Remember people bought at N2.5 to N3. So they will keep selling to quickly take profit even if it is N1 gain that they made. This is because they will be comparing withe dividend with their gains.
Correct, baby and mother approach ( what is this 40k compare to my N1.50k capital appreciation)

Crude swap can be done but it will be denominated in 'dollars' even if there is no exchange of cash.

Dangote has interest in some oil fields so supply is more or less secured. Transaction will still be done in dollars.

On landing cost, yes it should reduce BUT a lot has to do with pricing. The experience with cement should be a guide. Local production is yet to bring down the price of cement.!
The formula for transactions in Oil and gas industry is 60% Dollar and 40% Naira.

That report is false and meant to deceive. Yok should stop bringing such nonsense here!!! Those guys didn't even state the main stocks msci are currently offloading.
Please we need Yok, His report is okay for some analysis. It is like commitment of trader report. What is the

fund doing to the stocks in their numbers is what matter which you have to see if it is correlated with the market overview.

They should not be the only fund on NSE. But when there is sustain move of the fund in one direction in line with the general market. This could call for action to a discerning investor. Obviously the fund is not NSE

yes I can, N12. no jokes. Just look at the impairment charge so far taken, 35billion. add that to their profit so far= 41billion. On a good day, diamond bank should be just under Access bank. They just need to clear their NPL which ratio stands at 9.5% with the bulk of it (52%) in the oil sector(which is recovering) They should also make something good out of their recent divestments which is aimed at converting ti a national bank . Mind you the CAR for national banks is 10% as against 15% CAR for international banks. This would free up alot of cash for the bank.

Makers of Indomie Noodles are gradually creating a monopoly in that market. After buying off Dangote's noodle business last year, they are close to buying the noodle division of another quoted company and about to commence talks with yet another quoted company making noodles. Is Dufil Foods company quoted and if so on which board?
This is expected. The coy is not only creating monopoly in this industry ,it is being extended to

pastry business. Chin-chin is no longer ordinary business for common men.

Don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about my Oga. You are brighter than that. Fortunately for you, the majority is not getting what I'm driving at, and helping you to attack me instead of giving me a well deserved award for my timely discovery and courageous exposing.
Now, this is a private and secret discussion between you and I. You and I know that the bear all over the world for about three weeks now was caused by sentiment and sentiment alone. This has been proved worldwide since three days ago.
Efforts have been made worldwide expecially in U.S . to attenuate this herd scenario. Veteran traders in America has had the cause to address traders, telling them to be patient, that the economy and the fundamentals are strong.

BUT Sir, on the contrary, what have you been doing here? I put it to you that you have been doing all you could to promote and exacerbate the bearby adding petrol and gas to the herds scenario for obvious selfish reasons.
Rabbi, my jolly jolly Oga, I hereby appeal to you to repent and apologise to this heavenly ordained forum, to promote the cause of stock trading in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Tolu's man,
Humm, anything can cause bear. as well anything can cause bull. It all depends on market sentiments. Anyway if you have a system in place I do not think you will have problem with Oracle's posts. You are rubbing oracle with oil then little by little you set fire on it grin grin. Oracle is not the only person that sense danger. He tried as a mother hen to protect the chicks, but most of us still did not hear.

We all are actually not meant to hear depending on your investment philosophy. AS bulls cycle will not last forever, so the bears cycle.

I know naww. That's why I was vocal against forum members that were churning out all manner of prices for some stocks.

Shebi Sam Loco don run comot from Transcorp. Same stock he exchanged words with me when I cautioned him about his price prediction. Likewise OneGentleGuy (abi na GodlyGuy, I don forget self) on Skye Bank and Dangote Flour.

Funny enough, the bears are not yet here. This is just knee jerk reaction to DOW and other markets. We will understand more when the market goes for correction. I pity the newbies though.

We keep watching shaa.
Sure bears never come. This is a sympathy move to other exchanges.

@Oracle

I dey enjoy you ojare. I lost a lot in 2008 due to trading on margin.

I bought fundamentally sound stocks, but my impatient broker sold them to

offset the margin. Kai I came up with rule 2. Never borrow money to trade.

Time is always a good friend to those that bought and hold below the fair

value.
