KingMEXX: being brainy doesnt guaranty success in Jamb, that is an obvious truth every student would attest to. So cool down a bit and look deep into the student's 177 score, he/she may have made mistakes during the exam. It depends on how the student prepared for the exam although Jamb's scoring system can also be questioned here.

KingMEXX: I wrote Jamb 2yrs ago and I must confess that the questions were alot tougher than what yu get these days. The results then were not as bad as what we saw today.
If you compare the statistics of 2011 and 2012 or even this year, you would notice that there is a sharp growth in the number of failures. Every event that occurs naturally in life does so through a progression or stages and so, when there is a sharp decline it indicates that there is a factor causing the sharp decline. Now relating this instance to Jamb, one would notice a SHARP decline in performance between 2011 and 2013. The disparity in d statistics is quite much for just a gap of two years which would leave the average youth questioning Jamb's credibility.

I also blame the students for the poor performance, how can you tell me you didnt shade your paper type when it was explained in the instruction. Its not even a new trick, so didnt you revise with previous question papers?? I felt like slapping the girl that gave me that as her excuse for failing. That singular act alone shows the student was never ready for the exam. And also, students dont read again and are always depending on 'expos' which anyone can seat at his parlour and formulate doesnt bring good fortune, one should know. Students hardly engage in intensive study for this exam due to the availability of the 'a,b,c' expos. I dont obviously see why a student should fail an exam he/she took upto 6months to prepare. Bottomline is that the Nigerian student needs to benddown and read more because we are the future of tomorrowing and with the eroded ways people think these days, we are in a big mess. Jamb has lost its credibility, yes and even its relevance but what other solution can be proferred? Scrapping jamb and making use of only P-UTME? That may be like adding another TCP to an already open wound

avalontony: JAMB JAMB JAMB!!!!!!.....those of u that think that you were no awarded ur correct scores, pls pick the question papers and go over them again. In Jamb questions u have related answers, that if u make a mistake in ur solving u will arrive at an answer which will make u think u got d right answer. Computer hardly make mistakes, dont think black answer sheet has never been graded by computer......they have test runned all this before, its not d first time jamb is conducting exam. I know how it feels to get a low score in jamb............. U can always try again.....this is not the end!!!!
