As far as the killing remain up north I'm cool. After all in 1966-1970 the North didn't know that their compatriots were dying down east. Christians killed 300 cows, Fulani/ Muslims killed 200 people, Christians killed 2persons. Total killings by Christian=302. Total killings by Fulani/Muslims=200. Christians leading by 102 persons. Fulani/Muslims should swing into action asap to equate the equation in not more than 2days. Note: cows=human beings. Chai Spain just teared my bet9ja ticket that one hurt me pass the killing news self. |

Yusman316: Brother we just keep going round and round the same arguments with no end in sight. First this clashes has nothing to do with grazing law. People already know how Fulani's/herdsmen behave when their cattle is touched, so why rustle the cattle's in the first place from them. And this latest event started when unknown gunmen believed to be berom youths attacked some Fulani's coming back from market. Set their vehicle on fire with a cow in it after rustling the rest. There was no outrage then by anyone, what at this point do u think the Fulani response will be? Violence of course. Experts said ranching is the way forward, now states are rejecting it without proffering solutions, that is a recipé for disaster. Some people's argument is that ranching is a private business so government shouldn't fund it. If we go by that logic then governments shouldn't build airports or roads or markets since air transport is private business. attack on fulanis I earlier condemned as far as they didn't invade any persons farmlands. but resorting to violence and taking laws into their hands is where I fault them. I read where the governor of Plataeu simon lalung was addressing plateau people and he told them never to take laws into their hands and that the security agencies will ensure that justice is done. just imagine if everyone decided to fight for themselves like the fulanis do you think Nigeria will remain?. coming to the ranching method which is a private business like you just stated. my opinion is that government shouldn't fund such because there is no economic advantage for government in returned. you talked about airport, roads and market. I can tell you that what make Lagos state and anambra state financially stable is the taxes those traders plying in those market pay. in the case of airport any airplane that lands on government airport must pay government and that adds to our IGR and besides government also makes use of those airports and roads. but I have no records of Fulani herdsmen paying tax to any government. they are of no economic importance to government. if grazing reserve should be created for herdsmen by government for no gain why don't you thing that a special tax free market should also be created to Igbo's in those sharia northern state to sell their bear and other commodities of their choice so as to avoid the stopping their source of livelihood by the laws of their hosting state. what's good for the geese is good for the ganger. miyatty Allah should liaise with some state and if they willing lease out their land they can establish any business of their choice not just cattle rearing and government should have no business with this. the function of the government should be to enforce the law of the hosting state and not question it. that's my candid opinion |

Yusman316: Bro here is my question. Assuming the government just ask the Easterners here in the North doing business for generations, who have not been to the East to leave. Where do u think they will go and settle in the East? There are Fulani's here in the middle belt that ve never been to the North. Like I earlier told somebody some of these Fulani's started grazing those lands before the communities even settled there. This been said I don't support the wanton killings by anybody or group OK see it this way. when some northern states pass the sharia law bill and set up state police to arrest and destroy any bear joint in the north, did the easterner resorted to violence and attack on the host states? no they didn't instead they adjusted and and obeyed the law and those who coundnt adjust left for a more comfortable places. this middle belt have made a law in their state so if you can't cope with the law leave of adjust like the Igbos. there is no course for alarm |

GavelSlam: Let's be frank here.
How would the Igbo nation feel should their premises of business be torched with all their wares in it? Not just once but several times?
What do you think the end result would be?
Violence only begets violence.
These people have co-existed for years but a wedge has suddenly been put between them by usurpers.
This issue of taking sides out of passion has got to stop.
A working solution on co-existtence needs to be expedited.
I know, as usual many would come with their insults as is their way.
Ask them the solution and they blab. but bro don't you know that igbos have been treated harsher in the north than these Fulanis. Igbos are not only been intimidated in their place of business in the north but are been killed with impunity and even given quit notice in their country. how many time has it been recorded that igbos resorted to violence and attack on their host community even in the face of provocation. the truth is that I don't support host communities stealing and intimidating fulanis if they don't destroy farmlands and commit other atrocities. violence runs in the blood of fulanis and killing remains their hobby that's fact. I was talking with a Yoruba Muslim friend and I told him they Islam is a religion of violence and he reacted subtly and told me that in Nigeria violence is more or a tribal thing than religion. he asked me if I have a record where any Yoruba Muslim was involved in violence and terrorism which I answered no and there and then he won the argument. as for the solution for this problem, government should establish grazing reserve to Fulani dominated state like sokoto, kano katsina, jigawa, zamfara, and all the fulanis and their animals should go there and do their business or do so in any state who agree to lease land to them and not compelling any state to donate their land. the solution is not far fetched the government of the day has anterior motive with this Fulani and grazing reserve. the more you look the less you see. if you know you know |

Rexnegro: as long they are nigerians they have their right to move and live anywhere within Nigeria . they should settle in peace . so they have the right to break the laws of their host community because they are Nigerians. Benue made a law in their state and these animals refuse to abide by it and not just that, retorted to killing their host community and a sane person is justifying their action. if I have the opportunity to ask God one question I will ask him while he created me in Nigeria among all countries. |

Here is the presidential election result which Ojokwu was a contestant.
The entire Alaigbo couldn't do more than 1,297,445 votes for their Messiah/Hero ( On assumption that all the votes came from South East)
Even Obasanjo, a yoruba by tribe soundly defeated your Ojukwu right there in your Igbo dominated region and you have the guts to shamefully tag some other as Betrayers?
E be like say Nnamdi don exchange your sense with Pig's urine and Pizza for Ghana abi?

Whoever that is behind this dastardly act will never find peace. No matter how highly or lowly placed. you are getting the whole thing wrong bro. igbos prayed just like you have prayed years ago that whoever was behind the killing of 3 million igbos will know no peace and God has just decided to answer our prayers. just wait and behold more killing when buhari ascends aso rock come 2019 then you will know that what's happening now is a child's play. the way of God is not the way of men so buhari is a prayer answered in disguise. |

clarocuzioo: Addressing the issue of the Second Niger Bridge project, apart from early works, as of today, there is no existing contract for the Second Niger Bridge in spite of frequent requests from the National Assembly. The N900million reduced from the N10billion proposed by the Executive was deployed to fund ancillary roads that connect to the Bridge. It should again be noted that the N12.5billion and the N7.5billion appropriated for the Second Niger Bridge in the 2016 and 2017 budget by the National Assembly were never utilized for the project.
For those that have been ranting up and down here about this administration completing the second Niger bridge, I hope you will agree with me now that your ignorance and sycophancy has been well exposed by this insight from the NASS.
This is a detailed, comprehensive and insightful explanation by the nass on the 2018 budget, we require the executive to come up with such detailed, insightful and comprehensive account of what transpired so Nigerians can place a logical judgement, we will appreciate it from the executives if it is speedly do e. they can't na they will just be looking for who to arrest |
