Angola plays an open attacking style. They can't play any other way.
That suits our defensive/counter attacking style cos they're porous at the back and will leave spaces for us to exploit.
Ultimately, it be our biggest victory and I'm predicting
Nigeria 3 Angola 0
Today, we gonna soar. |

robosky02: Imagine what's happening buts it real
Rwanda has shot themselves to the top of a group were giant Nigeria and South Africa are also in the mix.
Rwanda have comfortably beaten South Africa 2-0 having drown their opening day fixture.
The win has also given Nigeria a live wire as it means South Africa will now be only a point ahead of Nigeria having played same number of games. Perfect result. Thank you Rwanda. Now, we go for broke against South Africa in June. |

lovewins: They made a common sense decision that ended up being in their favour.
First Zimbabwe can't play at home cause their stadium doesn't meet standard so South Africa was chosen to serve as their home front (same as Lesotho). Their first game however was against Rwanda, so they left for Rwanda early to camp and prepare. Their FA finally decided that instead of flying out to South Africa to face Nigeria (incurring additional logistical costs) they'll rather say in Rwanda to prosecute their game against Nigeria. They'll however be playing their remaining home game in South Africa (except they make decisions like this in the future). Was this decision to play their home games in South Africa made before or after the world cup qualifier draws? |

lovewins: Lesotho and Zimbabwe will be playing their home games there. Zimbabwe? How so? Zimbabwe was home in today's match and they played in Rwanda. Why will they not continue to play their home games in Rwanda and play n their direct opponent's turf? Doesn't make sense to me |

ChrisKels: I have never seen a Nigerian player either home bred or foreign bred speak as intelligently as Jerome Akor Adams. Damn that boy is super bright.
I don't even wanna talk about his fluency in English language even though he hasn't lived in an English speaking country before, besides being born here in Nigeria. It is hard to believe he didn't go beyond secondary school education. Him papa na school teacher/principal |

People of God, I don collect palliative o How did it happen? Got back from Church this morning and my neighbour (a banker) approached me and said the government is paying palliative through his bank, and staff were given slots. He said he'll be sharing it later in the day in the compound so wifey and I should come with one passport photograph each. I went with my pp, he ticked a male name on the register which I signed against. His partner then stapled my pp on a social Intervention fund/palliative branded envelope and then snapped my picture holding the envelope, after which I was handed an envelope with 5k inside. It's raining heavily presently but that has not deterred people from trooping into my compound to collect the money. I just say make I update una. |

She's really adamant and stewpd I liked her but now the babe dey vex me and has made me dislike her with her strongheadedness & desperation. Ball don leave am, but she no gree leave ball.... acting like she doesn't have a life outside the Super Falcons. She should stop occupying space and blocking the chances of younger and better players. Super Falcons no be do or die. If no be for my home training and the restriction of comments on her social media, I for don give her a piece of my mind. Very pathetic human being. |

lovewins: Well, in light of her retirement it's the best way to bow out. She's earned my respect really leaving when the ovation is loud while making room for younger players. We are waiting for aunty onome too. That Onome dey vex me ehn. Still pushing agenda to go to another WC when there are younger and better players. I hope the next coach freezes her out of the team and forces her into retirement. |

Oparanozie is a good PK taker so I wasn't surprised to see her step out up the first.
When she missed, my hope of us winning dimmed.
Super proud of the gals. Most people apart from lovewins, myself and a few others predicted us to lose in regulation time but the gals held their own.
The team exceeded expectation.
Going forward, NFF should renew Randy's contract, he's built a solid side and can only get better with this team.
And lest I forget, Onome Ebi and Ordega should leave the team |

codemaniacs: please Super Falcons are not "strong" and "physical"... those are terms whyte people use to tag Africans as rough and aggressive especially commentators...
so when you a supposed African and Nigerian uses such terms you're admitting that Super Falcons are rough and aggressive which is one of the reasons Super Falcons will get a red card and also cause a penalty..
never ever use such terms again... you use skillful and intelligent which are words I have never ever heard commentators use to describe African players. I agree. Post modified. |

Deltamani: To be Sincere China isn’t the China Steel Rose we used to know, the worst of it all is that they’re just too terrible, Defensively very poor. Can’t mark unlike the Falcons that would give you a tough time.
The game against England is an open one even though the olds favours them. Succinct. Our ball possession and attacking transition isn't the best but we're defensively disciplined, hardworking, full of running and possess gas tank for days. England has never had to play an ultra-defensive and strong team like ours before so we'll be a hard nut for them to crack. They attack in droves, play an open game and will leave lots of holes for us to exploit. No shaking, we go win |

They play more matches and are more active than our Super Falcons in the international female football circuit. |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by semid4lyfe(mod): 11:55am On Jul 31, 2023 |
lovewins: I think they are playing cautiously. It's the only explanation for the nonchalant approach to the game. Not cautiously, it's how we know how to play. This team can't press, pass nor hold the ball even if their lives depended on it. Defense and counter attacks is what suits our playing personnel. It's sad but it's the truth |
