NBS did not bring about the bull.
If you check NBS reports very well, they spoke from both sides of the mouth. Same NBS says recession and still talked about improvement in the economy. They are confused and they tried to do dmange control after reporting the recession.
The thing is, if you missed out of the bull, another opportunity don dey present itself...............No one should bad mouth the bull.

My thinking is that, If they already know we are in recession why the bull?

So in the longterm, the bull may not hold. I dont see market going up during recession

Market will not change much. For the much I know, we have been in recession all the while. NBS just made it official. Banks are still cashing out looking at their results. Companies are not faring badly looking at the results they have posted. If you sell, you might not find the same stock to buy cheaper.

Ask yourself, if there is a boom what happens to stocks?

The opposite should be expected in recession

Transcorp has delivered over 100% in less than two weeks, Livestock over 100% in a space of short time, Intbrew, banking, industrial and some others.
Both bear and bull are welcome, planting and harvesting time......make nobody come use bear threaten and scare person jare

There are other factors to judge fundamentally strong stock. JB passed my radar.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was surprised that selydion said it's the only fundamental stock left. I am still wondering why the hit in their 9months result was that bad considering that they have lots of jobs ongoing particularly in the south east and south south. I hold some quantity BTW but will appreciate anyone who could shed some light into why their earnings turned negative. Perhaps they will pay dividends from their retained earnings

JB posted a negative earning nine month ended September 2020.
The stock market could be very unpredictable though.
Last year was good for the company but the price did not go anywhere.

We are in a bull market and I think we are getting to a point where prices are driving up more by sentiment than any fundamental.
Will not be surprised if JB joins the bull even with the negative earning.

Actually I cant blame HIM. I have to cut loses here too, I leave what I could for long term.
The announcement was made at bearish period, however it could not lift the stock. Many were trapped.
Tony took his time to release this annoucement again in a more elaborate way and moreso during
bullish period. that is what you are seeing now. Whatever happens keep learning and take responsibilty for
your trades

Arduino, we discussed this thing here extensively that time. The news even took Transcorp to 1.60 something that time......but later, gradually when there wasn't any green light about it, no info, people lost hope and started selling....more especially when transcorp released bad fye results........people also expressed fear on where they'll get money to pay for Afam and it was discussed here that they have the money already...or something like that.
Think Currentprice even recommended it that time too.
That was how I was telling you to buy diamond that time,towards last minute and this same village people did not allow you. You better come and pay me royalty make I go help you appease them.
