I will overlook your insults.. but we just have to put the truth out there for posterity sake. I don't rate Edo people cos most are nothing but disappointment when it comes to smartness (there are exceptions though)..
I will actually prefer Yorubas being very very tribalistic for other tribes to go.home and develop their ancestral lands.. Nigeria doesn't start and end in Lagos or Ibadan.

Crime / Invictusobi: Why Nigerians Should Not Blame Forbes, Atiku, BBC, Bella Etc by TechCapon(m): 2:11pm On Aug 17, 2019
TechCapon

The rise and fall of Forbes celebrated nairaland billionaire InvictusObi and why we can’t afford to blame EFCC, Forbes Africa and BBC.

Ever since obinwannem Okeke was arrested by the FBI in the United States, social media have been flooded with thousands of comments and many reputable media outlets like Bella Naija, Forbes Africa, BBC etc have come under heavy attack from social media users. In this post, I’ll take my time to explain why we should not put blame on these reputable media outlets and even law enforcement agencies.

EFCC IS NOT SOPHISTICATED ENOUGH TO TRACK SUCH HIGH TECH SCAM

EFCC is more of a guerilla crime fighting agency. They mostly rely on what they call “tip-off” to do their jobs. They receive a call from “anonymous source” saying he suspects his neighbour is a yahoo boy. Immediately they raid his house in the middle of the night, arrest him and his crew, seize their smartphones and laptops with the hope of finding incriminating evidence that can serve as evidence in court. That’s their modus operandi.

EFCC can’t track stuff like Internet Protocol (IP address), hack into an email, carry out a detailed painstaking investigation. They depend a lot on luck, an element of surprise, harassment and intimidation. They lack the training, technology and manpower for that high-level scam so blaming them for not arresting Invictus after all these years is not fair. There are many fraudsters that have beaten the “Almighty FBI” and been on FBI watch list for years with no hope of arrest.

INVICTUS OBI IS NOT YOUR EVERYDAY SCAMMER

According to a popular Nigerian politician, some people belong to 97% while others belong to 5%. INVICTUS does not belong to the 97% class of fraudster, he belongs to the rare 5% which are extremely difficult to decipher. The everyday yahoo boy wants to make a few thousand bucks, drive a flashy car, grow dreadlocks and pop champagne with big ass women twerking for him day and night. The rare 5% of fraudsters are too smart for that, they invest their loot in legit businesses and foundations. They wear suits and keep low haircut while acting as motivational speakers That’s why it’s hard to even suspect they’re into fraud and that’s why they can fool big organizations who believe they’re legit.

Watching this interview, I kinda like the guy. Shame about the pickle he got himself in.
The story about him and his house having electricity, living off the national grid, not connected to the state electricity board at all, no generator, just renewable energy 100%, got me.

Well, the brother is right, but that's the more reason why he is my superstar,i easily relate to those his sorrowful songs, the more sorrowful he makes them, the better it sounds to me.

Oliver? I like that song he sang for people's club, how time changes, people's club is no longer reigning, that club was once great, whatever happened to them,i dont know.

There is this other guy i love his song, his name is spider ududo. The sam warrior story,i heard it too,i always wonder if it's true, they said that when they gave him the lethal injection,he came back and sang the song 'uwa chiga chiga'.

Oriental brothers are cool, songs like obinwannem, nwanyi diya wu eze, onye ka uwa ya kacha nma are great,i can't just get enough of them, owerri dialect and anioma dialect are good for music, even though i always have difficulty understanding the former.

Don't believe those radio without power stories- Christogonus Ezewuiro Obinna a.k.a Dr. Sir Warrior died of diabetes after suffering for 10 good years. Believe it or not, he is a very good friend of mine since we met in 1985 in London, when he came to record his album-Anyi Nyiri Odo with his band and a friend introduced us..
His two grown up kids (Uche & Ajuzieogu) are big disappointment. They set a tone that they will copy their father with the album released after their father death in 1999 and that was it.
Ajuzieogu I think reside in Chicago now after graduating from Abia State Uni, going around america with mic in his hand singing his fathers songs, over a CD PLAYER at any Igbo party going in the state.
Peoples Club is still going but not as prestigious as it was when I joined in 1981 through my fathers recommendation. I still remember then that you have to have an asset worth at least 100k naira before you can become a member. LOL. Lots of money then though. My branch here in London still function but I hadly attend this days-full of noisy/show-off kids this days.

You mean madam Comfort 'onye omali osa' one of my favorites also, you guys r making realize how few of his songs i actually have. Never knew him when he was alive either but dont think it would have made any difference. A brother once gave a scathing criticism of his songs describing most of them as being too 'mournful/sorrowful and with a theme mostly bothering around 'death', i knew he had a point but what cannot be taken away from him is the beauty of his songs and ability to stir deep emotions within its listener.
For Osadebey, with me its the older the better, of course Osondi owendi is a classic, still love makojo, Aduke, Abube 85 as well as most songs he did during his days of rivalry with Oliver (as i got to understand) imagine those guys trying to do the best song for 'Peoples club'! Intriguing. As for Oliver, i only like his vintage songs, yes we all grooved 'biri kan biri' but it wasnt really enduring. Morroco? I stopped in Ubanese, not cos he wasnt good but it wasnt my type. Love oriental bros and sir Warrior, heard the latter was caught with drugs abroad and injected with a lethal dose of something to go and die at home! Lolzzz
