At least, they're moving one MDA HQ from Lagos state this time around... the Obidients won't protest that the administration is moving the control of the country to Lagos (our own Centre of Excellence)

Health / Re: Menstrual Cramps Disturbing Me Badly. Please What Can I Use For It? by SeedofAbraham: 3:34am On Jan 07
Jewessgratitud3:
I suffer severe menstrual cramps and it's really taking a tow on me. Like I no longer look forward to having my menses because of the pain and discomfort that comes with it.

The only thing that stops the cramps is felvin but it makes the flow three times heavier than normal to the point that I'll start feeling dizzy. The last one scared me cos after taking felvin, on the second day I was changing diaper every 5 mins. (Yes I use diaper cos pad no longer holds my flow. ) At a point I stood up and it's as if the whole blood in my system gushed out and I nearly passed out. So I said I wasn't going to use felvin again.

Now, I didn't use felvin this time and the flow is normal but I've been crying from pain since yesterday. It's like labor pain and im tempted to take felvin but when I remember what happened the last time, I'll ditch the idea.

Please what can I use to stop the pain that will not increase the flow? Please help with remedies that work.
Get desofem from any nearby Pharmacy... subject to Doctor or Pharmacist prescription though.

Family / Re: Is It Normal That I've Never Received Any Gift From Anyone? by SeedofAbraham: 1:25pm On Dec 18, 2023
Lolz... you're not the only one in this. Only 1 person gifted me money since the past 2 years while I've gifted about 20 - 30 people over the same period of time. I thought of this recently as majority of people remember to call me or chat me up (remember that I still exists) only when they need financial assistance from me. I think a lot of people prefer to receive from others while they find it hard (feel reluctant) to give from the little or much that they have.

A well paying job... He answered my prayers as I was called to resume during the second quarter of the year. Most especially, the Offer was a Birthday gift as I got it on my month of birth (birthday month). Grateful to God for what He has done and what He will continue to do in my life.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Monthly Net Salary Of Federal Government Ministries, departaments, Agencies And P by SeedofAbraham: 4:26pm On Dec 09, 2023
TSoul:
Those of us wey no get Senator or Connect or Money to buy the job..................Na God we get and He is enough for me!
That's just it. Just keep trying your best while you believe that Jesus is on the throne. I was once pursuing State & Federal Jobs as far back as 2019, 2020 in which none worked out due to no connection. I was depressed and almost gave up as I was without job for 17 months after completion of National Service. In fact, I partook in EFCC Aptitude Test 2020 for Detective Superintendent Cadre recruitment in which we wrote an Essay of 1 and half Pages. The same night of the day we wrote the test, I received call of commendation from Panel of EFCC Officials (they never knew me from Adam) that marked my script based on my outstanding performance. They were impressed by my performance as I emerged as the best candidate in my State (Lagos State... the marked scripts should be in EFCC Head Office to show for it) while I was urged to get my mind prepared for the Interview that would be conducted by top EFCC Officials at a later date while they wished me success. As at March 2020, COVID started while the then Chairman's case also started before the emergence of a new Chairman. Sequel to the emergence of a new Chairman, the 2020 EFCC Recruitment was cancelled and all hope seemed lost.

However, God compensated me as I now work with a reputable organisation where I earn close to what a Detective Superintendent earns at EFCC currently. Though I won't hesitate to join EFCC or relevant MDA that can treat me well if opportunity arises in the future... However, I want us to look outside Government Job sometimes while we look into the Private sector as juicy opportunities abound there as well. To those that are depressed (a situation which I once passed through) due to unemployment or underemployment, I urge you to keep pressing while you look forward to a turn around in your story. Shalom!

One old aunty said she was born 1990, come see shout! Hey!!!! Aunty aunty aunty, small small na.. grin cheesy grin.. I don laugh Taya that day.

Another woman came and said she was born 2003, hey.. another round of shout grin grin grin... Comedy that day ehn?? grin grin
The last census was held Monday 21st March 2006 - Friday 26th March 2006. I could remember vividly. You can confirm online for knowledge sake as well.
Family / Re: Debate: Failed Family Planning.Who Is To Be Blamed More, the Wife Or The Husband by SeedofAbraham: 3:32pm On Apr 23, 2023

So I and my friends went to visit a friend that just put to bed her 5th child.

This child was unplanned for as they had already stopped having children.

She narrated to us how her husband was furious when she told him she was pregnant. He blamed her for not taking the necessary precautions.

This brought a debate between us, who actually is responsible for an unplanned pregnancy.

Is it majorly on the woman who knows her cycle and carries the pregnancy but was still careless or on both the man and wife for not working closely together to ensure what needed to be done is done

Nairaland has always remained the discussion thread where people share update on recruitment matter... This has always been the norm and should remain the norm. I don't even know when this idea of diverting from Nairaland to WhatsApp group started. Many of us still come to Nairaland to seek for information about previous recruitment of Agencies while we read their discussion thread for the purpose of learning from the shared experience of people that have gone through the stage. Where do you want the upcoming generation to learn from when they get to this same stage? Please let's allow this thread to remain the only discussion thread that binds us together... kindly shun the idea of WhatsApp group. Thanks.
