Those three things happens together.

When you LOI drops, they immediately update your eligibility status and background check to completed.

Just calm down and keep emailing Abuja office that you’ve not received your LOI

You can use CBN rates, but your calculation doesn’t matter, the visa officers will do theirs as well.

As for accommodation, try to connect with Nigerian students in your school (linkedin can help). You can also check kijiji Saskatchewan and facebook groups.

At worst, you can book a room with Airbnb for a few days to allow you search for accommodation when you arrive.

1. Of course it will be an issue. Why will the husband and wife go to study in Canada and leave two minors behind. It’s better you apply for study permit for your kids as well.

You can only enter at least one month before your resumption.

Since you are resuming September, you have to wait till August.

Yeah, two sponsors is fine.

Just make sure you provide sufficient evidence and explanation as to why the person will want to sponsor you.

The tuition for one year is 18,000 CAD aside housing and living expenses. It’s a 2 years Post Bacc program. I’m single and will be applying for myself only. Will appreciate answers ��

Does your brother-in-law have any kids?

First of all, you’ll need to prove that he is your brother-in-law by providing your sister's birth certificate and her marriage certificate.

Then you’ll need to prove that your brother-in-law has enough money to sponsor you and at the same time take care of his family.
Get a statement of sponsorship or better still, have him transfer the POF to your account and get a gift deed for it.

Typically, you’ll need to show one year tuition which is 18k CAD plus 10K CAD living expenses.. Make sure he has money considerably larger than the 28k CAD total because the VO will want to make sure he is still able to support his family after providing sponsorship for you.

To further strengthen your application, you can pay the tuition for one year and do GIC.

About how to apply, you can choose to use either the new or old portal. Both works fine, the difference however is the document upload limit on the new portal is 2mb as opposed to 4mb on the old portal.

is a section where I have to get professor to support my application in terms
of being my supervisor. I have gone through the staff page and seen various
research interest of the different staff and have mailed few as to why I am interested
in their research field but no response. I have mailed the department of post graduate
studies and got a reply that it is my responsibility to get a sponsor for my department of
interest giving me a link of the staffs in the department of immunology. I have done the

If the professors do not reply you, it means they are not seeking students or they are not interested in you. You just have to try your luck with professors in other schools, there’s no other way around it.

You can also try emailing the professor’s students or staff in his laboratory, at times professors are too busy to check their emails.

Frankly speaking, it’s very difficult to get supervisors in Canada compared to other countries.

I sha feel I didn’t answer my question as I planned due to fear. Almost 6 people ahead of me were denied due to that first question of travel history.

It’s important you don’t try to show the VO any document except you are asked to.

You made the mistake twice, by trying to forcibly make the VO see those documents, you are giving him a reason to doubt your story.

Also, your brother-in-law sponsoring your whole family doesn’t really sail.

Travel history is not a denial reason on it’s own.

Yes it's a personal experience. I've renewed 2 passports so far, was asked to submit the first one after renewal back in 2017 and when I went to renew the second one last month, after the biometrics I was told that I'd have to submit the expired one when I come to pick up the new passport. So I'm genuinely surprised people actually go home with the expired passport after renewal.

You need to do it yourself because your fingerprints will be collected.

After your upfront medicals, did you sent mails or webforms to IRCC or you didn't do anything until the arrival of your correspondent letter & PPR?

I sent my medical sheet via email, I also sent an LOE explaining lump sums in my account statement.. Those were the two times I emailed them.
