Thanks for ur concern and help.I've done what both of u suggested and I'm getting the same INSERT SIM prompt with 2 other phones.E be like se na WELCOME BACK go solve this my problem last last o.Mtn don dey open office for my head small small be that cos the last time my phone was stolen with this same sim and I went to their customer care office to do a welcome back,I spent about N800.

I think my phone has gotten accustomed to the environment of zain cos my mtn sim no gree browse anymore when I insert it in my phone although my bro still browses with his own sha and he changes sims just like I do.Any how sha,its all good as I neva get the tin time.Zain rules for now

Guys,I need ur help badly-----Becos of the problem with Mtn Fbt,I've been swapping my sims between my phone,that is my mtn extra cool sim and my zain sim.I did this regularly without any problems but this evening I got the shock of my life when I removed my zain sim from my phone(S.E k800i)and put my mtn extra cool in my phone to make a call,and I got a screen which told me to INSERT SIM.The network bars were there,infact full.I switched off my phone,removed the battery,brought out the sim and placed it back,after which I put the battery back and switched it on again but alas I got the same screen with INSERT SIM.

I then put all my other sims ,----my mtn extraconnect,etisalat,zain,and glo in my phone and they all came on without any problem.-------------I have since tried every thing I know but----------the sim still no gree work o.----------Guys,I need to make that sim work cos its the no most of my contacts have of me.I'm thinking of doing a sim replacement cos I've done it for this no before when my phone was stolen.

I'm bringing this to the floor just in case,there's a person here who has got the midas touch.

To SMS my problem,my mtn extracool sim gives me INSERT SIM when I put it in my sony ericsson k800i phone whereas all other sims are working perfectly.

I like the concept of the cd jacket,the cover that is.It shows Modenine is an intelligent rapper who reads widely and extensively---------It reminds me of a line from his ''its a goal track''--where he said u all don't get booked because u don't read.

At times when I listen to his tracks I''m amazed at the depth of his knowledge and some of his punchlines------mentioning Chairman Mao of the Chinese Communist party n some other stuff.-----Listen to the track ''Africa'' he did with Tu face Idibia and u'll understand what I'm saying------- It shows he puts in work before putting pen to paper(apologies to O.D another ill rapper),as in, he does a lot of research just to get a track done.

Finally,I know u all are dissapointed that I ain't stoking the flame between supporters of Modenine and Ruggedman with my post but no,no,no, I ain't jumpin on that bandwagon-----F that sh*t,that sh*t is played out already.

I also think the sky is big enough for many birds to fly at the same time,so y the obvious beef.

I have the latest versions of the 3 browsers on my laptop.Now there's a place where I go with my laptop to browse with wireless and sometimes I run the 3 browsers simultaneously and I've discovered Mozilla firefox beats the other two hands down when it comes to speed and so I"ve designated my firefox specially for browsing with wireless.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT,I was referring to how fast u"ll recieve the settings from mtn and zain just by sending the appropriate text message to their respective GPRS activation numbers and not some backdoor activation method which is obviously what u have in mind.

For GPRS,WAP and MMS settings,write SETTINGS in an SMS and send to 3888.To get MTNfastmail settings,write MTNFASTMAIL and send to 3888.Unlike zain,MTN is very responsive and u'll recieve the settings in a jiffy and all u have to do is install the settings.

By the way,nice phone u've got there.It aint bad for a java phone.

It's surprising Seun stopped the prisonbreak season 4  thread from running in this section of nairaland  but funny enough, there's another section of this  forum where a prisonbreak season 4 thread is running up till today.Infact the links for episode1-12 are in that thread,so the guy looking for ep1-13  and the guy looking for ep 11-13 should go to that section and get  the links for for 1-12 and 11-12 respectively n give honsule less work,jare .That section shouldn't be too hard for u guys to figure out na.

Yeah, consistency pays but sometimes ur ability or inability to browse also depends on your location.Its what I've experienced  btwn  my  home and a particular place I go everyday,so it may not be about the trick at all.
