among others, then I'm afraid you're not the person you desperately want us to believe you are.

Honestly, I don't know where you got this mis-information from, that you believe

Fulanis were visitors in northern NIGERIA before Dan fodio's jihad made them indigenes up to Ilorin. Nupe, kwararafa and kanem Borno existed long the Fulani invasion and Islam was practiced there. These kingdoms were neither Hausa nor fulani but today the story is different. North Central Hass been able to retain it's native identity largely because it doesn't share border with trans Sahara trade routes.

Ethnic communities existed in the North before Hausa traders reached the North in the early centuries and settled there. Hausa is a trader language while Fulfulde is an invaders language. Islam in Nigeria greatly relied on Hausa language because those traders who came through the Tripoli route were Muslims and spoke Hausa. Most Southerners like the Op believe everything taught to in GST class or read in some revisionist text books.

In a viral video posted on X on Thursday by Imran Mohammed, the terrorist, who quoted a Quranic verse, urged the zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal Dare to “fear God and kick start peace process immediately.”
A zamfara State bandits’ kingpin, Kachalla Garba Aminu, has called for dialogue with the Nigerian government.
In a viral video posted on X on Thursday by Imran Mohammed, the terrorist, who quoted a Quranic verse, urged the zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal Dare to “fear God and kick start peace process immediately.”
The terrorist said he was representing the interest of bandits and other indigenes of zamfara State.
On April 1, 2024, SaharaReporters reported how a zamfara State-based bandits kingpin advised the Nigerian military to abandon its kinetic approach and toe the path of dialogue.
In the latest video, the bandit is heard in a disjointed and broken English appealing for negotiations between his group and the Nigerian authorities.
“Because I represent zamfara State (bandits), after that I need to send message to Dauda Lawal Dare. Dauda Lawal Dere ‘ittakullaha’ (fear God)!
“As from today we need peace, we need peaceful coexistence in zamfara State. Continued fighting will not bring us peace. Peace is what is required of you.
“If you look at what’s going on in eastern Africa you’ll agree we need to find common ground to resolve our differences.
“After that I need to send message to the military, Tukur Usman Gusau, because he’s the one who sends war planes to bomb bandits.
“Dauda Lawal Dare you’re the leader of zamfara State, fear God. If you leader a peaceful zamfara, then call all the leaders of Fulanis and all the ‘Kachallas’ (bandits commanders) to the negotiation table for the benefit of all,” the terrorist entreated.

Politics / Arewa Youth Forum Knocks Matawalle Over Statement On Northern Elders by Jatuski: 6:10pm On Apr 18
*Urges Tinubu To Sack Non Performing Appointees

A frontline group, Arewa Youth Forum has slammed former zamfara State Governor and current Nigeria's Minister of State for Defence, His Excellency, Alhaji Bello Mohammed Matawalle over comments credited to him against the Northern Elders Forum.

This was contained in a statement personally signed by Arewa Youth Forum President, Ahmed Mohammed Zagi, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday April 18, 2024.

The statement reads: "We are deeply worried that a supposed minster from the North would be callous and insensitive to the extent of trading words with our revered elders, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).

"This is not in our culture, especially we from the North to disrespect elders. It is alien and must be discouraged. We are people with high esteem and regards for those who are older than us, hence, anything short, would not be tolerated," the group said.

Arewa Youth Forum said that instead of the Minister to concentrate on how to end the insecurity ravaging the country mostly the North and particularly in his home State, he has taken a path that will further alienate the regime of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Northern Region.

They therefore, urged him to retrace his steps and apologize to the Northern Elders, whom they described as patriots, committed to ensuring the welfare of their people.

Arewa Youth Forum however, commended President Tinubu for his zeal to ensure Nigerians fare better, while tasking him to purge out non performing appointees in his cabinet.

Career / Lawrence James Ekele: Football Coach With A Difference by Jatuski: 8:58am On Apr 18
One coach who has made a mark in his career in Nigeria as a football coach, is Benue born Coach Lawrence James Ekele.

He has done just not himself proud, but his state of origin and country.

Kick starting off his career at the prestigious National Institute for Sports (NIS) in Lagos Nigeria far back in 2011, he has gathered experience and recorded successes at several engagements since then.

Same 2011, he served Aspire Africa Football Dream as coordinator, before joining Heartland FC Owerri in 2012.

Based on his track records, he was engaged by zamfara United FC Gusau in 2013, where he spent a year, before joining DSS FC Kaduna Nigeria in 2015.

Perhaps, DSS FC had a strong hold on him, as he spent five years with the team, before quitting in 2020.

While with DSS FC, he secured the first ever trophy for Nigeria from the World U-19 DANA Cup in Denmark,

Coach Lawrence James Ekele based on that feat, is still being sought by several teams in Europe and Asia.

As the Head Coach of Kaduna based Dynamic Sporting Solutions (DSS) Football Club, he trounced top football countries to reach the final of the DANA cup in 2016, where they went ahead to beat highly rated United States of America.

That victory though painful for the Germans, but endeared the coach of the winning country, Nigeria to them and several teams from that country have since been after him to append his signature on a contract that would see him inspire their teams to victory.

That this stroke of success came about just five years after he left the National Institute of Sports (NIS), Lagos, shows that besides what he learnt there, he actually had some in built coaching talent bottled up inside of him.

The Idoma-born coach, shortly after his course at NIS was recruited as an intern in Heartland of Owerri in 2012.

He joined the services of zamfara United in 2013 and was there for a season as an assistant coach, before he moved to DSS as Head Coach in 2015.

It would be recalled that in an exclusive chat after the DANA Cup victory, he told our reporter that winning the DANA Cup didn’t come without challenges.

He explained that on arrival in Denmark, they barely rested before being handed down their match schedules.

“As soon as we stepped into Denmark, we were given the matches fixture and we thrashed Germany 6-0 in our first match. Most times we didn’t rest at all, even playing two matches in a day,” he said.

He further explained that as Africa’s only representatives at the competition, they did not just get an easy sail, but slugged it out in a qualifiers held in Togo, where they finished tops.

Coach Ekele praised President of DSS FC, Chief Sunday Adeleye for single handedly bankrolling all their trips right from the qualifiers to securing travel visas and tickets to Denmark.

His career continued at Futures of Africa International Academy Kaduna Nigeria in 2021, while his most recent stint was at Kebbi State Team Academy, from 2022 to 2023, which is being reviewed by the current administration in the state.

Politics / PDP Governors Strategize To Hijack Party Structure As Wike And Atiku Feud Deepen by Wisdomkosi(m): 7:44am On Apr 18
As the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) holds its crucial National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today, there are rumours that governors under the platform of the party might hijack the meeting.

The move is not unconnected with the battle for the party’s soul by critical stakeholders who are working to take over the reins of the PDP and position themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Section 31(1) of the party’s constitution, the NEC consists of over 100 members, including the party’s national chairman, who is also the chairman of the NEC; the president and vice president who are:

Members of the party.
The chairman and secretary of the board of trustees (BoT).
All other members of the BoT who shall have no voting rights.
The principal officers of the Senate who are members of the party.
Two senators from each of the geopolitical zones who are members of the party.

Others include:

Principal officers of the House of Representatives that are members of the party.
Three members from the House of Representatives from each geopolitical zone who are members of the party.
All state governors who are members of the party.
The national working committee members.
All state chairmen.
Six ex-officio members, at least two of whom shall be women, elected from each of the six geopolitical zones.

All former national chairmen, deputy national chairmen, national secretaries, chairmen, and secretaries of the board of trustees who are still members of the party.

Daily Trust reports that unlike before, where the battle for control of the party was between the camp of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, the game has now changed with governors elected on the platform of the party, especially those in their second terms, also said to have formed a block to take over the reins of the party.

The governors currently elected under the platform of the party are Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (Adamawa), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Bala Muhammed (Bauchi), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), and Godwin Obaseki (Edo).

Others are Peter Mbah (Enugu), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), and Dauda Lawal (zamfara).

Among them, the governor of Bauchi, the chairman of the forum, and those of Adamawa, Bayelsa, Edo, and Oyo are in their second term, with the Edo State governor leaving office later this year.

A highly placed source at the party’s national headquarters said a few of the governors, especially those in their second term, are now planning on how to take control ahead of 2027, while a few of them remain undecided.

The source said some of the governors were tired and frustrated with the division and the endless fight between the Atiku and Wike camps, and are working on an independent outcome, if possible, to redirect the party going forward.

But another source familiar with the inner workings of the party said the governors were not taking an altruistic position in the battle but plotting to position one of them as the candidate of the party for the 2027 general elections, thus handing over the structure of the party to either the former vice president or the FCT minister will not favour their permutations.

Even though many of the governors are working to present a candidate they feel will either do their bidding or have what it takes to reorganise the party, the inability of many of them to come together and present a common front is hampering their efforts.

A source said, “Yes, the governors want to have control of the party. Apart from the fact that they don’t want to be seen as supporting either Atiku or Wike, which many of them do and people know, they also feel that if anything happens, they will be the ones to lose out.”

The PDP Governors’ Forum is also divided over the position of the acting chairman, Umar Damagum, with some of them wanting him to stay on because of the forthcoming elections in Edo and Ondo states.

But after its closed-door meeting yesterday, the chairman of the forum and governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, said the issues in the party are being resolved, adding that “We are looking forward to doing everything within the constitutional provisions of the party. So, we are not here to discuss about a change of leadership.”

Mohammed, who dispelled speculations that there are contending forces, including the governors, in the party, said, “NEC will take decisions on issues, not the governors. I know the governors normally take the leadership position, but we have an acting person leading the party, and NEC will decide whether it is time to fill the vacancy, looking at the legal implications of doing that.”

Meanwhile, in the communiqué, after the meeting read to journalists, the governors called on the NWC of the party to “Set in motion the machinery to conduct credible congresses in all the states where the tenures of party officers have expired.”

Apart from the chairman of the forum, those present were governors of Rivers, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Delta, as well as deputy governors of Edo and Enugu.

The immediate past governor of Niger State, Senator Abubakar Bello (APC- Niger North), has also sponsored two bills: the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Wushishi, Niger State (Establishment) Bill, 2023 and the Agriculture Research Council of Nigeria Act (Enactment) Bill, 2023.

A former governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wammako (APC-Sokoto North), has also sponsored two bills: the National War College Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and the Pension Reform Act (Amendment) Bill, 2024.

The immediate past governor of Sokoto and former speaker of the House of Representatives, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (PDP-Sokoko South), is the sponsor of the Federal Housing Authority Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

A former governor of Kebbi State, Senator Adamu Aliero (PDP-Kebbi Central) has sponsored the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi (Establishment) Bill, 2023.

Findings also showed that while none of those four senators has sponsored any bill yet; nine others have at least a bill each to their credit. It reported that between June 2023 and March 14, 2024, a total of 279 bills had been sponsored in the Senate.

When contacted for comments Senator Oshiomhole said that he was working on a bill and would soon present it to the floor of the Senate. His media aide, Victor Oshioke, told the press that his principal had sponsored a motion on the Benin-Auchi Road. “So, he is sponsoring his own bill very soon too,” he said

Senator Lalong’s media aide, Simon Makut, in a text message, said: “The distinguished senator will sponsor bills.”

Senators Dickson and Yari did not respond to requests for comment. Dickson neither answered phone calls nor responded to SMS and WhatsApp messages sent to him for comment since Friday and subsequent reminders were also ignored.

Political analysts, who commented on the matter , advised the former governors yet to sponsor bills to wake up.

Aminu Yakudima, said having former governors in the National Assembly is expected to deepen aggregate governance quality in the country.

“But, it will be bad if the former governors are there without performing. So, such former governors should be advised to improve their effectiveness and efficiency so that the country will move forward.

“What we are looking for now is patriotism and nationalism. We have high expectations of them. So, they should be advised to wake up from their slumber and improve,” he urged.

Another political analyst, Jackson Lekan Ojo, also said the former governors in the Senate must step up and deliver on their mandates to remain relevant or face more criticisms from Nigerians.

“While it is obvious that they retired from the office of governor to the Senate to keep their political career alive and remain relevant in the scheme of things, they should also contribute to the growth of their zones and Nigeria through impactful legislation,” he stated.

They don't realize that Nigeria is making more and saving more forex ever than before.

Soon importation of fuel will be gone forever and forex demand will be very low.

As at now, In-market rate for dollar exchange is 920.

I don't understand how people think CBN is defending the naira, if they are doing so, CBN will bring a fixed rate but it's totally opposite.
Fx is dropping seriously and that's the true meaning of floating a currency.

Infact it might drop to 600 anytime soon

If I have to choose between 600 to USD on a $30bn reserves and 900 to USD with a $50bn reserves, I'd choose the latter.

I don't think the naira is worth up to 600 anymore given how much naira we've printed in recent years.

Imo, the CBN should start working on building a healthy level of reserves going forward.

While on the fiscal side,
1. They should start working on tackling this persistent decline in oil production. I read this morning that just cos of some people playing politics by stopping the deal that was to transfer MNPU's assets to SEPLAT, we're missing out on almost 500,000bpd capacity. I really don't see why that SEPLAT deal should not have been allowed to go through. NNPC claims they spend $48 to produce every barrel of oil, imagine that ineeficiency, meaning if oil dips to $50, our economy is in trouble but last I checked, SEPLAT was doing only about $12. Look at that massive difference. NNPC will have to sell oil at $130 to meet up.

2. They should be more aggressive dealing with bandits in the north, so we can have better results from our agriculture. Imagine having trillions in defence budget, yet we're still hearing excuses. There are lots of well known bandit camps in the north, those camps can be left to exist even though their kingpins have taken out hundreds of our soldiers, yet we've besieging Okuama and ignomaturu?? Doesn't really make sense that they haven't leveled those bandits' camps.

3. One ton of Gold is about $80m, South Africa, despite several years of mining can still do 100 tons per month, why can't we who haven't been mining as much from our reserves target about 10tons per month and be earning $800m per month. I learnt there are places in zamfara where just rainfall alone will expose some gold deposits. At 15 tons per month we could be getting $1.2bn into the economy and from that maybe $200m -$400m as taxes and royalties.

Again... You focus on the president and miss the big picture. If every LG counsellor and House of Assembly member has his feet to the fire for poor service delivery... it wouldn't matter much if the State Governor is a "Tinubu" or APC Governor. If the electorate holds Senators, House of Rep members accountable, the checks intended for governance would work. But instead we allow people like this to distract us... Focusing on the presidency that no matter how poor the principal is, 1/3 part (if not more) of the nation will be ready to defend him on either ethnic or religious grounds. Focus on getting good governance at State and Local level... At least it's not common to have a Yoruba man being zamfara State governor, nor Ibo man being responsible for Ekiti State administration! Pick your battles... Our Strength is only in our unity, so at least Unite at LG levels first, if national Unity is a big ask! And fix your State's... May God give us sense. This their Divide and Rule just dey chop us since 19

Politics / Re: Tinubu Is Now Dividing The North by Andrea781: 8:08pm On Apr 16
Neckpresser101:
Who noticed Tinubu new style of using various hungry Northern groups to attack Northern Elders Forum?

it has never happened before in Nigeria where the north is showing cracks in terms of having a United opinion about National pressing issues.

Ofcourse every single corrupt or leadership failures always play important role in Tinubus Government like matawalle the zamfara Gbajue that reduced zamfara to insecurity hub of the Nation till his people booted him out of office He's calling out Northern leaders from condemning the present failure government we have now because they were quiet during Buhari reign of shame

People say SW (ACN) betrayed the north by taking
all important positions sharing it amongst themselves

but I am saying the northern (CPC) betrayed SW because not only did they not vote Tinubu massively like everyone expected, They don't want to be quiet and defend Tinubu's Government
just like manna , seunmsg, yarimo and helinues and co did for Buhari here from 2015 -2023 grin

The truth is , right now there's huge division in Northern Nigeria political sphere caused by PDP, APC and The NW power house Kano NNPP thanks to Tinubu and his proxies Basically that's his only means of surviving 2027

While Tinubu might suck at leadership, same cannot he said about Baba's genius in politicking.

Northern groups attacking eachother is now becoming common. Thanks to Tinubu and his proxies .

Northern Elders Forum told to shut up grin by Tinubu proxies northern groups

The north doesn't like anybody that doesn't share and waste money. So Because Tinubu is working and not sharing money anyhow that's why the north feels betrayed funny clowns.
