Politics / Re: 'How PDP Will Produce Next Senate President If Saraki Is Removed'-Delta Senator by senior123: 2:07am On Mar 31, 2016
Am telling you. Look at all the past senate presidents from PDP. David Mark turned he senate seat to the throne of england for himself alone for 15 years in benue state. Did absolutely nothing. A figure head. Good for nothing political Arrow recruited by the elite mafia gang PDP to steal from us. Now Saraki, the very definition of Corruption in flesh using our money to pay his 200 layers and sponsor his trial and pretending to give Kano N5m when it is not his money to give in the first place.
You want us to vote PDP again. Actually i think this is a good time for KOWA party to be tested as probation for 2019. What does everyone think?

Profwriter:
I am a young concerned Nigerian, although i'm not a politician, just a life scientist. But i'm saddened with the current state of the nation -with so many abandoned and half done projects by different governments. There is need for a national policy on development, so that who ever comes into power, be it APC, PDP, KOWA etc, will act on the already designed plan for development. Its high time the youths decide the future. We can no longer stomach this abominations and violent rape on our nation. Fellow Nigerians lets come together and champion this cause, we are tired of unrealistic party manifestos. We need a national policy, that is achieveable, drafted by people with visions for the future to give us direction from this quagmire to an enviable heights, were Nigerians will be proud to be Nigerians.

Politics / Re: Path To Industrializing Nigeria (The Forced Growth Model) by senior123: 8:41pm On Mar 30, 2016
1andonly:
Hi Nairalanders!

I have grown tired of the mess that is Nigeria and I have been thinking seriously for sometime. I am hoping to find a partner(s) preferably an Economist to work together with on a model to industrialize Nigeria.

I am presently working on a mini article but the model should be the bigger picture. The crux of the model is to involve China in Nigeria the way China involved the USSR in its industrialization.

My motivations and turn offs:

I have gotten tired of Nigerian politics and our bereft politicians. I am no fan of Jonathan or Buhari.
I hate tribalism with passion.
I don't think corruption was/is Nigeria's biggest problem. I quote someone-"you can always take the moral high ground with more money in your pocket...". I think poverty is accountable for upwards of 80% of the social challenges we face. I rather think setting up strong and independent institutions is way better than "fighting corruption".
Africa needs a road map to industrialization. I think Nigeria can provide that.
I try to be one of the most unbiased persons you will find around (when I am biased, I state it though). I can actually take my brother to court if he deserves it.

Ultimately I like this guy...

So what? we should be grateful to PDP for building roads after 16years. Where are our hospitals, where is the education for the children of this land, where is the housing, water and feeding for the children of this land? All stolen. And we should applaud and be grateful bcoz one governor has finally constructed a road with 1/10 of the money he has looted over 16years. You must be a joker.

Was Akwa Ibom like that when he met it?
U guys forget so soon that Akwa Ibom and katsina were created same day, same year, yet u can't compare the two states.
Places like kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Port Harcourt, etc were already made more than 50years ago, but Akwa Ibom came out from no where and pushed most of them to d dungeon.
We deserve to be applauded

miney that he stole. he is not doing any favours. he is giving back. this does not get him off his trial. it is because of his corruption our budget is yet to be signed and the whole nation is in his mess. You know budget allocation time is money-sharing time for PDP. Buhari has blocked that door. That is why they dont want to do the right thing. Saraki. If he likes he can empty his bank account. All of it is kwara state's money. So he is giving back what he stole. All Nigerian money with that man must be collected. There is nothing he can do. He is not fooling anybody. YOU MUST ANSWER FOR YOUR CRIMES

Does he need 2 plead. If things continue like dis till 2019, Nigerians will b d ones 2 beg the PDP na. Lol

Why do people think that Nigerians Opposition to APC is an approval to PDP? PDP is a mafia gang and Nigerians that are non-benefitiaries of PDP loots or paid PDP media correspondents on social media platforms will never vote for PDP. That population happens to be more. APC will be evicted too by 2019 if they fail to deliver. And if we have only two choices, honestly, i will vote APC again. The last thing any nigerian want is for the mafia to get a hold of our presidency again.

Akpabio doesnt need to beg in the South east and south South region. The people there will always vote the PDP even if it mean eternal suffering to them. Despite the failure of GEJ in developing the infrastuctures in the SS and SE having ruled for 6yrs, they still wanted PDP. They vote out of hatred for the Yoruba and hausa/fulani tribes so even if PDP nominates a Monkey they will vote for it. Unfortunately for them, their numbers are inconsequential in the scheme of things as seen in the last Elections. They can never out vote the north and the southwest which means APC will rule till at least 2023 grin

That does not even make sense. These regions are one of the least developed areas in Nigeria. I can select places in the north better that SE/SS. Their govt PDP, a mafia gang by the way, is just stealing their money. Where is the sense in that?

That's the point. They should go or employ our people as top managers and stakeholders in the companies. Not as cleaners, gatemen, drivers or secetaries. That is the only way we can derive value from them. If not they are just exploiting us as usual.

Enough of this religious hate and bigotry. Everyone is moving on to leave religious sentiments behind in public and political agendas. Anyone who does not want to take this peaceful route out would be left behind by the rest of us and we will not apologize about this. Chibok girls are missing and rather than state that children have captured help is required, it is turn into a christain muslim thing. When you know fundamentally these are just external non-muslim and non-christain forces trying to stir trouble. Stop it really.
So what do you want to now? Fight all christains?

Yes but how much was your father's salary doing for the family? Even though he was working so hard but it always seemed never to be enough. Thanks to PDP. The naira is useless. They were all western stooges who opened up our borders to the importation of toothpicks and thus the constant devaluation of Naira. That must be fixed at some point. Since Buhari has already started let him just finish.

That is so rude!!! Which one have u built? When u build a pencil, then you can speak.
