For the group task, u can be given any scenario to discuss. For the group task in workforce AC, u would be in group of about 4 persons. U might be given a particular issue and three possible ways of solving the issue. So your task could be to thoroughly examine and discuss the various options presented and COLLECTIVELY come up with the best option/solution to the issue. It's advisable to avoid being an "oh! yes member" during the discussion. At the end of the discussion, you will collectively summarize your points in writing based on the options chosen and submit your write up to your assessor. Do not forget that you will have a limited period of time to discuss and summarize your points, so manage your time wella and avoid unnecessary arguments. Endeavour to arrive at a conclusion before running out of time.

For case study, you could be given a case scenario and asked to pinpoint the problems, solutions to the problems and your recommendation/conclusions.
For eg, you might see a brief outline about a company that was booming in their business area, all of a sudden, the same company started crumbling and almost at the point of folding up. So you would be asked to pinpoint the possible cause of this issue, the possible solution to revive the state of the company, and your general conclusion/recommendation. This is a personal task where u would be required to analyze the case and prepare a presentation (on powerpoint) based on your thoughts (problem, solutions, n recommendation/conclusion) on the case presented within a short time. At a later stage, you would be required to present your slide to the assessors.
Just endeavor to prepare like 4 slides touching every aspect of the issue (problem, solutions, recommendation), and make a convincing presentation. Be ready to get professional questions (based on d contents of your slide) from the assessors during your presentation.

Lemme chip in something here....
The 1st part of exercise in workforce assessment centre is usually d analytical exercise which is a written test.

It's pretty straight-forward. It shouldn't be an enormous task for someone who has come this far in d recruitment process. The test is about your ability to analyze data presented in any form in order to make a reasonable n productive conclusion/recommendation. Here, there's a wrong n right answer.....so be careful!

For example, u might be given a market survey's result of a new company who intends to use d Internet services of an ISP for their business. The ISP could have various internet services. In dis case, u would be given d internet need of d company and d various internet services obtainable from d ISP. So based on d data, u might be asked to choose d most suitable internet services for ur company. Here u have to compare d various options based on efficiency of d options to meet d internet needs of d new company while considering cost also.

Pls ignore my errors, had to make out time frm work to quickly write this.....

If u did very well in d verbal section of ur GRE, then u wouldn't have issue with SHL verbal cos it's easier that GRE verbal. However, u still need to practice to get familiar with d question format if u haven't written SHL test before.

For d SHL numerical, it's similar to d graphical analysis questions of d GRE. You can do a timed practice test from www.assessmentday.co.uk to get a real reflection of d question types for shl numerical. The numerical practice test on shldirect website isn't a true reflection of the real test. You can also do free verbal practice test on www.assessmentday.co.uk

In conclusion, for u to excel in shl, u just need to practice n practice with d right thing. SHL is one of the simple online job test as d format is well known.

....and remember to write ur test on time. Please avoid writing the test on d LAST day. Some of u may encounter issues while trying to take the test, such issues can be resolved by Shl only when you have few days to d deadline. Buh if u are taking ur test on d last day n run into such hitch, na sorry be ur case case they won't attend to ur case considering d fact that there won't be enough working days to resolve it.

I am going to relate my own story with the same Dana airplane, I did not check if it was the same flight but I was scared to hell seeing what I saw while on board.

It was a flight to Abuja with two of my colleagues, I sat in the middle right on the row where I could see the wing of the plane from the window. It was my colleague who sat on the window side that first called my attention to it. When we left Lagos the plane was very much OK and the wing was sturdy and firm as it glides through the pressure and air fogs in the cloud. However, getting close to Abuja and about like another 10 minutes to land, we noticed that a part of the wing was flapping as if it was going to fall while still in the air, I thought that was not normal. I continued to look at until we finally landed it really scary but I noticed most people were not worried even my other colleague on the extreme sit thought it was normal but I am sure that was a fault.

I suspect Dana Air has very old airplanes that might crash before they will take things seriously. I just hope the authorities so the needful before it is too late.

Your observation with the aircraft's wing while preparing to land is just normal. The wings normally adjust themselves while preparing to land. I've noticed that severally in Arik aircraft...

I was wondering why Oando even used dragnet in d 1st stage, because normally, SHL test is what everyone who works in Oando must pass. They probably used dragnet test in d 1st stage to screen some applicants out.
This is where u need to score well...

I wish everyone taking d SHL test huge success. And to those who re yet to be invited for d SHL test, just keep your hopes alive cos "it's not over until it's over".

Yes it is possible to update your uploaded document.
Step 1: log on in your account by using this URL

Step 2: Click on Edit your profile
Step 3: Then you would see your personal details, close to the icon showing your personal details you would see Document or Uploads. This section may not be visible if your application status shows pending interview (AM NOT SO SURE). My application status shows pending interview, but I can’t upload new document because the icon close to my personal detail icon has changed from Document or Uploads to two new icons (work experience AND Education). If yours has changed to the two new icons, then you may not be able to upload new documents except you send their HR a mail through careers@shell.com. All the best.

You can only upload the necessary documents such as transcripts, recommendation, etc during the initial application. You will not be able to upload these documents after your application has been submitted.

However, you can upload a new/updated version of your CV even after submitting your application using the "Resume/CV Manager"link. This applies to your Cover Letter too.

You can also update or edit your personal info such as Contact, Experience and Education after your application has been submited by using the "Edit your profile" link. Note that you cannot upload any additional document via this link whether your status shows Application Under Review OR Pending Interview.
