Seriously, these guys have no idea what opposition is. How have they been able to convince a neutral person with aall these stupid threads they open up and down. Have stopped visiting politics session since those kids flooded it.
The same mistake they made while campaigning for GEJ, you don't campaign base on sentiments, you can only win the support of those that share your sentiments.

They dominate because they are united. Saraki is yoruba from the north, and Dogora is from a minority tribe in Bauchi, but they are seen as northerners. That is one thing we lack in the south. SW, SS and SE can never act as one. As long as that continues, northerners will continue to dominate. The only thing that separates them sometimes is religion.

When people say that 'what do ladies offer apart from sex?' I often say companionship and support, now someone is saying is it wrong to ask a lady for support, so what does the op now have left to offer.

For some people, boredom, while some are just irresponsible.

The annoying part is that those who do this are not so financially buoyant. Instead investing the money in a business or setting their mum up, they spend it on a girl, without any guarantee of marriage. Even if you can afford it, its still a bad idea. Nobody likes to be a maga.

They may not conduct another election, Inec may collect his certificate of return and replace him with candidate that scored next to him in the last election. That was how they did to Benue lawmaker who forged his ND certificate in the last election.

The online campaigners however were absolutely horrible, they spent all their time insulting, tribal baiting and trying to damage the image of the opponent not knowing all that would backfire big time. They unknowingly made Buhari more popular online than they could have thought. For example, the Chatham House appearance, the whole event would have come and gone with just regular buzz but they said so much rubbish leading up to the speech that they got everyone interested, in the end Buhari gave a wonderful speech and answered questions brilliantly even raising Buhari's profile higher

And you are very right about the Chatham house speech, APC never intended to make noise about it, PDP made all the noise on their behalf and Buhari's rating went up after that

Hope people can see why Jonathan was voted out. He allows money to be spent anyhow. I tried reading the article like twice, cannot see anything that will cost more than N100million. The invited guests will take care of themselves, does not cost money to block roads, prayer is free, don't know what activities they have for monday- thursdays, but can't think of anything that will cost a lot. The only thing that should gulp money is the dinner, and am sure that can be done with 10million naira. And Buhari has said that his people are volunteers, so where is the money going to?

There is a group of people that nobody seems to be talking about- the PDP online campaigners.
Those guys lost a lot of votes for jonathan. They spend more time insulting other tribes and muslims forgetting that you need a minimum of 4 zones to win election. I have a friend on Nairaland that was initially undecided, but finally decided to vote against Jonathan because of the way his supporters insults northerners.

APC seem more organised, focused and with a sense of direction. But in their list of priority, I didn't see power. That is my own number priority oooo. This power issue is becoming annoying. Just solve that, and a lot of other things will fall in place

The kidnappers are learners. Do they think that a millionaire's wife won't have her own car, or take a taxi. Driving round looking for someone to give a free ride to an expensive estate sounds like a bad idea, I only pity those that dress nice going to visit someone in such an area.

I think GEJ did most of his projects outside SE and SS because he expects them to vote for him. Doing the projects in other zones is to win their support. That's where I think he got his campaign wrong, most people aren't aware of most of these projects. Instead of making noise with what you did, you were busy attacking your opponents, making it look like you did nothing, and the online campaigners didn't help matters, I know more about GEj's accomplishment and projects than them.

My friend's 10 year Marriage is about to collapse.

His, my friend's genotype is AA and his wife's genotype is AS but their 4 year old daughter has been confirmed to have SS genotype by not less than 4 different medical experts. He confronted the wife and accused her of infidelity but she vehemently denied having any affair with another man. In other to prove her wrong, my friend subjected the little girl to a paternity test and there he got the shock of his life - the result showed he actually is the father of the girl. At first he accused the doctor of compromise because he is their family doctor and somehow relates to the wife. He then decided to go to another hospital to prove the paternity of the girl child there and then he got another shocker - the first result was actually correct. As It stands, my friend has consulted more than five other doctors outside the state of his residence and all Confirmed that the girl's genotype is SS and he actually is the father of the child despite his and the wife's genotype being as stated above. Even the doctor's are confused by the results as it negate conventional medical norm.

My question now is, experts in the house, is there anything that can lead to such unconventional biological flaw? Under what condition can AS and AA couple have an SS child? Can mutation lead to such condition? My friend insists on divorce because he doesn't believe the wife. Should he go ahead based on what we all know about genotype?

From my little knowledge of genetics, I think it is impossible, the only explanation I can think of is, the child belongs to your friend's brother. I think paternity is usually base on how close their DNAs are, in which case the girl's DNA will be close to your friend's brother. Just a theory, let me read up if its possible

People should understand the voting patterns of every region by now. The core north will always vote base on tribal and religious sentiment. The swing region in the last election was southwest, and north central. I still think if Jonathan had won these regions convincingly, he would have won the election, just like 2011. The subject for discussion should be, why did he lose southwest and north central. blaming Jonathan's lost on imams and northerners in my opinion is just passing the buck, and refusing to accept responsibility.

I had this argument with a friend recently. The truth is that all love is based on a set of conditions, especially romantic love. That's why we all have qualities we are looking for in a mate. what we are in love with is the qualities, the person is just fortunate to have them, and if peradventure the person loses those qualities, the love wanes. That's why some men will lose interest in a lady when she loses shape, and some will lose interest if he finds out that she is dishonest or had a bad past. You need somehow with influence outside their state to head the new opposition. I think Fayose is politically ok, but has zero credibility outside Ekiti state, he does not appeal to d masses of the SW and especially north. Agbaje is currently been seen as a traitor in the west. Wike, am not sure of. He seems too toutish to be draw support outside his base. What worked for APC was the masses support they enjoyed. Buhari has a good followership in the north, APC in SW had lots of technocrats that people believed in. Th only person I can recommend for PDP is David Mark and Akpabio. David Mark can pull weight in NC, and he can appeal to the SW, Akpabio performed, so has a moral ground to draw support.

Was just wondering the same thing. Most of the violence are from SS and SE.

I like the idea of soludo as minister of finance, but being an APGA member, APC won't agree to it.

This, exactly is my grievance with his campaign team. They focused so much on attacking Buhari and spent little time on GEJ's achievement.

technically, GMB has won the election, will like to hear your opinion on what went wrong. My opinion:
-GEJ made a lot of enemies-OBJ, Amaechi and the other governors that defected, Sanusi. All these (except Sanusi) would have won him the election, especially Amaechi and ilorin's governor

-His campaign should be a case study of how not to run a campaign. rarely talked about his achievement, and accomplishment, but focused on character assassination. Very few GEJ's supporters can articulate his achievements.

-He realized that people don't like him as early as 2012, when he complained that he is the most abused president on social media, but he did nothing to correct that.

-Tribal sentiments. He really divided Nigeria along tribal lines.

-His seemingly cluelessness, which was well used by APC against him

-The way he tackled boko haram. Insyead of tackling it, he was busy accusing opposition and northerners.

-His attitude towards corruption. seriously, that for me was my major issue with him.
