Any how sha,me go give u the benefit of the doubt and try out ur suggestions b4 reaching my verdict.

Its so good of u to help other fbtricknocrats with their zain download prblm but I thought any ip that can dwnld will do so to any length n capacity.I downloaded 39mb of pb in over 2hrs wit d ip I'm using.The issue here is speed of download and not size of download or cant ur ip download more than 6MB?

How you carry know say they no fit surf Adult Sites

I know sey of all the things wey I post na the one wey go concern you be that but seriously if U're using an ip from an islamic country e.g Egypt,Saudi Arabia,U.A.E,Iran etc chances are u won't be able to surf adult sites.It's just simple common sense cos access to these particular sites are blocked and restricted in these countries.

Yeye peole.Make dem continue to dey eye and not take concrete action.Mtn was no where near vodacom in terms of subscribers base in subsaharan africa but because of their investment and entry into the Nigerian telecom sector alone,they have long overtaken vodacom.

All these one na story and playing to the gallery jare,Etisalat came into the Nigerian telecom sector without making too much noise and drama so they should do the same.

As far as I'm concerned a download speed of 1-6kb/s is as good as not been able to download.Sometimes the download speed no dey even reach kilobytes sef as na b/s person go dey get.

Guy,different ip's have different speed and abilities.Some will work on operamod n not work on wap browser.Some are slow while others are fast on both pc and phone.Some can download,while some cannot.Some work on pc but with restrictions as they can't surf google,yahoomail,adult sites,hacking sites. etc.All these are just examples.I've tested over 20 ip's n I've discovered this.So u just have to test as many ip's as possible and find the ip that works best for u and stick with it.

@Toluxa,no special settings o.Just1n fomerly jtlyrics was getting that kind of speed too.Ask Initialize about his download speed on his N95 with Mtn and u'll know its possible.

Its perfectly true o.Peeps using N95 were downloading at speeds of 100kb/s and above in the good old days of yello.

Mopera or Operamod 2.06,they're all not working with my mtn but working with my zain sha.I think what I'll do is delete both from my phone and reinstall them again.What has been holding me back is that I have so many important bookmarks on both and I access this bookmarked sites with my zain sim.-----SEE? cos na big wahala to dey type in the add of everysite wey person wan visit.

See,what I mean everybody got issues with fbt.I've even gotten a damaged sim card as a result of this free browsing wahala and to make matters worse my extraconnect mtn sim card doesn't browse anymore whenever I insert it in my phone.Zain gave me a yellow card on pc and phone from like 12pm to 4pm,and I'm only able to browse now thats why I've been off Nairaland for some hrs. DOES ANYONE HAVE MORE FREE BROWSING ISSUES THAN THIS?I guess NOT.

My bro has been surfing the net on his phone with MTN at breathtaking speed since morning(its like flipping the pages of a book)and I cant even browse with my own mtn talkless of downloading from any site which some Fbtricknocrats are still able to do.

Since this MTN 504 gateway error download problem started,I 've not been able to download shishi with my MTN and infact I've been doing my downloads with zain at a very slow speed of 1-6kb/s with my phone wapbrowser via operamod 2.06 but in the good old days of MTN before the 504 gateway error started I was downloading at speeds of 40-50kb/s on pc and phone with MTN not 30kb/s as Toluxa posted.The only thing worthwile I've downloaded with my zain is Ep 13 of pb which was just 39Mb and it took me about 2hrs to download.All the others have been jar files and applications which are in kilobytes.

Finally,Let me just add that this whole browsing wahala is taking too much out of me,and its really wearing me down.I never knew browsing could be so much stress.THIS CONDITIONS WERE NOT SPELT OUT WHEN I SIGNED UP TO BE A Fbtricknocrat.Infact I tell most peeps who now ask me for pc fbt configuration to go for the normal OPENDENTIAL browsing and not waste their time with all these BACK DOOR browsing wey we dey do.
