I agree with your conclusion. Registrar are not doing well at all. I suffer months and continious emails before some of them eventually paid dividends essentialone: Veritas is rubbish. Their staffs are blind
Imagine ooo
On my CSCS Statement of Account, my name is written as:
ATTAHIRU BOLANLE CHIBUIKE
The confused Veritas people say that mean my surname is ATTAHIRU. I told them my Surname is CHIBUIKE.
They said I need to go and do plenty plenty processes to do correction of name at CSCS. I told them they are sick. If the arrangement of the names is their confusion, they need to go back to Primary school. They can only conclude that my surname is written as ATTAHIRU, if the names had been written like this:
ATTAHIRU, BOLANLE CHIBUIKE
But there is no comma after the ATTAHIRU
In fact as I always say, for one reason or the other, Registrars do not want to pay dividends to investors. Registrars are the major causes of Unclaimed Dividends! |

SEPLAT is going to get massive. They are acquiring more production assets from a Majoy oil company. emmanuelewumi: It can only be a winning stock if it is fundamentally cheap with future prospect for a predictable earning growth.
A winning stock that becomes fundamentally expensive will become a bad stock |

It is a personal opinion let the market decides. PZ is also good for current price. Most international manufacturing companies are pickup previous loss value. GSK is worth more than N8. naturalflow: leave fidson aside, this is what you will quote in 2months time~~~ I cannot buy Glaxosmith at 8naira,but I will buy Pz @14 naira.cheerssssss |

Both stocks are good to buy. The currently bull favours producers and manufacturing companies, It show in their first Q results. I have a feeling that Africa Free Trade agreement is the catalyst. No need for debate. GSK did well beyond the old normal, Fidson perform excellently. Lead goes to Fidson. sonofElElyon: You and ogg should have a healthy debate on gsk he believes it's grossly undervalued while you disagree.. should be an interesting debate ! |

Friend where do you do your borrowing and with what collateral? Heishere: Correct, which is why I don't borrow from stock brokers. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by sellydion: 9:01am On May 13, 2022 |
The best that could happen is not to borrow on margin, if done and a brutal bear market starts your broker would not be smiling. If you can fund repayments through salaries, rents or dividend that is good. Heishere: That used to be my rule until I discovered it is a yeye rule. I borrowed funds to buy MTN and NAHCO. My money is almost doubled in MTN. Have paid off NAHCO. MTN will be payed off by year end. My brother if you see cheap loan collect. That's how the rich get richer. |

Sir, This against my rule no 1, never borrow to trade stocks emmanuelewumi: You need Stockbrokers the can give you loan to trade or for personal needs. Instead of selling your shares at a loss you can get a loan which you can use for other Investments or businesses |

@CP well done, I remember asking for this formular long ago. Now I didnt ask , you gave it out freely. Thats fine for me, However, I think deduct capital expenditure should be, deduct change in capital Expenditure currentprice: PAT + Depreciation/Amortisation +/- working capital changes
then deduct Capital expenditure from the the number to arrive at ur FCF
Reference Dr. abraham from SMN
you can as well read everything about the FCF on the internet, there are many ways to arrive at the number and go for the one that fit ur other metrics
