I have many of those shit growing around my chest bt I tried so many thing even the so called python fat oil applied so I was told to go for surgery and after that I will Kip applying some cream
That's exactly why I made my comment on page 3 of this thread.
If the mod isn't careful, his case will be worse than the picture I attached to my comment.

Getting expert treatment especially at early stage like his isn't expensive as people think especially in teaching hospital. People run away from hospital bcoz of cost. You can use Govt hospital. If his keloid get worse, he'll spend heaven & earth to bring it back to the present stage. He can't even confirm if what others had was keloid or some other reactions.

Keloid is incurable but can be properly manged. If care isn't taken, d more u try to smoothen it on Ur own, d bigger it'll get

Guys I had a bike accident that left me with visible keloid scars on my right arm (pictures below) how do I remove or flatten them and cost pls?

Edit : I also have some on my leg but it's not visible so I'm not that bothered
I am a medical student. Normally, I don't like commenting on Nairaland before people will drag u in d mud with their tribal bigotry. However, I think it's right to address some things on this thread.

Keloid isn't a disease or a mark of cultists or wicked people. It's an abnormality in the healing of wounds. It's a hyperplastic scar that affects majorly the negroes (black/Africans). It can be genetic sef.

U should go to hospital as soon as u notice any symptom of keloid for better management. It's usually a painful, itchy hyperpigmented/dark swelling that results from minor injury/cut. If u try other means like cutting it to smoothen it, apply ice block or hot water compression, it'll get bigger & darker than u can ever imagine. Steroids as some are suggesting may help but the side effects in d long run can kill u if taken inappropriately. Keloid is incurable but you can manage it. That's why u should visit a hospital, most preferably teaching hospital.

Not all keloids require steroids or surgery. Other treatment options u can get from experts(Plastic Surgeons/Dermatologists) in teaching hospital include use of ;
* silion gel/sheet
* compression therapy with tight Clothings for months
* Radiation therapy
* interferon Therapy among others.

The more u try to smoothen it on Ur own the bigger it gets. Go see your doctor for expert treatment except you want your keloid to turn into what you have in this picture

I didnt even know an Abian footballer was shot. Where did this happen? Was this in Aba or where Why did they shoot him?

May his soul rest in peace.

God have mercy on Aba people. They are going through a lot.

Orji Kalu was convicted and sent to prison for stealing their money.

EFCC uncovered sworn oath where Ikpeazu surrendered Abia treasury to TA Orji....who himself was bathed in blood oath at Okija shrine when he succeeded Orji Kalu.

As if thats not enough....Ikpeazu is in Aba right now sharing eba and egusi to coronavirus lock down.

God will deliver Abians, IJN, Ashe!

We have people like you that claim not to be yoruba but are yoruba. E.g Joe Igbokwe
Stop denying your tribe..
And mind you, whatever an igbo man sees today, it will take you yorubas 10 years to see that! If igbo man feels sidelined always then that's becos it's the truth!
Stop attacking igbos becos they are in your region.. If you want them to go then pay them for their investments they have in the land already. Thieves
...even if d whole world tell u that 'Igbos link every of their predicaments to tribal attack', u'll still claim they hate u & Yorubas bribed them.Everything is 'because it's Igbo'. Can't u stop suspecting? Only suspects always suspect others

I ve been to both city , u don't compare the 2

There's a huge gap , enugu is in class of Abuja, Calabar and ikoyi

While ibadan is in class of mushin , onitsha and idumota

In terms of atmosphere , enugu city is second to none

I'm from Ibadan & I've spent some years in Enugu. Enugu is more beautiful compare to Ibadan. Well organized, good road network & better residential buildings. It's far neater than Ibadan. However, it lacks d major facilities Ibadan has. Ibadan has more social amenities. By d way, Ibadan is a very big city. Most parts of Ibadan will beat Enugu in many folds while some parts will fall flat before Enugu. The major issues I have with Ibadan is their dirtiness & houses. Most of them see these as norms

Guy although this Makinde is trying but let me be frank.

Ibadan is one of the worst town to spend Christmas. There is no festive mood of any kind, people are not joyous as this OP is suggesting. Ibadan is 80% Muslims.

You need to travel out of ibadan to understand what I'm saying. Even Bauchi in the north is more festive this season than ibadan.

Quote me anywhere. Na the first time una dey see Christmas light.... Gerrarrahere meen.

A Little More Light
My attention was drawn, by a very good friend, to the story making the rounds, that a certain Goodness Thomas was denied admission by the ABU to read for the degree of MBBS despite scoring 302 in the last UTME.
I made some inquiries about the matter and wish to share my findings with you dear friends.
However, before I do so, let us understand a thing or two about University admission process.
The minimum requirements for University admissions is credit pass in at least 5 subjects including English and Mathematics. This being the minimum requirements does not suggest that a student with distinctions in 6 subjects including English and Mathematics must be admitted.
There are other requirements, and circumstances, that guide the admission process apart from meeting the minimum requirements eg the attainments and performances of other candidates.
Now let's take a look at the case of Goodness Thomas.
She scored 302 in the UTME exams, and 274 in the Post UTME. Thus having an average of 288 out of a maximum of 400 points.
The Ahmadu Bello University has as its catchment area the entire 19 States of Northern Nigeria, being an indigene of Kogi State she belongs to the fold.
However, in the last UTME, more than 20 Kogi State indigenes that applied to ABU for MBBS had scores of 320 or more.
So what do you suggest the University should do? Jump over all those other candidates that had higher scores from her State to give her admission? Admit her alongside all those that scored higher than her in the examination from the same state with her?
The University offered her admission for BSc Human Anatomy.
Remember there is a very low limit to the number of students that can be admitted for MBBS; it is the most competitive programme of study in Nigerian universities.
Which University can afford to give admission to all those that crossed the minimum requirements line?
The Ahmadu Bello University is, I stand to be corrected, the only truly national University in Nigeria today, going by the geographical spread of its staff and students. As our former Vice Chancellor, the late Professor Adamu Nayaya Muhammed of blessed memory was fond of saying "there is no local government area in Nigeria that is not represented in ABU”
This is just an attempt to throw a little more light on the issue. It is not in anyway 'speaking' for the University.

In fact, their attitude towards me made me convince my parents to send my siblings to my sch in SE. Igbo Amaka
