Jobs/VacanciesTen Questions To Ask Your Interviewer Before You Take That Job by seggzz(op):
I think interview should be two way communications. It should go beyond salary negotiations. To prevent slavery and torments on your job you need to ask your interviewers questions directly or indirectly. I knew of a company I have worked, it looked like I was caged and others. With the help of my past working experiences and other sources I was able to gather the following questions.

1. What skills and experiences would make the best candidate for the job?
This is a great open question that will have the interviewer put his or her thinking caps on the table and state exactly what the employer is looking for. If the interviewer mentions something you didn't cover yet, now is your chance.

2. What is the single largest problem facing your staff and how would I be in a position to help you solve this problem? This question not only shows that you are immediately thinking about how you can help the company, it also encourages the interviewer to envision you working at the position.

3. What have you enjoyed most about working here?
This question allows the interviewer to connect with you on a more personal level, sharing his or her feelings. The answer will also give you unique insight into how satisfied people are with their jobs there. If the interviewer is pained to come up with an answer to your question, it's a big danger zone.

4. What constitutes success at this position and any promotion if achieved?
This question shows your interest in being successful there, and the answer will show you both how to get ahead and whether it is a good fit for you.

5. Do you have anything to say about my qualifications?
I love this question because it's good. Also, you'll show that you're confident in your skills and abilities.

6. Do you offer or allow continuing education and professional training ?
This is a great positioning question, showing that you are interested in expanding your knowledge and ultimately growing with the employer.

7. Can you tell me about the team I'll be working with?
Notice how the question is phrased; it assumes you will get the job. This question also tells you about the people you will interact with on a daily basis, so listen to the answer closely.

8. Who previously held this position? This seemingly straightforward question will tell you whether that person was promoted or fired or if he/she quit or retired. That, in turn, will provide a clue to whether: there's a chance for advancement, employees are unhappy, the place is in turmoil or the employer has workers around your age.

9. What are my specific duties?
This help to know your duties. It makes you know your achievable limits in the said job. It prevents over work and indirectly ask your defined duties. You are not dust bin where every works is loaded on you.

10. How do you pay your workers here?
This helps you know your expected salary date. Some companies pay before the month ends or two weeks of the new month and such like this. Some pay in cash while some in banks accounts. You will not have to wait till the end of the month expecting salary in cash whereas it's through banks.

65-year-old woman burnt to death by cultists in Bariga, Lagos being taken away by LASEMA officials on Saturday, 23 Jan. 2016

A 65-year-old woman has been burnt to death at Bariga area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, as cultists set a bungalow ablaze during gang war.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the bungalow located at 19, Oshinfolarin Street, Bariga was set ablaze by some hoodlums suspected to be cult members

The arsonists were said to be on a reprisal attack at about 9:00am on Saturday.

General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Michael Akindele confirmed the incident.

He said the agency’s Emergency Response Team, ERT, along with the Lagos State Fire service, Lagos Ambulance Services, LASAMBU; State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU and the Nigeria police from Bariga divisional police station, responded to the distress call.

He said information revealed that the cultist had been terrorising the area since Friday before attacking the affected building this morning, trapping the occupants inside and setting the building on fire.

“A 65-year-old woman known as Adejoke Adefuye was burnt beyond recognition in one of the rooms. She was the only mortality recorded and has been taken to morgue by SEHMU. Other occupants of the building sustained minor injuries that have been treated by LASAMBUS.

“However, the whole occupants of the building have been displaced and might need urgent temporary shelter. The inferno was finally put out at 11:55am,” he said.

The LASEMA boss said that proper investigation would be carried out by security operatives on the incident, advising Lagosians to assist the police with necessary information.

I guess you lie to impress readers. This is bad.
It's true and I know of this friend of mine who cooks as early as 4:00am.He must have grinded his pepper and other things inside the fridge. And other of his cooking plans and methods.
It's not to impress, it is to make people to be aware of overwhelming benefits of cooking at home other than eating up all your money on food. I know of a guy that earns 140,000 naira monthly but before the month ends the money is gone. He doesn't drink, womanise nor spend wastefully on clubs.

FoodFive Reasons You Need To Cook And Eat At Home by seggzz(op): 10:04pm On Jan 22, 2016
Cooking is an interesting thing you can do for yourself. I feel you should take cooking as one of your priorities this year. Remove eating out habits and embrace eating and cooking at home for the following reasons.

(1).Cooking at home is economical.
You need to cook at home because it helps you save money. It makes you know life is not only about food. Man shall not live by bread alone. The least amount food you could buy per plate is N250. You could spend almost all your salary on food if you eat out in eateries and others. And at home, you could spend 250 naira on a food that could last you a week without stress.

(2).Cooking at home is healthier.
Almost all food bought at the canteens or eateries are cooked with unhealthy ingredients. Vegetable oils for example is not healthy and you see them cook with it. The food you eat outside contain dirty water, spoilt tomatoes and bacteria or viruses from sneezes. You will monitor what goes into you as food and select good food items for yourself, if you cook and eat at home.

(3).It prevents spiritual backwardness.
Some of the food you eat outside your home are prepared with charms. You may eat food enchanted unintentionally. I have heard stories on how a man saw human fingers on his food after prayers. And many evil stories related to eating food at canteens or roadside food sellers.

(4).It prevents insults and embarrassments.
Cooking and eating at your home prevents public humiliation. Most females I have seen are either insulted directly or indirectly. The females especially the spinsters or married women are looked upon with bad looks. Not only females, I've seen a married man who was insulted because he couldn't avoid to pay for sachets water.

(5).Cooking at home improves your cooking skills.
Cooking at home makes you know new and healthier ways of cooking. It improves your cooking skills as a female. If you are a man, it makes you learn how to cook. Make cooking as one of your hobbies. Continuous cooking throw you to vast lives of cooking and fun.

Agubushmenyo:
We have always criticized the female folks without trying to know the root of the problem. Here are some 8 Lesson I wish we guys know about girls. Read on and be Wiser in dealing with them.

#1. If she flinches when you try to put your arm around her…someone else’s hands once wasn’t too sweet.
#2. If she's full of questions, someone else lied to her in the past. Be patient with her.
#3. If she's secretive and doesn’t tell you things outright, someone else once betrayed her trust. Prove to her you wont do the same.
#4. If she suspects every move you make, someone else wasn't transparent with her. Be different. Be transparent with her
#5. If she's cold, distant and hostile with people she's just meeting and even sometimes with you, chances are someone ABUSED her in the past. She's a victim of abuse like RAPE. She's still hurting.
#6. If she’s clingy and possessive, someone once hurt and dumped her. She's scared of being abandoned again. Assure her of your love.
#7. If she's playing hard to get, someone in her past once treated her like a doormat. She just want to be sure you are real.
#8. If she's sneaks and wants to know all about you, someone wasn't straight with her. Assure her you are different. Talk to her.
LESSON GUYS: Behind every difficult and complicated girl who Is scared to love freely is a girl who's is tired of being hurt and broken. Be patient with her.
My brother, if you have this mentally you could forever be friend zoned. Females are creation of magic. You need an encyclopedia that is large enough like the earth to study them.

Can you give reasons why the men behaved the way they do?

On your own if you allowed girls to scam you because of these.

This is exactly what I was trying to tell you. You do not read the Bible to understand, you read to criticize. smh. Paul was making a case that the gift of prophesy is higher than speaking in tongues. You successfully ignored the part where he said "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries".1Cor 14:2 You see what it means, which I have explained to you is that when you speak to the brethren in tongues you MUST interpret but when you speak unto God, you don't need to because God understands you. The speaking in tongues is a gift, Paul said, Do all speak in tongues 1 Cor 12:30, that you or your Pastor doesn't have the gift doesn't make those who have it evil and it doesn't make you less of a Christian either. It is the Holy Spirit that gives these gifts and does so according to the assignment we've been given.

My brother, your walk with Christ will be largely ineffective if you don't have the right attitude to studying the word. Also, do not read the word of God out of context, don't pick verses that agree with your opinion, that is what your understanding is about the part in Chapter 13:8 which says tongues will cease. You read that part alone and you are quoting it forgetting that it is actually a verse in a chapter.

I pray that God will grant you deeper revelation of his word that your walk in Christ might be effective, but you need to drop this attitude to get that understanding. Have a Blessed life!
"speaking in tongues ", a proof that one has holy spirit? the late Herbert Armstrong made it plain that "the gift of 'tongues' spoken in the Bible" is the ability to God in other languages. In other words, it is the ability to speak in human language that one has not learned before in other to propagate the gospel. If you read the 21 verses of acts chapter 2, you will see speaking in tongues is more than what you understand.

Well, I will tell you that make your path clean and stay away of doing dirty business like scamming people. You don't pretend to scam people under the name, prophet.

If I'm to go in details with you like some believe that such tongues-speaking is related to the episode of the “tongues of fire” in Acts 2:3. Others believe it to be the “baptism of the Spirit” predicted by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:11). Beliefs differ, too, as to whether the utterances mean anything in any language. Some believe the utterances to be the “tongues of angels” (1 Corinthians 13:1). Others say the languages are unknown and cannot be known. Still others believe such utterances to indeed be known foreign languages spoken today, or at least previously known languages such as ancient Hebrew. I still disagree that speaking in tongues is not not a foreign language. The unknown as described in the passages I quoted also mean foreign.

well, I don't need google for that. Its a very simple thing.well, that aside. My questions is; do you understand tongues.put differently;can you interprete it even when you're in church and some one is speaking.
The Bible say if there is no interpreter you should stop the tongues. Can you type out your own tongues? Does the Bible say it is the same tongues for all Christians? Don't you know people of those days hear the preaching in their different languages by the apostles? And meanwhile the apostles can't speak those languages on ordinary situation.

Are you saying you passed the remaining points highlighted on this topic except tongues? Are you a prophet? Send me your phone number and lets talk.

Bro, I question your understanding of the bible in this regard. Please study to know not to criticize. I have tried to answer all the questions you raised but only the Holy Spirit can teach you. You see your problem with understanding this scripture is that you have a negative mindset about it. While Paul was trying to make a strong case for prophecy because it is a higher gift, he made some salient points about speaking in tongues too. Infact he said I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than ye all. Interpretation of tongues is a gift too and some people do have them.

I have explained to you earlier my brother, that there are 2 manifestations of speaking in tongues. If you have heard of the Azusa conference of 1904, there was manifestation of the 2. My brother, it is important that we run this race personally, discount what you've been told by your pastors and ask God for accurate knowledge of his word. He will grant it to you. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things.
Personally, I speak in tongues and I see the benefits everyday, the testimonies are endless. If you say someone is learning the thing or faking it, let them, the Holy Spirit can take over from there.
I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he INTERPRET , that the church may receive edifying.
1 Corinthians:14:5

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth EDIFIETH the church.
1 Corinthians:14:4

Do you interprete your tongues? What's the sole purpose of speaking in tongues? Is there any ways speaking in tongues in the Bible the same from now?

A lot of people here have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. Most of the points the op raised are basic but as with everything he had to mix it up with HERESY.
If you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong. That you don't experience it doesn't make it evil. There are 2 manifestations of speaking in tongues in the bible. The Acts2:6 you are quoting is a manifestation and 1 Corinthians 14 expantiates on it. It talks about speaking to God, no man understands him but he speaks mysteries. The Bible specifically called it angelic tongues.

I fact on that day of Pentecost, the people first thought they were drunk because they didn't understand them then much later started hearing them speak their own language. Please read your bible well and stop relying on just what your GO says and preaches.

So OP get accurate knowledge before you criticise or better still just shut it. God didn't give you that responsibility. Run your race and fight the good fight of faith.
Is the speaking in tongues that is done today same as that done by the apostles?

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not love, I have become a sounding piece of brass or a clashing cymbal. Love never fails. But whether there are gifts of prophesying.... Whether there are tongues, they will CEASE.(1 corinthians 13:1,cool

Does the Bible mention speaking in tongues with interpretation?

I can tell you about a friend who learns how to speak in tongues. All who speak in tongues today don't understand what they are saying. Speaking in tongues was a practical means to spread the good news within short period.(Acts 1:cool

Can you quote any place in the Bible where people doesn't understand their tongues?
You see today speaking in tongues today has been the order of the day. Before a pastor preaches today he had already started making tongues. What are we talking about self?

I shutter to think that in all the post about religion today nobody keeps quoting the bible as a source! Does it mean the bible doesn't provide answers? Are there no example of how Christianity started from the scriptures? Was this the pattern they used? We are all learned yet relatively few seem to read the bible and understand what it says. Read the book of Acts, Romans Corinthians those are all accounts of early christians before you start making your comparison.

Young man, Tongues are not understood because its like you talking "Privately" to God. Even a Pastor of a big Church(Wont mention name) was speaking in tongue and members in spirit who were able to grab what he said(Note i said in spirit), revealed he was seeking for forgiveness for the adultery he committed the saturday before the Sunday.

My point?

its not to be understood like saying "Our father who art in heaven". Thats why that pastor decided to pray in tongues because he knew what he did was shameful and he couldn't say openly "God forgive me for sleeping with my wife's sister" NO! He has to pray in a language ONLY him and GOD understands at that moment.

So in summary, concluding its demon tongue because you don't understand is just a mistake. You do not have to understand it. If you read ancient scrolls/manuscripts and collections of most of Jesus ministrations to possessed people, he spoke in foreign tongue no one understood. The bible of today just translated all to English does not mean he spoke English or words everyone understood at that moment. Even i have prayed in tongues once, so i am fake? I am demon?

Thank you.
Pastor, according to acts chapter 2 verse 6, we were made to know those people of other languages understood them.

What is the biblical purpose of speaking in tongues?

If the purpose is to speak with angels, which language will be use to communicate with God?

If I may understand, the sole aim of speaking is for ministry and not for self glory. The Bible made us know that speaking in tongues has stopped.

If you are doing some of the points highlighted in my thread then you must be fake. If you're not fake, can you tell me the color of shirt I'm with now?
