Wonderful MCY. Before one can say that this market is bullish stocks have to break previous highs to form higher high. Anything could happen from here, your advice is good but staying in cash and watching for the entire market breakout to take action is better. Mcy56: I took this teeth shining to mean "shebi I said it that it is/was stage managing" Hhmmm. Oga Selly after how many days/week(s)? Chai!! No one can satisfy human beings.
Anyway, if you pay much attention to the movements, maybe you will look beyond that. I think the red we are seeing on the floor, in banking sector expecially has to do with some analysts negative view and report of the special FX bill. Seems some cant really figure out what it means for the economy and the banking sector, hence various analysis on it. Tomorrow we hear a different thing again.
Eitherway the market respond, its still Mr. Market and it will present opportunities or provide capital gains. It's just for us to benefit from it. Reason its very important for individuals to know why they're in the market and what they buy into. What I know is that we are in the last quater and there'll be various activities. Whosoever is in sound fundamental stocks should not panic unnecessarily. It is well. |

Strategy: When it goes up - Fine When it goes down - wait N7-6 When it goes very down - buy more N5-3 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Time frame is not cast in stone, I can exit as long as I am in profit. If in loss position, collect dividend. Thanks @Loco locodemy: You can only be sure of now not tomorrow. Fbn may or may not be in existence. Your timeframe is too long in this volatile market.
Make it only one season and subject to review after the season if at all you wanna go long term
Best advice bro |

Bro, you just said what is in your mind , I dont play blame game here. Go and read that post again and underline the blame section. Then I would say sorry If you cant please let us take caution. PharmAlfred: Bro, remember that guy is solely responsible for his decision. Don't try to blame other people for it. If Access turns N15 tomorrow, will you still say this? Good thing is that the young at least bought a healthy/sound stock.
Stop pushing the blame agenda. |

I no be JJC, I am sure that @ is a misquote PharmAlfred: Someone of said GSK is expensive because of of EPS of 36kobo. I bet you are new to investing. Wapco is selling for over N20 but has EPS of 1naira and some kobo. Access has an EPS of N2.90 but is selling at N8 today, Union bank 56kobo EPS but trading at over N5 while Fidelity with 70kobo is trading below N2.50.
There are a lot of factors that account for valuation. I believe OGG and Currentprice will help you out.

bro, this is not yet time to strengthen hope, this recession is Almost World Wide, People should watch and wait, Down movement may linger than you think. PharmAlfred: We have seen this pattern play out again and again. If you want to sell, just go ahead and sell but remember recovery is already in sight starting from today. Most stocks will close higher than you expect. Bargain hunters know this and have already bought to their fill.
Also keep an eye on GSK vaccine news.
Happy investing. |

I am not selling this yet, I bought for 2021 in view, It does not matter what the market is doing now. The way to profit in bear market is dividend. GSK is fair enough. kalkah: Don't panic yet, I bought GSK last week Monday in the Morning 6.95, it drop to 6.4 same day. Then on Tuesday it started rising in the Morning hoping to that it will drop in the afternoon just like how it happen on Monday it did not drop and it was on full gear till Friday.
Unfortunately I set buy order at 6.85 and 6.7 on Friday, before I login this morning the order has been filled, my average price is 6.56.
Let wait and see how Market behave this week, anyway I will sell some this week when the price reach 7.2 that will give me at least 7 - 8% profit and my average price will go down to 6.26. |
