Savant: ^ @kokleen

When you divided by 24 hours did you see your answer there? What makes you feel that the answer you may have seen was the correct answer many variables.

I'm certain the distance given was 40km and the averagee speed for the time zones was like 26.4 and 26.8. They asked for morning and evening periods abi?

I remember the question somewhat well. It was the last question I saw and I believe it was 'my' numbers 18-20. I had about 3 mins 50 seconds at this point.
Did you actually write d testhuh Thought you said you weren't interested in any of d positions, and consequently wasn't moved to apply. How come you know most of d test question quite wellhuh
#just curious#

shenkron: So here is a breakdown of how my day went.
I arrived at the venue 2hours before time(although that didn't count in d assessment, lol), the strategic Recruitment manager(mr muyiwa) came to address us and told us not to be nervous and we should be ourselves, an ex academy member who is now gainfully employed with fbn(her name is bimpe) also addressed us and she was kinda really cool.
Another guy(whose name didn't stick to my head) came to talk to us abt the documentation stage for the people who wud make it to that stage.
The first exercise was the critical analysis section with 20 questions and possible options. We were split into groups and depending on the group you fall in, ur next activity might be diff. As for my group, we did our slide preparation first, then moved on to group discussion, then slide presentation and then finally the interview which lasted for less dan 10minutes. Individual case study was on fodil commercial ltd, the problems and solutions were embedded in d case study, u just have to elaborate on it and maybe refine it abit. The group discussion was talkn abt a company who had corporate social responsibility to their host community. In short jdbabzy said it all in his earlier post..those having their assessment tomorrow, u might be nervous at first but with time you'll become relaxed. Success my people!
Thanks boss!...I'm happy urs went well today.
Getting ready for mine....2moro by 1pm. Hope to see some Nlanders there too. See you!
Success to everyone...

Graviton: I just viewed my exam order/ticket. My centre is still very visible, infact it is bold as brass
Probably because you've already registered. There re no centre available for registration in Nigeria at d moment. I pray this issue wouldn't affect you test...

Where is your centre?

ALL centre in Nigeria reads "CLOSED" on ETS website, Check this out: www.ets.org/Media/Tests/TOEFL/tclists/IBT_n.html

It will get to our (fall 2014 aspirants) turn to share such wonderful testimonies.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unilever Management Trainee 2013 (Future Leaders Program) by seeker88(m): 12:40pm On Nov 07, 2013
I think savant is right...
I applied for Supply chain too, buh couldn't write my test immediately after submitting ma application. I logged in a day later and assessed my test via "pending assessment" link. I initially had a link there that looks like an "English test", buh when I started the test it happened to be a numerical test.
After taking n submitting the numerical test, d page loaded again n brought out another test for me to take...ie, logical reasoning.
Perhaps, those of you who applied for Supply chain n wrote one test did not wait for your second test to load (after submitting your 1st test) b4 exiting d assessment page.
I wish you all d best in your application process...

And to those who applied thru Adexen, were you also required to write the same essay as we did in d unilever site....or d application process was entirely different from what we did in d unilever career sitehuh

Dot1: Mine was scheduled for same day, but wen i checkd my schedule on prometric website, dey've already rescheduled me for Feb 20, 2014 in india. Datz ludicruous. I calld ets, but was told dat dey can't reschedule my appointment, and suggested i apply afresh to ghana and apply for refund later on d old schedule (tho am sceptical if it'll work). Next stop nw is ghana.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Call For Applications: NLNG Post-graduate Scholarship Scheme 2014 by seeker88(m): 12:40pm On Nov 02, 2013
ikenna58: At the bottom of the application, it states that your Fullname will do for signature.. So just type in your full name there.
Korekt!...I thought as much.
Thanks a lot bro
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Call For Applications: NLNG Post-graduate Scholarship Scheme 2014 by seeker88(m): 12:32pm On Nov 02, 2013
ikenna58: You don't need to print it out. Just reduce the size of ur passport so that it fits into the box; copy and paste it there. Fill the softcopy on microsoft word, it will fit it just fine. To mark those small boxes, double click on them and a small window will pop up; click on check and leave everyother thing, then click ok. When you done, submit to the Email and you will get a confirmation mail.
Goodluck
Thanks man!
And what about d signature signing, how did you do that on MS word pls?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Call For Applications: NLNG Post-graduate Scholarship Scheme 2014 by seeker88(m): 12:26pm On Nov 02, 2013
Emasel: It is stated in the application process, that no documents should be attached to the application form and that the application form should be accompanied by a coloured passport photograph.Deducing from that I think the passport should be included in the application form besides that explains the empty box for passport photograph in the application form.
I have completed my application in this way and got a successful mail after submission.
Sorry, you didn't answer the questions....pls, can you tell whether you printed a hard copy, fill n re-scan d completed form OR you filled d form in soft copyhuh
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Call For Applications: NLNG Post-graduate Scholarship Scheme 2014 by seeker88(m): 10:50am On Nov 02, 2013
itodo ho: i have some questions please. is the form supposed to be printed out and then scanned with your passport attached OR is it supposed to be filled in soft copy and then attached to thier e-mail. i await your responses. thanks.
Nice question!
Please who has an idea?
Buh I think we can fill the soft copy and even "copy-paste" d passport to d form since d form is editable.....your opinion pls?

davide470: You are looking for trouble by mentioning God's grace to General Shepherd abi.. LOL.
I understand what you mean..... based on d BH thread. I guess a NLander later xplained d importance of "God's Grace" in dat same thread....so I'm sure he will not attack me here. Lol
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oando Career Fair On 2nd November 2013 by seeker88(m): 7:09pm On Oct 31, 2013
GeneralShepherd: well, I served in Oando but their recruitment is just like any other local Nigerian firm, they are not based on merit. Also if you are not Yoruba your chances are so grossly slim.
You're right bro...
Anyways, God's grace is still d koko....
Jobs/VacanciesRe: First Bank Graduate Trainee Recruitment From May 16-30, 2013-apply Now!!! by seeker88(m): 6:18pm On Oct 31, 2013

I'm glad they finally re-invited you....congrats bro!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oando Career Fair On 2nd November 2013 by seeker88(m): 4:12pm On Oct 31, 2013
davide470: Oando normally do their GTP (Graduate Trainee Program) which is NEVER advertised (I think they stopped the advert 2011 or so).. So if fresh graduates are not called for this fair (maybe), their profiles are still registered on the Oando CV Manager website, and by that, they might be invited for the GTP program, If there is going to be One..

Have Faith..
Yes, you're right! Oando used to do a GTP, but has stopped that (after d 2012) set due to some internal restructuring....
Most of their recruitment now is based mostly on who you know in there....though God still does His miracle sha. If you have worked in Oando b/4, then you would understand better.
I guess the person who got d invite might probably someone in Oando.

Still hoping n praying that they send more invite to us here....
