With a sad and heavy heart, I'm writing to seek your advice and/or recommendations.

My mum is late. She died 2 years ago and since her demise, everything has turned left for us - her children. We were deserted and left to fend for ourselves by our uncles, aunties, and other relatives that we thought were with us when my mum was alive. My dad is still alive but he only pretends to care about us. I can't even remember the last time he has done something good for any of us. Our school fees, food, everything, were taken care of by my mum.

There is a 50-year-old man who we were later told is our distant relative. His house is a stone's throw away from our house. When I was at home, I used to run errands for him, like going to the market to buy things for him. So it was normal. He used this same method on my sister. He took advantage of my sister's naivety and impregnated her. She's barely 16 and I swear to God, she has not known any man until this bastard did this to her. He even ran away from home and plan to come back when tensions are low.

Note: we left her in the village with my dad and my brother. We, the elderly ones left the village to hustle in the city. We have not settled and we couldn't afford to take them with us.

More than a year after NYSC... no lucrative job showing forth still. It saddens my heart whenever I remember that getting job in this country is majorly based on knowing an elite as there seems to be no opportunity for bright minds without godfather... no hope for the common man who isn't born with a silver spoon. I'm presently at the point of giving up but I believe that the Lord is on the throne.

Just stumbled across this and discovered that I posted it around November 2020. However, 3 months after posting this & 16 months of suffering depression after NYSC, I'm now an employee of a reputable International NGO.

As for others out there that are passing through hard times due to the high rate of unemployment in the country in which is a menace that has remained unabated... Don't give up on God, He'll settle you in due time. Have Faith in God!

The invitation for next stage isn't in the purview and discretion of the agency... So, the exit of the CG and appointment of another one in acting capacity doesn't affect anything.

Pls is it true that the peeps that was sent message for Ndlea recruitment, the 5000 applicants are going to be automatically recruited at the said centre in Jo's after the work performance text/interview. Bkaux there was a time the president said ndlea would recruit 5000 peeps. Could it be that the 5000 been called for the work text after their success at the CBT Interview have automatically gotten the job and the work text is just a formality or there is more to it..pls I need clarification on this thanksss
