frankputer:
Good one.
No more hand to hand payment.
time to eradicate estimated billing
don't even go there, it won't and would never eradicate estimated billings. the banks won't bill you, remember, the discos would do the billing all you have to do is, do your payment to the banks.
this might be for accountability of which I'm in doubt, cos the banks 'emselves ain't accountable. it be a ploy between both industry to enable the discos increase electricity tariff. all would here is at the long run is 'as a result of the new payment system, the discos are bearing to much financial burden due to bank charges by so doing the would have to increase tariff.'
don't this whole scheme.

even if they make it constitutional, it is still not constitutional.
the legislators are about trampling on some people right.
there is fundamental human rights, which supports the UNIVERSAL ADULT SUFFRAGE, with law some members of the society is about being disenfranchised.
isn't this a kind of constitutional crisis in the making?

who do this old men think they are deceiving? when his party was in power for 16yrs they refused to, likewise never deemed restructuring fit for us. after being booted out and leaving the seat of government he is barking restructuring.
though his cry might sound good but how sure and genuine is this man and his like wailing restructuring endlessly? they had the best opportunity of restructuring this country but failed us. how well are every parastatal and organisation bode headed faring today?
beside this are genuine. we don't need restructuring but the right leaders that would lead us right, distribute our resources and common wealth evenly. even in the face of restructuring and a restructured society if we don't have the right set of leaders to handle our affairs, we out a failure worse than we are now.
they keep deceiving us with restructuring knowing fully well our challenge is that of leadership.

This is my general advice:

If you are building through direct labour, get material and labour schedule from a QS (I can do this for you). Buy the quantities of materials stated in the material schedule. Negotiate the labour cost base on the amount in the labour schedule. Supervise it yourself or get someone you will negotiate with for supervision It is that simple.

This is the best way I know to get the best deal/bargain. It will save you a lot.

Have you ever checked your history books to see what this countries went through to arrive where they are today...

Romance › Re: I Felt Cheated By My Girl by SEGLIZ: 9:52am On Aug 22, 2020
davedy:
Good evening Nairalanders

I'm sorry for bringing up to this platform but is of necessity for me to bring it . I've been hearing it from people but I don't know how they do feel about it. I've heard stories about how a lady cheating on her guy and a man cheating, but all these stories I do see them as fantasy or something that is not real. I've heard about a lady killing herself because of her boyfriend and I've heard about a boy taking sniper because of a lady.

Recently, I was in love with a lady in my office and this lady she is 35 years of age, I am 37 years of age and I asked out, we started dating after a period of time, she told me about herself, after all in the place of her work, she has dated about three different persons that she had sex with them. People in the office do gossip about her because of how waryward life. They do call her prositute. With all that, I still love her.

Before I came on board, she told me about her neighbour and all what they've done like touching and kissing was the highest they have done and I said ok.

We started dating and working towards marriage. At a time, we got intimate. I never knew that she was still seen her neighbor. She do go to his room to charge her phone. I never knew that they were having sex and she was having sex with me. she always claim that I'm the only person she is having sex with but I have this kind of feeling that she is cheating on me. I do always argue and challenged her faithfulness and at the end, she will put up a defensive mode accusing me that I didn't trust her.

Some days ago, when i challenged her with evidence of cheating. She confessed to me about how she and her neighbour been having sex and I was heartbroken, that night, I slept in a house I couldn't get it, I never knew that I love her so much, that was a period I knew that I was deeply in love with her. I feel like dying, I feel like everything is over. I love her so much, I want to marry her. Few days ago, I travelled to meet with my parents and discussed my marriage issues with them, I told my girl about it but she didn't blive. With all these, she didn't feel remorseful. I wish I had never met her. I am in pain.. What should I do? I am a confused man now.

Please move to front-page. I will appreciate it. Thanks.
@davedy the earlier you call it off the better for both of you.
you said she wasn't remorseful, it shows she unrepentant.

Women only like successful men even in marriage... Hmmmn.
Most Nigerian women won't contribute their effort, yet they like to reap from where they did not sow. If she doesn't wana have a chit chat, leave her alone.. Continue your hustle shikena. When things get better, you sef form Jagaban for her. That time you will sleep in the kitchen sef, na she go run after you. grin
I hate nonsense.
I'm in 3D support of your view but still men are meant to be men not by our balls but our intellect. we are because of our brains, really our partners might be frustrating even when the bed is well not only when the bed comes rough. Man is out from MANAGER time to bring out the of us is during trials and down time.
it show the woman is not a supportive type, but still man really need to go heart to heart with her to know before concluding. there might be some other things she can't really pour out due to the present state of thing believing she don't want to bother him further. doing this would save the kids from undue aggression from the two pillars of the home thereby bringing lasting happiness that would see them through this trying time.
to my able bros who posted this @obaayoa why are putting unnecessary stress on everybody now? please the only way you can take the stress off ma'am and those love innocent children is by not stressing yourself. stress is not a thing of hustle and bustle but of mentality, stress is a mental illness as a result of you being bothered.
no matter how stressful your hustle and bustle is your would not get bothered for as long as you are enjoying what you do. it won't have an effect on your mental and physical well-being but the moment you stop enjoying what you do then stress sets in.
like @daddytime and @meetme01 said it is time to catch some fun, enjoy the times the way they come. life is just like the pages of our books it keeps flipping, you enjoy the story line in some pages while you don't to some other pages.
I beg forget this whole thing, you have at one point or the other shown aggression to that lovely and beautiful woman of hence her reaction. women are wired to be sentimental while we men are wired to be rugged due the rough terrain of like it is now. so I take Jesus beg you first and foremost bring back the happiness of that home by creating fun.
you've to turn a comedian to make your home happy. we all have our rough patches but learn handle and manage to so everyone would go to bed smiling hoping and can't wait to see the next day knowing there would be fun even when are not sure of the flavour that would make our tables look rosy and belly dance for joy.
bros life is too short to belly stress and grudge.

who is no descendant of Abraham?
even the Bible confirmed it, we all are descendant of Abraham. the Ishmaelites (today's muslims) are descendant of Abraham.
everyone went to be associated with good things.
it isn't about being a descendant of Abraham but hard and harder to be a part of Jesus covenant, and make it to where father Abraham is.

it is a four bedroom bungalow and location is Ibadan
that this is on the high side I would repeat.
his supervision fee might be responsible but truth he has placed the real cost as hiding changes that has being embedded in all other workmanship fee.
this the more reason you see some people supervise their projects themselves. get a reasonable quantity surveyor to quantify the structural plan. after doing this run your price check of every material needed to know where to get the best at reasonable price.
if the quantifier or valuer say, you'll be needing 6000 bricks, even if it is on the high you know you'll buy bit by bit, same goes for sand and other materials that would be given in quotation but would never be brought to site. you'll have supervise yourself.
look for a good bricklayer with experience negotiate charges, don't negotiate daily payment with same but place him on contract.
negotiating daily pay would only make things worse. he might charge 3000-3500 for himself and between 1500-2500 for his labours, this way they reap you off by wasting time (days) on the project as result of them extending their work days which would keep costing you more.
but if on contract they don't waste time for they are running at lost spending more time on your project. if your material and finance can take you to lintel or roofing level you agree on what amount he would charge to finish up. the number of day they spent in working isn't your business any longer. you pay them in part (probably twice) then balance them on delivering.

how many bedrooms?
irrespective of the number of bedrooms, for a bungalow that amount is on the high side, your location though.

nature remain an entity with different names and characteristic from different fields of life. one of it is SOCIAL SYSTEM.
the social system consist of the following: family, economy, religion, education and politics.
this whole element of the social system are meant to help have a better society but today it is the other way round.
why don't we blame family, economy, education and politics for our woes but we are fast to blame religion? it still part of the brain washing.
religion has taught no one person to go evil but man has grown too wild, weird for its enclave. no one religion has taught man evil but man remains the real problem to himself. man got religion polluted, family, education, economy, and politics all got polluted by man.
family: was meant for love and procreation,
education: was to bring about enlightenment,
economy: was to distribute our wealth and resources,
religion: was to teach morals and guidance,
politics: was to oversee them all.
but what do we have? a system that has lost it value. our main problem as a nation is just that we have lost our value system to modern age. we got our values, norms and tradition replaced with civilization now here we.
civilization is good but it shouldn't have been at the expense of who we are. all we needed was the good and juicy load coming our way but adopted even the evil coming along with civilization to replace good values, norms and tradition.
