Bride cries out as husband cannot perform sexually After reading through some of your articles on MATTERS OF THE HEART on dailyfamily.ng I decided to share my story. I have two objectives of sharing this pathetic story of mine, one, to educate every young single lady out there. Two, to seek advice on what to do. Growing up as a young lady, I always look forward to that day I will get married to my own husband, have children and in a happy home. But what am currently seeing now is the total opposite of my wish. I met Tunji during my NYSC service in Kwara State, he is a handsome young looking guy, smart and a banker at one of the new generation banks in the state. Just a year into our relationship, he proposed marriage to me. It was a wonderful thing to me and a surprise as he did this on the eve of my birthday. Without wasting time, I quickly gave him a “YES” answer. Three months later we got married. On our wedding day, we received so many blessings from both parents and wishes from loved ones but it seems none of the blessings and wishes is working in our marriage. The episodes of the story started on my wedding night. As a young lady and a newlywed bride, I expected that night to be special (you know what I mean) but what I experienced was a total difference. My newlywed husband cannot perform his duty as a man (sexually), I mean his pen!s did not rise at all. It was just like a rubber hose. At first, I thought it was due to the stress he went through during the day, so I decided not to bother him as I just went to bed like that. But to my greatest surprise, this went on from days to weeks and anytime I ask him he always gives one excuse or the other. Two weeks ago, I decided to take it rough with him not minding what will happen. We fought for the first time in our marriage. Although he was begging me, but I told him to tell me the truth or I will quit the marriage as I can’t continue to be living with my husband like a brother and a sister. The following day his mother came (I believed he called her), it was his mother who now explained everything to me. According to her, Tunji had a serious sickness that almost claimed his life when he was much younger. On treating the sickness with different kinds of medications, it affected his manhood (pen!s). The pen!s is there physically but cannot rise. She later said on noticing this, they consulted a medical doctor who told them there is nothing they can do to make it rise but assured them that it does not affect the potency of his sperm. Meaning that the only way he can have children is through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). On hearing this, I busted into tears. I never believed Tunji can do this to me. He never discussed this with me during our courtship. Now, he and his family are begging me not to leave him. The issue now is not about having children through IVF but the fact that I won’t be satisfied sexually and I don’t want to cheat on him. Alleged Female Robber Set Ablaze An angry mob has set an alleged female robber Ablaze in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State. The alleged female robber was burnt to death by an angry mob in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State for allegedly aiding armed robbers carry out operation of stealing motorcycles. The alleged robber, Vivian was a graduate of Federal College of Education, FCE, Obudu, was also accused of killing an Okada (motorcycle) rider in the area early this month. According to report, Vivian was set on fire on Saturday after she was asked to provide her boyfriend, which she failed to assent to. She was then lynched and later set ablaze before the crowd. A Facebook user who goes by the name, Tomclassic Amunde Jnr who also witnessed the act said the Police were on ground but couldn’t save Vivian. “I was there Live and saw it all. Two well-known Police Officers were standing beside me watching the whole scenario. Most of us from the opposing view, our opinion didn’t count because we were so little compared to those who were chanting the burning anthem. “It took up to an hour before she was lastly burnt,” Amunde said. “I came out of my house this morning and saw some boys beating up China and asking her of her boyfriend. I identified some of the boys to be cult boys belonging to the KKs. They told the girl to call her friend. She took her phone, tried to reach her friend but it was not successful. Help! My lady is yet to get over her first love Dear Matters of the heart, I am in a relationship with the lady I called the love of my life. I’ve been trying to get her for years since she was in a serious relationship and wouldn’t even give me chance. My name is Joseph but I’m popularly known as Joe especially where I live here in Lagos. I got married to this lady Bolatito 18 years ago and we are blessed with two lovely children, a boy and a girl (ages 16 and 13). I’m a businessman and my wife is a hairdresser (she owns her business). We are doing fine both in business and family life. My wife is very submissive, caring and loving but never knew she is a wolf-in-sheep-skin until the recent incident which revealed her true identity. As a businessman, I’m always busy during the week but my weekend is for my family, I always create time to spend nice time with my family (wife and children). Lest I forget, the only bad habit I see in my wife is that she is addictive to phone (social media). She is always on different social media platforms chatting, at times she will just burst into laughter while pressing her phone, even when we are discussing something serious. Of course, I do complain about this, but her excuse has always been “I’m using it to promote my business”. So, I decided to hold my peace. Last Saturday, we were having a nice time in our sitting room with the children when I noticed a strange reaction from my wife. First, she was smiling while pressing her phone then she ran to the bathroom and after about 5 minutes she joined us in the sitting room. Not too long her phone rang and she picked and all I could hear was “I’m fine” “Nice doing business with you”. For a while, I was thinking about the “Nice doing business with you” phrase but later discard it as I remember she is also into selling of cosmetics and jewellery. Not too long just as I was about to forget the first drama another one showed up. She received a call and immediately asked the caller (I didn’t know the caller’s sex, since the phone was not on speaker) to chat her on (Whatsapp), then after 10 minutes she stood up and say to me “honey I’m coming” and I replied her with “No problem dear”. That moment I became suspicious of her movement. After about 2 minutes she left the sitting room, I quietly walked to our bedroom she was not there then I noticed she was in the bathroom talking to someone on phone about price. I heard, “that is the last price for your demand ” and she ended the call with “I will send it now”. I moved closer to the bathroom door and spied through the keyhole, I almost fainted with what I saw. Guess what, my wife, Bolatito mother of two was naked, snapping her private parts and sending it to someone. I couldn’t take it anymore and since I don’t want to have someone’s blood on my hands, I left the place, took the car key and went out in anger. I later returned home that evening, she asked where I went to without leaving any message but I lied that I received an urgent call from a friend. I even said sorry to her because I don’t want her to suspect anything. I later got hold of her phone that night when she was fast asleep, thank God she didn’t password it (maybe it is because of the trust and respect we have for each other). My heart bled as I opened her Whatsapp messenger. It was full of different pictures of my wife’s private parts sent to other men (her clients), with payment details. I quickly forwarded all of them to my phone as evidence, and then woke her up and confronted her, at first she wanted to deny it but I showed her the evidence immediately she saw it she burst into tears and started asking for forgiveness. Please, my people, I don’t know what to do as I can’t withstand seeing her and remembering this stuff. I also don’t want my children to suffer by sending her packing. My fiancé of five years dumped me for another lady, what should I do? Dear readers below is a story of love, betrayal, forgiveness and rejection. Love is something we strive for and something we mourn the loss of. Especially when it is true love. No wonder a lovesick panda once said that “if you’ve never been hurt, you’re either very lucky, or very lonely”. My story started on a happy note but gradually ended on a sad note day by day. I spent a good 5 years of my life with someone I believed really loves me. I met Charles during my final year in school and we became friends, three months later he proposed to me and I gave him a YES answer two months later. After two years of our relationship, I told him I wanted to know his people but he kept on posting me. Giving me series of excuses like he would like to take me to them when everyone will be around. Meanwhile, anytime I visited him we do have sex before leaving. I was doing this not because I was cheap but just to satisfy him and to restrain his eyes from other ladies. Four years after, nearly all my friends who were singles when I met Charles were already married but the reverse was my case. One Saturday, during my visit, I called him and said to him that “I would like us to get separated since it seems there was no future for the relationship.” He held my hands tight to him and promise to take me to his people soonest. A month later he took me to one of his uncles and introduced me to him as his wife to be. I was happy a bit because I actually wanted to meet his parents not his uncle but I thought half bread is better than nothing. Weeks later, he stopped calling or picking my calls and when I visited him he gave different excuses. A month after, he packed from his house without no one knowing his new place. I later got to know that he is now living in Port Harcourt with another lady who he impregnated. It is now five years, and I can’t still believe what happened to me. Now, the problem is I now find it difficult to love again as I keep chasing away any man around me. Breaking: Buhari Declares June 12 Democracy Day, Honours MKO President Muhammadu Buhari has announced June 12 as the new date which Democracy Day will be celebrated in Nigeria. He also conferred a posthumous GCFR title on the presumed winner of June 12, 1993, presidential election, Moshood Abiola. The President in a tweet on his official handle explained why June 12 will replace May 29. He noted that June 12 is a more symbolic day. “Dear Nigerians, I am delighted to announce that, after due consultations, the Federal Government has decided that henceforth, June 12 will be celebrated as Democracy Day. “We have also decided to award posthumously the highest Honour in the land, GCFR, to the late Chief MKO Abiola. “In the view of Nigerians, as shared by this Administration, June 12, 1993, was and is far more symbolic of Democracy in the Nigerian context than May 29, or even October 1,” his tweet read.
