Hi OP, if your bank (UBA, I presume, from the screenshot sent) insists the transfer was successful, and the beneficiary's bank insists no transfer was made to his account, then isn't it possible you made the transfer to a wrong account?

I have seen this happen firsthand.

Here's what you should do;
1. Please confirm from your bank the account number, bank, and account name the transfer was made to.

2. If it's actually your friend's name and account number, then get both of your statements of accounts (this can either be printed or gotten from the mobile app/online banking)

3. If there is no trace of the transaction in his account, but it's in yours then you can escalate as you see fit.
