Though there is nothing wrong with this news if true however I suspect DSS perpetrating this to nail Nnamdi Kanu!

We know the DSS maybe giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it. We know that their 'investigative prowess' does not go beyond that. We are still waiting for the 'cocaine and prostitutes' they claimed they found with Kanu. cheesy

As the daura secret service that you are, we sane yorubas can now see that you only exist to protect the fulanis who go around killing and maiming other southerners.

How many times have you released a statement when fulani kill and abduct our people in yorubaland. Where is the statement you released when Mile12 was razed to the ground by the Hausa/fulanis? How about the fulani killings and abduction in the Middlebelt SS/SE. So fulani cows should live while others should die?

Any yoruba muslim and zombie that supports this statement issued by Buhari in proxy is cursed!

No it does not and you should know there are Idoma villages in Enugu state.

Op I'm not surprised. Ever since I stated going to FB, which is not anonymous, my eyes opened big time.

Majority of the people on NL against Biafra are Yoloba and Hausa/Fulani.. head to FB, any topic about Biafra, pull it up and I can bet you 95% that post against it are either yoruba or hausa/fulani.
Even now, I'm starting to doubt whether half the yoruba on NL are actually yoloba. You wanna know why? On RB FB, you'll see a dude with northern name and northern attire with location in some northern state writing shit like "I'm SS, blah blah blah" or "I'm yoruba blah blah". I swear to you....even in an non anonymous site those slow mofos mask them selves so I'm starting to believe they very likely does that shit on this site as well. I will not be shocked

You raised a great point. One Idoma guy from Olegamakwu at the meeting said something similar to your post that they also have Idoma muslims in Idomaland, they tend to align more with Hausa-Fulani, and some even leak out information. You see the same trend in yoruba, Igala, Auchi in Edo.

Sometimes i wish our yoruba muslim can be packed into a bus and sent to the north forever. They are the reason a fulani emir is sitting our heads in yorubaland. They are the sabos amongst us. Nonsense!

Politics / Re: Opinion: How To Resolve The Biafran Issue by SegunAdewole: 7:38pm On Apr 09, 2016
NaijaTalkTown:
[s]NOTE: This is just my opinion and no matter how one sided it seems, it is my opinion and I am entitled to it. Criticism, disregards and counter claims are allowed.

You gave me the impression that you were for one Nigeria but it turned out that you are not. I have been following your comments and it reeks of tribalism (your loyalty belongs to your tribe not your country), you are not patriotic and you harbor hatred for the Northerners except the ones that share the same political views with you.

You gave a flawed analysis of how the Igbo's will not be losers should Nigeria divide (which convinced me that hatred has blinded you to reality) and you play the victim's card each time you post a comment. You have failed to properly identify the cause of the whole problem but I will help you.

Nothing was wrong with Nigeria's unity in the 50's and up until 1960. In fact, after the 1959 elections, the North and the Eastern regions formed a political alliance that saw Nnamdi Azikiwe and Tafawa Balewa as President and Prime Minister respectively. The president had more political power but the political system was well formed. The only first issue that arose in this political alliance was after the 1963 population census. Population census by manual head counting will always be problematic in a country like Nigeria so it was normal when the Eastern region accused the Northerners of inflating their population to get more seats in the Parliament. But it is a known fact that the Northern region is the most populated region in Nigeria. The region is Muslim dominated and most Northerners marry more than one wives and gives birth to a lot of children. So why the Easterners may be right with their accusation to an extent, common sense dictates that Northern Nigeria is more populated than other regions in Nigeria. You must understand that trust is vital in any alliance in other for targets to be effectively reached. Accusing allies when they are not guilty is a sign of distrust that can damage any alliance.

In 1966, General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi led a group of military men in Nigeria's first coup d'etat. Northern leaders and elites were killed as well as Western leaders. No single Eastern leader was killed. Obafemi Awolowo was imprisoned for no reason. Every sane and rational person on earth need not to be told before concluding that this coup was a crusade by the IGBOS to dominate new nation called Nigeria. Before the creation of Nigeria, the Hausa-Fulani empire was expanding through out West Africa, Yoruba culture civilization was spreading slowly and steadily, the Igbo empire was spreading too. It spread to the Niger Delta, the Cameroons and Southern parts of Africa. In Sao Time and Principe, Congo and some other South African countries, Igbo is recognized as minority ethnic group.

The Hausa-Fulani empire were indeed expanding, but so was the Yoruba empire and the Igbo empire. The only difference was that after independence, all forms of violent proclamation and conquest of communities were stopped. Even though the battle for conquest went on, it was through the political system (democracy) that the Hausa-Fulani empire and the Yoruba's try to defeat their opponents at the polls. But the Igbo's through Aguiyi-Ironsi decided to use military might to attain power. This was the beginning of the marginalization of the Igbo's. The elites and political leaders of the Northern and Western region formed a political alliance and managed to convince their own people not to support the Eastern region. Political powers were shared between the Western regions. Though there were internal crisis, patriotism to Nigeria has always kept this alliance together and this led to the coinage of the slogan "One Nigeria". The Easterners are driven by greed and hatred, this the Northern and Western ruling class are aware of and have managed to keep them in check since the 1996 coup.

Following the counter-coup that killed Aguiyi Ironsi, General Yakubu Gowon (a non-Hausa Christian) was installed by Muslim soldiers as the military ruler of Nigeria. This was to send a message to Nigerians that tribalism and religious differences should not divide " One Nigeria". In 1967, Yakubu Gowon decided to divide the 4 regions in Nigeria into 12 states. This did not go down well with the political ruling class of the Eastern region because dividing regions into states means the will lose control over the region located on the bight of Biafra (the Niger Delta) and some parts of the Middle Belt. The Easterners rejected Gowon's decision and declared independent and control of the regions now known as South East, South South, and North Central. This led to the bloody war that killed over 2 million Easterners. But Ojukwu's army was over whelmed mainly because the military heads from the South South and North Central were not committed to the war because their loyalty belonged to Nigeria (but that is a subject for another day). The war ended in 1970 when Biafran army surrendered to Nigeria.

When democracy finally returned to Nigeria in 1999, a political agreement was reached by the North and the West on power rotation and sharing formula and this formula included keeping the Easterners at check to prevent another civil war. But in 2011 when luck smiled on Goodluck Jonathan, he won the presidential election which caused a brief disruption of the North-West political plan. Goodluck Jonathan is from the South South region (a former part of Biafra). This was an opportunity for the Easterners to make negotiations and amendments and claim their vacant political spot in Nigeria. But they didn't see it that way. They saw it as an opportunity to pay back. They became the most vocal people in the society. They down looked other regions because "their son" was in power. The Easterners went for supremacy over diplomacy, same thing they did in 1966. This only proved two things, that is, the North-West alliance was right for keeping them in check, and that they are unrepentant crusaders that will never seize to stop trying to get the right to declare themselves the "ultimate species" of Nigeria. The Easterners, through their own political short sight ness shot themselves in the foot again like they did in 1966 and the South Southerners once again showed their political maneuvering ability like they did by the end of the Biafran war by switching side to Nigeria' side.

The likes of Nnamdi KANU and Uwazuike can make noise all they like just like Ojukwu did, but if they decide to go to war with Nigeria, what happened in 1970 will happen again.

In conclusion, I would like to state that the issue of Biafra' was caused by "Biafrans". The Biafrans have failed militarily, and will continue to fail militarily. The only way to resolve it is to go back to the diplomatic table and make amendments, kr else, the Easterners will continue to be marginalized go protect the integrity of Nigeria's geographical territory.[/s]
What makes you almajiri think that fulani leaders like Buhari has the right to be pro-hausa/fulani/muslim without being condemned for being tribalistic but when Southerners like falaye or Ojukwu are promoting their own ethnic interests they should be condemned.

Listen very carefully, by the grace of God nigeria must shatter to pieces so that peace will reign. The signs are there you almajiris are demented but I know you are not demented enough to think you can wish away the imminent fall of the biggest zoo that have claimed more lives in Africa since the beginning of time.

Go to hell with your round table and one nigeria preachings. It has fallen already. grin
