Ezichi123: As usual, I walked into the interview hall with the hope and believe that God will change my story the secondtime. I had my first US interview 3 years back on Visiting visa and this time around, I decided to go for F1. I applied for MBA at one private school in USA. My one year estimation tuition and accommodation is $30,000 with $3000 scholarship from my school and my sponsoring bank statement of $34000.
Vo: good morning Me : good morning
VO: Which school are you going to? Me: University of ............
Vo: place your fingers for biometric Me: Ok
Vo: Who is sponsoring you? Me: My sponsor
VO: Where is the location of your company,? Me: Germany
VO: Have you been to Italy? Me: No, Italy is where our company is registered.
VO: You have travelled to Singapore? Me: Yes
VO: How long was your stay? Me: 1 year and 7 months. I have also been to Italy, Sweden
VO: How long have you stayed in Germany? Me: 5 months
VO: OK
VO: was typing uninterrupted........... Me: Looking at him with confidence
VO: I AM SORRY TO REJECT YOUR VISA AT TIS TIME. HE ISSUED ME A WHITE PAPER. ME: THanks and goodbye.
Please, who can advise me on why I was rejected my visa. I have travelled to 6 countries. I was only one that was denied Visa among the number of white people that came for visa. You seem to be contradicting yourself. You first said you’ve not been to Italy. Then you said again that you’ve been to Italy. Which is it? |

Azedolf: Hello, did my biometric Feb 9 and it show on my portal same day for biometric enrollment date but till now the biometric is not completed, it takes how many days to complete and approve biometric?
Also will I get message from IOM when they send my medical exam to IRCC cuz I did it Feb 8 and no update yet from IOM Biometric shouldn’t take long, mine reflected the same day, just give it time anyways. IOM will send you an SMS that your case has been submitted to the embassy. Once it has been submitted by IOM, upload the medical sheet you were given via webform. In less than two weeks, it should be reflected on your portal. |

Tilly365: Good evening everyone. Pls I heard about the NSE for student visa approval today and noticed FirstBank isn’t on the list of Banks for mybankstatement to show Proof of funds. My sponsor uses only a first bank account. Is there a way around this or does it mean I’ll have to apply via the normal route. Thanks in advance for your responses. Firstbank has MBS.. Just go to any first bank branch, you’ll be asked to make some payments online. |

I’ve been to the bank to complain, but now the error message I’m getting is “BVN is invalid”
Please how do I solve this |

kennyjoy: How important is documents you want to send? If is not important I will advise you not to send any docs since your eligibility review as began. I want to send MBS certificates. Though I already submitted bank statements with my application, but since most people are using MBS, I feel I should just add them also. Or is there no need? |

Osemigho: Canada is more interested in how applicant or sponsor accumulated funds than the balance, and evidence of strong relationship between applicant and sponsor. Your birth certificate and pictures is enough evidence of your parents. Did you submit evidence of how you accumulated the funds in bank statement? I yes, they may focus on that only since is it sufficient. The bond investment is very high and will look suspicious if you don't have and submitted evidence of a good source of income. Thank you, I was a bit worried that the money won’t be sufficient. I’m certain I proved their businesses well enough by uploading several related documents. |

Thankful for this platform. finally all the piece of my student visa journey is finally making sense . it’s been a roller coated trying to find schools with specialization in Human Resources or management. They all require gmat or gre and I’m trying to save cost lol. Please what’s the disadvantage of a 1 year program to a two year program. I found some management masters program but it’s 1 year . the employment relations I applied for at MUN is 1 year but can be completed in two years but it’s one year work permit me I’ll get.
also, I’ll like to find out the following. Would appreciate it if someone replies biko. A police officer told me it’s 70k for the police clearance certificate. Biko what’s the price . Police clearance is 5k |

Hello house, I submitted my application in December but I’m worried about whether my proof of funds is sufficient.
I submitted bond fund investment papers worth around 40m and explained in my letter than the investment can be withdrawn to cash at any time. But I’ve come across several articles that says IRCC does not consider investment papers as proof of funds.
But alongside the investment papers, I submitted three bank statements of my sponsors with a total closing balance of 10m.
Though my tuition for one year is CAD 8,096.. Plus living expenses of 10k, totals about 7million in naira.
My question is even if IRCC doesn’t consider the investment papers, will the 10 million bank statements suffice? And also will the investment papers have adverse effect on my application?
My sponsors are my parents. @makano @Anon123 @mrprolifik
Please anyone? |

Olanrae: Hi guys
I got a mail from university of Manitoba that economics department recommended me for admission. But the faculty of graduate studies wants me to submit my degree certificate and I’ve contacted my school and they said it’s not ready. Before the whole recommendation for admission and all, I uploaded my statement of result but it seems they don’t want it.
What do you suggest I do cos I have a deadline to submit.
My school is ready to write a letter attesting that certificate is not ready. but I don’t think they want that They’ll accept a letter of degree conferral written by your school on official letterhead and duly stamped. |

Hubby seeked asylum but not approved yet since 2017 So have tried 2 times no luck.
Now someone adviced us to tell my husband lawyer to write to usa embassy that the same thing that made him to seek asylum is disturbing the wife again, which the lawyer did.but since then no response from d embassy,I dont even know if they received it or not.
Now am planning to apply again through school believing God it will work cos have not gone thru school before.
Now why am confused is dat, dont even know weda they received d letter or not.
Secondly will it affect me if I apply for student visa.
Kindly advice.
Thanks. Too many things are going on here, from visiting visa to Asylum seeker to Study visa.. The Visa officer will have the idea that you just want to enter the US by any means possible and might not be convinced that you are a genuine student. You’ll need to do some serious explanation during your interview. |

So apparently, E is replaced with I and I was told it could pose as a problem when I get to camp. Please how do I quickly rectify this? Someone suggested I swear an affidavit and also do newspaper publication. But I want more input from experts and people who have had similar issues. Thank you. Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun please help! You just discovered after graduating from the university? How did you apply for admission? Anyway, an affidavit of misspelt name will suffice. |

I recently applied to one of the universities in Canada but paying for my application fee has been a great challenge. It requires I pay through credit card, I don't have this, neither does anyone around me. I would appreciate if I can find a way around this issue. I think it is getting late already. Thanks You can easily open dollar savings account with any bank. Buy dollars from Aboki and use it to fund your dollar account. You can pay your international fees with your dollar card. |
