Drybones: Kindly shed light on the quick configuration to get it working on anaconda Run the magic command below in your jupyter notebook %Config IPCompleter.greedy=True When programming, just hit the "tab" key for intellisence. Also when calling a function and you open the first bracket, you can hit shift+tab for documentation information like parameters and such. |

GidiCars: The last time I used anaconda which was early this year, it didn't have intellisense. They probably added it after Microsoft rolled out VS code with intellisense. It's not a new feature tho. The intellisence doesn't work by default, you have to do a quick configuration. But generally, its better to work with anaconda jupyter notebook, the visuals are more pleasing than on VS Code. For instance, if you are reading a multi-indexed Dataset with Pandas DataFrame on VS Code, the dataframe would appear disorganized and you'll not easily know which column belongs to which. But in anaconda Jupyter notebook, it would appear nicer, well organized in actual tables. |

Predstan: What script man. The print name or enter your name script Lol.
For real, you cannot write scripts on your phone. Tell me what IdLe u using and I will tell you what you can’t do. It’s good for leaning but not for real coding. The python being the easiest. How are you going to install libraries. How are you going to run terminals. I know you will talk about JupyterLab or Other online Access. But MAN, except you have keyboard attached your phone(iPad or Tab) I guess you are just not up to date... QPython and Pydroid mobile apps does all of the above. They come with terminals and interpreters as it is on a pc. You can easily install libraries on Pydroid with the normal pip install. You can launch jupyter notebook from Pydroid terminal and it will function normally as on a PC. |

You are still joking and playing hide and seek You can write scripts with your phone tho. I've done that a number of times when I wasn't with my PC. In fact, if you can successfully code on a mobile phone, doing the same thing on a PC should be much easier. |

Harkstetunz: olamidedivotee, from my research, you'll need the knowledge of calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics and background in deep learning. Bosses in the house can correct me if I'm wrong.
cc Evilsec You dont really need to know these things... There are various libraries at your disposal, with a single function call, you can perform complex mathematical conputations. If you then want to really know the mathematics behind such functions, that's when you need knowledge of calculus and such. But for a starter, just know what each function does, you don't need to understand the mathematics behind it. |

Do you have any idea where I can get AI and robotics curriculum for primary school kids? I'm currently in talks with a school proprietor who wants me to introduce his kids to hands-on AI and robotics. Wow, nice to see schools are finally delving into tech. Well, rather than going into AI for primary kids. You have to first start by teaching them python programming, make python fun for them by writing simple game scripts and such. I don't think primary school kids are ready for AI. As for the Robotics aspect, you can play around building simple robotic toys. |

OP, depending on your field, you won't be needing maths in programming. Most of the mathematical formulas are already embedded in libraries. From the libraries, you can easily call already written functions, specify your args or kwargs and perform your operations.
As someone in the AI field where complex maths is needed, all the functions I need are already at my fingertips. I don't need to be cracking my brain on calculus, statistics and the likes. |

Harkstetunz: Hello guys! I've been an ardent visitor of this section for a while now and believe me guys, you're all doing well . I literally haven't been fortunate to come across any thread detailing Artificial intelligence(there might actually be many) ; maybe you guys do not have penchant for it. Please, bosses, help about the things you know about AI (pros and cons included) and the things AI enthusiasts should know and be prepared for. Thanks. AI is not just a single field one can abruptly talk about. Well, the branch of AI I've dealt with are Machine learning and Robotics. These are two interesting fields. Machine learning on the one hand basically deals with machines or systems capable of learning from test data. After thorough training, the machine should be able to carry out accurate predictions be it categorical, regression, and lots of other methods. A major disadvantage of machine learning is the high susceptibility to error. For example, its very easy to over fit a Machine Learning model if care is not taken. Robotics on the other hand is the use of mechanical and electronics systems to develop machines capable to carrying out tasks with little or no human intervention. Robotics has numerous disadvantages ranging from high cost of implementation to the need for constant maintainenace. Other fields of AI includes deep learning and NLP. Deep learning has to do with learning across multiple layers of training. They generally produce systems with higher accuracy than machine learning . In neural networks, weights are adjusted over several layers till your error rate is small enough. It's somewhat similar to deep learning. As an AI enthusiast, I suggest you read up about the various fields of AI before delving into it. In the real world, there is no specific field like AI. You have to focus on one of the numerous branches of AI. That said, your language of choice should be Python. Python is the language of AI. |

i would love to learn HTML and JAVA for a start.
Thanks Bro, you don't need anyone to teach you anything. I learnt HTML, C#, PhP and Python from youtube videos and Udemy courses... Search for materials online, that's the best way to learn. |

CapedBaldy: I'm 20 years old and earlier this year I started teaching myself HTML and CSS. I understand how it works and I was really into it but during the lockdown I lost interest and stopped practicing. For some time now, I've been trying to get back into it. I've finished the books I use in learning but I've just lost all my enthusiasm for web design.
Right now, I think I need to learn a real programming language. I'm thinking of learning python. I had an idea for an app I would like to make but I'm not sure whether to just dump web design or finish it before moving on to something else.
What do you think is the best course of action? Lol, learning HTML and CSS is the most important thing for any newbie developer. Even if you learn python, you'll still need HTML and CSS at some point. So you obviously can't do without it, one step at a time. |

evergreen9: What type of questions are normally asked in the speaking test? Task 1 is mostly the same for everyone. The most common first question asked is "Do you work or Study?", then based on the answer you give, you'll be asked follow up questions. Task 2 is a random topic which you'll need to talk on, for about 2 minutes . The question cannot be predicted but my advice is have a process to tackle any question so that speaking for 2 minutes won't be a problem. Task 3 is just follow up questions on the topic you were given in task 2. |

aamstih: Congratulations!!!
I know you mentioned IELTSLiz and Ieltsonline. Asides those, do you have any preparation strategy or advice for future test takers? What I'll say is that as long as you're a native English Speaker, IELTS should be a walk in the park. I messed up during mine, especially my speaking session, stuttering at intervals and little grammatical errors, but still I made an 8.0 overall. If I should take the exam again, I'm 100% sure I'll hit the 8.5 overall band score. Just practice with ieltsonlinetests.com to get familiar with question patterns, if you don't score well during practice, don't worry because the actual exam is a lot easier. Before taking my test, my highest band in Reading and Listening from online practice was 7.0 and 8.0 respectively. Both exams were so simple that was expecting a 9.0 band but I ended up with 8.5 each. Don't get yourself worked up, you'll be fine. Watch all the tutorial videos on Ieltsliz.com. For the second task in the speaking part, I'll recommend Ieltsbuddy.com. You'll get to learn about a process that will enable you talk seamlessly within the alloted 2 minutes. |
