pazienza: This is alledged to be the last fairly credible Census ever carried out in Nigeria, as the subsequent ones were marred with irregularities. Though many still believe the British inflated the Northern figures in 1952, but there was never any contest over who was the most populous in Southern Nigeria.
You can compare the 1952 figures with the 1931 one: https://www.nairaland.com/3400415/1931-population-figures-nigerian-ethnic It's not possible for Hausas to have that population. They are more larger than that. The result is doctored |

By your logic, Anambra is a Benin land. Meanwhile, Benins are cousin to Yorubas That means Anambras by extension relates to Yorubas . |

The day you will move on and admit Afonja lost Ilorin, the better for you. Igalas are in Anambra communities. That means Anambra is igala land Igala language is a yoruboid language By your logic. Yoruba owns Anambra |

Dedetwo: Which Ibadan is bigger than Enugu and Anambra States? Do you think you are the only human being who has visited Ibadan? This is loudmouthed crap that tends to reduce most Nigerians none thinkers. The fact that Oyo State is a waste of land mass does not translate into a city like Ibadan bigger than Anambra and Enugu States. 1. If you've visited Ibadan, one thing I'm sure is you've not visited 10% of Ibadan. 2. Oyo state is a waste land, yet It has more industries than Enugu, her IGR is higher than Enugu (Both are regional capital oo) 3. Anambra landmass is 4,844 km² Enugu Landmass is 7,161 km² = 12,005km² While Ibadan landmass is around 10,000km². So what's the difference |

Lol, Oyo Is just 3 SW states. Osun, Ekiti and Lagos. Look at map Oyo landmass is 28,000+ Ondo landmass is 15,000+

pazienza: The East was determined. All those empty lands in Ebonyi, Abia North and Cross River North. Were marked for total cocoa plantations by the ENDC before the war happened. They would not be individually manged like in West. They would be privatized and well regulated by ENDC to make sure they didn't exploit the indigenes or pollute the land with harmful policies. Oh, Okay. |

engrchykae: when you are in owerri what you will encounter is students and nightlife, you will be wrong to use it to generalise about the southeast. When you are in anambra, what you will see is business and hustles,it will be wrong to use anambra to generalise. When you are in enugu, you will see a mix of business and nightlife ,you can't use it to generalise. Ebonyi is something else. Abia is more of indigenous industry, artisans, fabricators with little or no time for nightlife or pleasure. YOUR SEVEN YEARS IN THE EAST DIDN'T FURNISH YOU WITH ENOUGH TO KNOW THE IGBOS Yes, don't know of Ebonyi. Abia, don't have time or so for nightlight / pleasure. But IMO, Dem love flexing sha.
