One thing I fear most in relationships is being heart-broken because I've got no capacity to contain the pains. I waited due to all these till about 2years after my secondary school to get into one though I'm never short of girls all around even till now on the campus. Of recent, she got on my nerves and she knew how terrible I felt about it but I've been noticing the thread in her for long, she was recently absent from my family naming ceremony citing being ashamed as an excuse and we've been together for over 4years yet she's ashamed!!! Hmmmm, Could you imagine this? Again, all thru these yrs, I was the one doing the visiting and she still complain of the same problem of visiting me at home save for a one and only time she came on a new year's eve when on visit to her sister who lives in my neighbourhood. Even at school, I need to persuade her sometimes of visiting. I still don't know what to do with her. Can any help with a meaningful advise? |
Wow! I took pain reading all thru everyones comment and I appreciate your replies. Mine is with me as well, I live in my hometown, Badagry, most of my yrs but couldn't speak my mother tongue FLUENTLY despite getting on along with most around. All because of the fact that I live with my uncle and my mum only speaks to me when she visits. One good thing is just that I understand it and always criticise others who BASTARDIZE the names and I can proudly say today that I left my secondary school before I was able to speak English real good. These so called Private Schools now are one problem too many to tackle as well calling one's pride and culture a VERNACULAR,OMG!! The future of our language is going to be worst and not worse because you could imagine the so called learned English as being just rubbish as well. |

Nothing spectacular again. A visit to the campus today was as if I was at the grave. What needs to be done must not be shy away from. Gov. Fashola knows which way he ought to handle this, strike is not always the answer. The VC to me isn't the major culprit. |
Its no longer news that Chief Dokpesi has been detained by the SSS over the independence day bombings. What baffles me is the manner of which the revelations are revealed. There is always an iota of truth in every lie but how realistic can this be? Is it a movie script written but not well directed and produced by the gurus? Time will tell. |
It has been speculations and labelled rumour but now a statement of fact that Lagos State University, Ojo is on strike. A statement from the ASUU LASU President says 'since the govt has not act and fail in fulfilling their promise, they have no option but go on strike.' LASU needs divine intervention to be appreciated. |

It is a statement of fact back with crystal clear evidence that Nigeria got independence on 1st Oct. 1960. Please who knows the date of the amalgamation? There seems to be a record of the date. |
The hype and euphoria about Nigeria's independence is high at this time of the year. A good look at the past really shows that the past is just rewarding to now- maybe the future will be better. One cannot but tell those who care to know that, our dear country is not 50 yrs old but 96 yrs old. Dating back to 1914 when Lord Lugard amalgamate the Northern and Southern part shows we are that old. care must be given however and notice clear to all that, our leaders as well as we the followers are just a bone of problems to her growth |
Lagos State University, LASU has begun an indefinite strike for now. Unconfirmed gists in the campus put the strike to last 4wks, some 3 months while others say 6 months. Only God knows how long. |

I wonder why most things in Ngr are done with first impression and most food companies stray away from what they first produce. I was thrilled and found it exciting when I first tasted Fibre Active Biscuits making me remember Digestive Biscuits but alas I noticed they recently reduced the content in each pack and the taste and quality is depreciating. Hmmnnn, are they going the way way of Cheese balls and others? |
Though I didn't watch AIT's presentation of IBB as a saint to the end, I believe him choosing Dokpesi has his media head was to gain cheap popularity. How awful can this nation be viewed sometimes when the likes of IBB make their way to the screen? By God's grace we all wil witness the election and see the outcome. He is not the messiah we need in Ngr to me, Obasanjo has 'fooled' us coming back as a civilian head of state, not again with IBB. make ur vote count, no to IBB. |
Hello, I was recently given this topic and I need relevant sub-topics to gather to my list and see how far it can go. My topic is thus: global economic crises: a challenge to infrastructural facilities development in vocational education. I'd be grateful getting responses on time. |
@Nerd: my reply was meant for 190 not you , sorry |
@Pretty Boy: That was just pretty of you. 'Most' girls just believe so and wait on guys as if we are the prey they need to devour. |
@Nerd: must bearing children be a criteria for this? I'm curious on this subject matter after hearing a guy complaining of his spouse with who he bears most of the issues for calling, visiting and others whereas the lady do little or nothing making excuses of her parents and she is old enough but dependent on them. She only visit him once in 5 months after much persuasion. |
Starting a relationship is a step based on experience and maturity. Two different people are united as one. Getting to know the true nature of the other partner can be difficult as well. Come to think of it, is it the male or female who is to cater most cos I stil don't know why most esp the female assume the notion that males should be held responsible for their upkeep. I need response to know why. |
My answer to this topic is simply other believers apart from those who go to the church of Christ won't go to heaven simply because we are none denominational unlike others. I hope to tell U more based on replies I get. |
