lexyj123: is it necessary to include the details of sponsor(s)' dependent relatives in the letter of sponsorship? because i think the pattern of income and expenditure in the bank statement and even the savings balance should indicate the sufficiency of the sponsor, does the VOs think in the pattern? It is not necessary. Keep it simple and short. |

standupguy: Thread moves very fast over 100 pages already.
Is it compulsory for your sponsor to specify how much is available to you? If it's a single sponsor, it's not. S/he can simply state that they would be responsible for all of your expenses. That pretty much covers everything. |

Team12: It takes 5 working days for Consultant practice to send your results to cic. IOM on the other hand sends in 48 hours. For those who want to do medicals for their kids below 5 years, the exam in IOM takes few minutes and it's only 15k . It's only physical exam that is done, and your kid's result is sent to cic immediately (it might even be before you step into your car ).
With what I experienced with my daughter's medicals, IOM is the way. I went all the way from the Island to Ikeja, but it was worth it. More space, more friendly and professional staff and quick turn around time! Hmm...Wish I had known this before I went the Consultant way. Anyhow, would give them their 5 working days. Hopefully, they'll come through by then. Thanks. |

Hi guys. Please for those who've done medicals, how long did it take before your cic status became updated? I had my medicals done at Consultants Practice on Tuesday and I'm still awaiting an update on my account. Should I be worried? |

omooba2015: You mean the money may later leave the account as soon as, someone print his/her SOA. because,I had they normally confirm the available balance from the bank as that day they are asking.. Maybe those have been called for medical pr getting TRV, can help us through light to this issue. Yes, the money may leave the account. Happened in my case and didn't affect the outcome of my application. It is advisable though to leave a meaningful amount to make things easier in the event that you need to reapply. Hopefully that would not be the case. |

Hello everyone, just want to announce that by the grace of God, I have just received a request for medicals. My application wasn't perfect in my eyes, but I thank God for His favour. Special thanks also to @SeyiMiilan, @haustralia and @seiraries, who specifically responded to my various requests, to @pchax, whose SOP was a template upon which I developed mine, and to other members of this thread who continue to provide support and information to those in need. May God grant you all your heart desires. Amen. |
