I love the fighting spirit of Muani and Thuram. They positively impacted the game for France

Up until the 79th min, this was in line to become the most boring WC Final in recent memory.

But Muani, Mbappe and Thuram have turned this game on its head!!!

Deschamps' Conservative approach was on show for the most parts but his ability to select players again coming to the fore!!! His changes have given France their only shots on target today and both have yielded Goals!!

Who would have thought??!!!

We are not done oooo... I salute the drama of this World Cup.
Marcus Thuram and Kolo Muani especially. Credit to Mbappe for the goals

Thuram's penalty denial is more of a penalty than DiMaria's

Sorry they are not petty AT ALL.

JUST RACIST that's all , we are used to it.

If that was Rashford who had missed that penalyhe would be hanging on the gallows with never ending abuse. But not even a whisper of criticism against Kane.

Saka was in my opinion the best player but who gets substituted first . He be should have been left to play. He was more effective than Kane.
Why hasn't the English FA sacked Gareth Southgate?

Or

better still, why hasn't he resigned?

He's failed at three tournaments - two World Cups and an European Championship

That's enough for him to be relieved of the job!

First match of this world cup I'm watching and I'm wondering how Senegal qualified to the Second round.

A credentialed wrestler stands the best chance of beating Pereira. The only name that comes to mind is Khamzat Chimaev if he goes up to middleweight.

I like Izzy, but I fear Pereira may hand him a third defeat..like 70%.. That Brazilian bro is lethal and they both have almost same height and reach advantage, plus Pereira is a harder hitter.
Izzy is more skilled, faster, has better movement, better cardiio, more MMA experience and will pick him apart.

The 1st Kickboxing fight was a close one. Though Pereira got the W, many believe Izzy won it. In their 2nd fight, Izzy was ahead on the scorecards until he got caught by that left hook. Before that KO, Izzy hurt Pereira so badly that the Ref gave him a standing 8 count.....but that's all in the past.

Izzy has evolved and doesn't fight that way anymore. He's disciplined and sticks to the game plan no matter what.

Izzy for the W and still......

To get nomination, register multiple EOIs on the 'federal portal' like you call it. For each EOI, select one state and indicate if you want 491 or 190 and if your occupation is on the 189 list, add it to the list.
For example,
EOIa - NSW 190 (tick the 189 box too)
EOIb - NSW 491 only
EOIc - SA 190 (tick the 189 box)
EOId - SA 491
You should create at least 4 to open up your chances. You can use same email address but note down your EOI numbers and passwords.

Then monitor each state migration website for their nomination requirements. For example, NSW requires ROI for 491 but not for 190.
If a state nominates your occupation and you did not create EOI for them, you can create a new one asap or modify one of the EOIs you have to that state.
The state points are automatically added when you select the visa class on EOI.
The federal draw is only for 189 and not for 190/491
If you apply for ROI in SA for example and you meet the requirement, you will get a pre-invite to submit documents to the state within 14 days. After which the state will approve your nomination and you get ITA directly from your EOI.

In the same vein, its odd that she was silent on the men's award, which was also based largely on club performance.

Look, Oparanozie by now should have been smart enough to realize that her words carry some weight - that was what got her into trouble the first time. She obviously hasn't learnt a thing from the past. Truth is, I really think its time we dispensed with all these old Mama's on the team in order for the younger ones to grow and for the mental health of the team.

Its time for the likes of Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Ngozi Okobi and Desire Oparanozie to be permanently excused from the team, in order to have a breath of fresh air. They are way to toxic and are stifling the ability for the team to blossom. I assure you, they will NOT be missed at all (case in point - Ucheibe vs. Chikwelu, Plumptre vs. Ebi). Let the young ones thrive without all the drama and negativity from the old ones, please! Haba!
I agree wholeheartedly and wish I could like your post a 100 times.

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has claimed that his team must be isolated from a very 'negative' Nigeria media to avoid distraction in their quest for World Cup qualification.

Idiot.

If being negative is calling you out for your weak team selection and bullsh!!t tactics, then so be it.

We no dey joke with any our national teams

Toni Payne should Mount that LB position from now on

but it seems she links with ordega Better

Ashleigh Plumptre can start ahead of ohale
I agree cos it'll be suicidal to play two slow centre backs.

I think Ebi is better than Ohale so I'll rather bench Ohale for Ashleigh Plumptre.

My back four would be Payne (LB), Plumptre (LCB), Ebi (RCB) and Alozie (RB).

This team should be the 1st 11 from now on including injured oyibo .oshoalla, chikwelu n co should be starting from bench. That team is only missing oparanozie the top9
Trust me, Ashleigh Plumptre plays central defence better than Onome Ebi and Osinachi Ohale.

She's faster, reads and anticipates the game better and is defensively more solid than Ebi and Ohale.

I guess the only way Rita Chikwelu will not be selected to start is if she has a tournament ending injury.

I am still irked she made the starting lineup. Already, she's stinking up our game

Did Waldrum do a review of the game and players performance?

If he did, how on earth did he select Chikwelu in the starting lineup again?

I give up.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by semid4lyfe(mod): 4:11pm On Jul 05, 2022
Some old & senior players are in the way of younger, better and more talented players thereby ruining the team play.

Rita Chikwelu, Osinachi Ohale and Onome Ebi should have been retired and have no business in this team.

Rita in particular is a terrible player and shouldn't be anywhere near our squad. I have been shouting this for ages.

Anyway, na the yeye coach I blame.

David Doherty of TeamNigeriaUK just posted on his IG that Michael Olise has chosen to represent Nigeria at international level.

How true is this?

Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Francesca Ordega should be eased out of the team. They are clearly past their prime.

We can win this if we play cautious and clinical but Chikwelu need to be removed, wished we had Ayinde or Otu available... Maybe Okobi too..

Amanda Mbadi and Peace Efih are the options available on the bench
Rita Chikwelu has been bad for a while now. I still remember her abysmal performance at the last AWCON.

She's too heavy, slow, has poor positioning and doesn't read the game well. I'm surprised she's a starter under Randy.

She should be yanked off and replaced for the 2nd half. Surely, her replacement can't be worse than her.
